The claified reduced coin count already has the markets starting to correct quickly with still a few weeks left at the 250 DNET payout. |

Ugh, we had a long day, I had to keep running my kids here and there all day, and we had a few last minute issues creep up, but, the new source is now available on github for all of you self compilers, https://github.com/Darknet-Crypto/Darknet/releases/tag/v1.1.0.0. The binaries will be up soon, s3v3n is working on compiling them right now. The newly updated ANN will follow closely behind. This is a mandatory update, everyone needs to be on the new version, 1.1.0.0, by block 151200, about 2 weeks from now, that is when the new block rewards will go into effect. Notices will be sent to all service providers shortly. Thanks for your patience, I know I said this would be done last night or this morning. Sorry for the delay guys. Thanks, StakeBox. Can't wait for block #151200! Hopefully this will end the daily dumping on bittrex and we can grow from there.  I've loved every minute of the dumping. Proposal to save Darknet from inflation
PoW phase with steady block reward is producing too much coins, it is hurting early investors and promotes dumping. Price now is 4x lower than month ago. We need emergency measures to prevent this.
I propose significant reduction of PoW supply and giving biger % reward to masternode owners. It will decrease selling preasure from miners and will support MN owners who are more loyal to Darknet cryptocurrency.
We will have total of 39 960 000 coins at the end of the PoW phase instead of 64 800 000 coins (-24 840 000 coins that could be dumped).
Blocks 1 - 135 000 (94 days, ends by may, 8)
POW reward: 250 DNET
Total supply: 33 750 000
Blocks 135 001 - 259 200 (86 days)

Also, just so that there are no surprises, the proposal didn't account for the budget portion of coins, so the actual rewards will be 22.5 to miners, 22.5 to masternodes, and the remaining 10% will be available for budget proposals, or up to 432000 per month. Any coins that are not spent on the budget don't get created, so any projected total coin counts are a maximum number, the actual supply will almost always be slightly lower than the projections that are based on completely spent budgets. IMO at this stage focus should be on implementing proposed tech and usability instead of aesthetic changes. OK guys and gals.. I did end up finding crz that Danonthehill suggested, his work is "Outstanding", but with that quality, comes a cost. a significant one. He has asked for a budget, so I need to guage what everyone thinks. I am sure this would take us to a higher level of professionalism, but I need to hear your thoughts before I create a budgetary proposal for his work. Crz is a bit out of your league. His design skills would give Darknet an air of legitimacy that a 3-month Dash clone has neither earned nor deserves. My advice, stick with the cheap guy. More your level. Large, different, quality digital art really helps with Twitter marketing. Thats something I'm sure the community can do right here. Offer a MN worth of DNET for reward or something? As stated before investors dont mind putting up their capital but their time on the other hand is more valuable or they are not able for whatever reason. If we can donate to freelance art from the community everyone will benefit while DNET is dirt cheap.

It seams nothing we post is adequate, Why don't you help us out. Create your own proposal for the advertising, then you can handle the advertising aspects for Darknet. As more funds are required, you can submit another proposal with your results from the first funding for the advertising. FYI; 1.6 btc worth of Advertising is probably not enough for one month let alone a week. But I nominate 'jakiman' to handle the advertising and PR for Darknet. Head on over to Dash and look at what they spend monthly for advertising. I just did, and the spend significantly more than 1.6 btc every month. Welcome aboard Jakiman!! I know what you are trying to say but it's not possible to compare DASH to DNET right now. It's like saying Walmart spends much more in advertising than your local supermarket.  I agree that 1.6 BTC isn't a lot. (if you dump that 400k instantly right now that is) But 400K DNET sounds a lot that's all. (In relation to the total coin supply) Anyways, I'm just saying it's just unfortunate that DNET has such a low market cap right now.  I can help out with MN votes for your advertising. Can we not create a few buttons inside the wallet and get some vps ready with some forms with empty fields. We press the buttons in the wallet copy and past to the fields in the vps ...boom masternodes are running.

That would be very helpful. I'll admit, although I'm relatively new to Linux Im having trouble setting MNs up using misc. tutorials for set up. Im sure if I was on Windows It'd be no big deal but I'm focusing on leaving them for good sooo... If anyone wants to help, feel free to PM or direct me to some info I may have skipped over on how to set up my wallet correctly (linux mint) and MNs that'd be awesome.
