1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Defi New revolution or just like 2017 ICO,s ? on: August 13, 2020, 08:21:50 PM
The year of ICO few projects survive, I think the same will happen to DEFI too. Link still remain the king of DEFI, every other DEFI has grown out f use case. They called it Decentralized finance but many are manipulated in price just to get the interest of people. It has happened before and it's still happening again, only those who can moderate their greed will survive.

You can digest this with overview of DEFI projects in general.

1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (DEFI) YAM! YAM! YAM! a scam? on: August 13, 2020, 08:11:38 PM
Of all names they chose YAM? It is very funny a name and that will be a lazy team decision and lack of idea. Traders and investors who were here a few years ago will hardly fall for such cheap pump and dump projects, except they're greedy.
I believe there are group of people who prefer hype and pump. They jump in, make profit and move to the next project to make money.
They did this to Yam, unfortunately Yam became so fried after bug was discovered. Yam deserves more than  a meme after rekting many funds. It's already delist from Coingecko, other exchange will soon follow
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: August 13, 2020, 03:26:13 PM
In short dont be greedy.

If we see a growth to our coins that we hold and made profit be contented to it.

Dont aim for high return unless if you're certain that this particular coin can give you the profit you really want.
Greed and wrong decisions are linear in nature. After seeing what happen to Yam finance bug that plunge the price from $130 to almost $0, I will never hold alts for long time. Investing in cryptocurrency in risky but marring Alt coins will be suicide.
The best way is to diversify portfolio, %20 interest is okay for me to move on to the next hot project.
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Okay whales and market manipulators, I need you to crash the coin markets now. on: August 13, 2020, 06:10:05 AM
You don't have to cry for market to crash. When others loss, there are groups that always gain. You have managed to exit with your profit, you dont have to want market to bleed. Btc judgment always fundamental, if there isn't any bad news, I'm sorry to say it's not crashing anytime soon.

Twitter recent account hacks of high profile people couldn't do anything to btc price, its either you jump into another alts or keep waiting  Cheesy
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (DEFI) YAM! YAM! YAM! a scam? on: August 13, 2020, 06:02:22 AM
24hr high $167 and 24hr low is $11, this is ridiculous and painful on the ass. The hype will continue, the gullible and Sheepy investors will always want to follow the trend for quick rich. DEFI cycle will soon comes to an end and there are  losers during market bull cycle.

Quote
We need YAM farmers to act now.
If we are successful, YAM holders will very likely vote to reward those voters who help save the protocol.
Huh! What do you expect, that's what every bag holders do. They always justify shitty things with a blind eye.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So every dead project that adding "DeFi" to its name, pumping 100000% ? on: August 12, 2020, 01:03:13 PM
What the hell?

every dead project, with no development team that add's defi to his name, get a 100000% pump?

That's the Defi Hype season?
Including projects with billions of supplies has reduced their total supply to 1:1000. After the upgrade, they decided to add DEFI to the ticker name. Isn't that trickish?
Irrelevant project will always gain within short period of time but wouldn't last long.

ICO>>>IEO and now DEFI.
Time will define their success in the long run.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you be the investor that made that fortune or not? on: August 12, 2020, 12:45:55 PM
I lost my fortune in the last pandemic market crash because of single simple mistake. Never used stop limits on my trades.
I congratulate those who bought LINK at 0.1$ on binance, Kava is solid and Band was a crazy come back with coinbase listing. I can't agree more that DEFI is 2020 trend.

Describe what do you like about bitcointalk forum, and what you would improve.

When you look beyond your familiar section, you would realise that this forum is huge with lots quality educational thread, not just cryptocurrency but politics and economy.

I like the way the forum is designed, the merit and trust system has clear differences, the scammers and the spammers are easily dictated.
I want to support the forum by reporting scam websites, scam investment that promise novice high ROI within days in the Scam section juts as I have did in two of my topics.
We need to protect others from falling victim.

1013  Economy / Exchanges / Re: which bitcoin decentralized exchange has no trading fee? on: August 06, 2020, 06:33:52 AM
i have been searching for decentralized exchanges that i could use but i have three problems:

1. some of what i find are not actually decentralized!

2. 90% of these decentralized exchanges are actually token swaps. but i have no interest in tokens, i am looking for an actual exchange where i can trade cryptocurrencies

3. finally it is the fees. it makes no sense to me to pay fees to a centralized authority while using a decentralized exchange! and sometimes their fees are also too high...

can you introduce me to an actual decentralized cryptocurrency exchange that has no trading fees (everything happening P2P)?
It will be difficult to find decentralized exchanges as such. I know Airswap decentralized exchange, it's a Peer-to-peer token trading on Ethereum, without trading fees( you are required to stake some certain amount of airswap tokens to benefit zero trading fees).

1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do we really need stable coin? on: August 02, 2020, 08:48:54 AM
While the future of main crypto is still uncertain. One of the biggest issues is Bitcoin's status as a store of value and a bubble that can increase and decrease any time depending on the fundamentals, Stable coins are considered as safe heaven by investors and traders to avoid this huge losses.

Mostly adopted by top exchanges for trading, look at BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT AND LTC/USDT Volume compare to other trading pairs, stable coin dominate the entire exchanges.
Majority of future Exchange  traders /institutional investors preferred to be settle in PNL USDT than BTC.

This stable currency are also alternative to Fiat/ physical currency
1017  Economy / Scam Accusations / Lionsshare: Another Forsage Ponzi Investment Scheme on: July 27, 2020, 07:22:04 PM
While I was going through this section last month, I saw thread about Forsage Investment Scheme and how they luring Newbie into smart contract Ponzi scheme and referral.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5257989.0

Today, I saw something similar/ same to Forsage and its called LIONSSHARE. it was lunch just last month and they seems to have accumulated about 67,623 users globally and its growing.

Lion’s Share claim to be a decentralized Ethereum Smart Contract that has been deployed directly on the blockchain which every user need 0.04ETH to get started.
https://imgur.com/a/sPfhVwm

They also promised to offer a peer to peer matrix compensation plan that pays 100% commissions directly and instantly to their members.
Becareful guys, invest wisely.

A question for connoisseurs of this topic.
As you know, many cheaters who participate in bounty companies after receiving a red trust simply forget about that account and start a new account.
If I have proof that this is the same person, should we tag such accounts? For example, with the mark
"An alternate account previously tagged for breaking the rules in bounty companies"?

Please check again, I was warn by moderator to abandon that account which I did, I don't know why you need to give me red trust after everything was settled. This is unfair. I have never go against or scam any one before
1020  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DeviantCoin bullish ? on: July 25, 2020, 05:50:45 PM
This is what you get when an exchange lack liquidity as a result of thin buy order book. Its very easier for big bag guys to drop the price in just a click of market price.

Graviex liquidity is so low with wash trade, the combine exchange volume aren't even up to $50k.
