Hello all,
I'm developing a "corporate" DApp, therefore the employee don't have any reason to "spend" their ether/gas for interacting with the contract...
Is there any way to enable each transaction to be Auto-paid by the contract itself? If not how would you address this problem? I cannot pass ETH to employee, because they might "spend it" and at the same time why they would use their own ETH?

This is cool but why necessary ethereum network, there are other blockchain as suggested by some users above. Have you think how to handle the transaction fee when there is network congestion? Are you willing to let go of all the fee on your contract by your staffs? Remember it's a decentralized application where full authority will be handle by your employees. Don't forget that frequent interaction with smart contract increases fee as well. Perhaps, you should provide monthly targets spending limit to interacts with DApps or change network. #peace. |

I started buying ADA just in case Ethereum 2.0 takes too much time to be implemented, which could impact ETH price. The most close competitor is Cardano, so I thought about building a hedge in ADA. In case ETH goes down, ADA could go up, as projects would move to the Cardano network.
However, I dont know how much, percent-wise, I should buy of ADA. Should I put 10% of the value of my ETH stash in ADA? Or 20%? How much would you recommend? This is for security purposes. I still believe ETH 2.0 will succeed.
ETH2.0 will come to pass just as the sun rise and set but not as everyone think. Vitalik has stated it on virtual webinar on the progress of it improvements on ethereum network, it's has been challenging but with little time, it will soon kick off but the public should not expect it to go fully. Not as everyone one anticipated, it will take years before scalability will be achieved. On the other hand, cardano is one of the best performing alts this year after the successful launch of their mainnet. The hype is down, perhaps this is the best moment to get them cheap. Don't take this as financial advice, do your own research no matter others opinions, affirmative or negative. |

There have been a peaceful protest on twitter and different states in Nigeria that has been trending the past few days, the Nigerian youth demand the Government to reform it policing and put an end to police brutality especially the group called #FSARs. It has attracted a lot of international attention including some popular and influencers on Twitter. Some individuals decide to help and fund the protest by making donation through Flucterwave for provision of lawyers for any unlawful actions by police, food and drinks. The platform was shutdown as soon as they started receiving funds. In response to that, Jack Dorsey Tweeted to put an end to SARS and adviced to make donations Via BITCOIN instead. This is why bitcoin exist, no one can temper with your money unless they have access to private key. |

This isn't the first time cryptocurrency has been featured on Nollywood, a similar thread has been created since 2016 and not yet thrash, you may update it on the this thread. The first time I heard of Bitcoin and ethereum was in the famous Nollywood series, Queen of the South in 2018 sadly for me, I dnt have any clue about cryptocurrency. It was how drug were pushed using ethereum and bitcoin to clean their drug money. There are other movies that has influenced Nollywood and people if you check the thread above. Onecoin messed up so bad and has ruin their reputation, glad that the court has held them responsible for their huge scam in this industry. They were speculation back then how they dump their bitcoin and ethereum during the pandemic market loss. If ICOs were to be rated, it will be 1/10 iny opinion.  |

This is blind comparisons, Bitcoin was the first coin to be created, all other Alts where built from its technology in other to improve users adaptability and adoption.
Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakomoto has been anonymous person from early days of crypto, his/her last seen on the internet was 2010, ever since the disappearance, its only the core developers that has been making progress on the network.
Ethereum on the other hand is an open-source, public, blockchain-based with smart contracts operating with 100 of developers with new ideas. Ethereum solely depends on Bitcoin believe it or not, otherwise Ether price wouldn't be affected when there is sell off in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the real gem and beast other altcoins depends on and will always remain first Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System that was ever built.

I have made up my mind to always trust high ranked member projects although few turn out to be scam, that's from the team being dishonest actually. How newbie open a thread on Announcement board with no single image with two line description about a project is funny, but you can't judge them since they are still new to the forum.
I have seen and observed where a newbie with copper rank run a successful project in this same forum with no string or any form of scam, it depends on individual and the perception towards some project.
Do your own research atmost, it's not every time you need to be breastfed, TON the famous Telegram project was launched by a high rank member, it was legit but turn down by Sec. This are some of the unexpected things that can happen to any projects.

I wonder if the relationship between US and China will improve if Biden becomes president.
There is close symbiotic relationship between US and China, if it no longer exist, it will largely affect the two side. It's either low demand of goods in China if Yaun decrease which will definitely increase goods price for for US and its neighboring countries, I don't expect increase in demand as well, and vice-versa. Don't expect miracle to happen so soon, I'm not a pro US but that country don't joke with their economy and currency, who knows Biden may do the opposite what people expect, to continue trumper US  Contrary opinion! China digital Yuan would still be government money with full centralization by the central bank, bad idea for me. We need decentralized environment, I will choose bitcoin and alts any day, any time any place. |

On uniswap as you all know, we need to approve tokens first then only we can swap those. Which also means uniswap smart contract can call that token anytime from our wallet however it is not centralized and codes are public so we trust it. But what if tomorrow there is some bug found and someone exploit it to call those tokens from our address? Because at time of approve normally we approve unlimited quantity of that token for repeated trades. recently i had to change approval and made it 0 through uniswap contract just because of such thing i heard. What is your opinion? Coming to UniSwap, there are terms and conditions associated with decentralized exchanges which is of course riskier when interacting with their interface, if you dnt feel safe, port back to centralized exchange. Please I will like DT member to reply me, how can the forum handle users who cheat on Bounty by using ones details without the owner consent, the only detail they change is their wallet address. In a situation where a cheater used your handle to register a campaign you already registered and copy your work for submission.
There are even situations where the cheater register a bounty before you do and I get piss with this set of people.
How the manager accept their magical registration is still a mystery to me, I sometimes complain but manager are too busy to crush these guys and report their usernames here, perhaps to many participants and the outcomes of this activity isn't healthy for trust and feed back because you might not be aware.
About multiple registration on Bounties, I think it's high time the forum makes regulations and rules for manager as well, I have seen situations where participant get banned, instead of the user to lay low a while, they will register another account and continue participation with the previous line/row on the spreadsheet.

Have you gone through the previous reply on his thread? You sound new to Bitcointalk but I disagree your ranking. There's nothing in this crypto field that is entirely free, you have to do or give something to get out something. It's either the op is doing it for free as he claimed but wouldn't tell you how he is benefiting and along last, you will be in the dark. I am skeptical about everything. The profile feedback and trust also says a lot about his offer, you should reconsider and trade with caution. |
