662  Economy / Auctions / Re: RAVENBIT 'Node" Color Coin (Gray) on: July 16, 2015, 09:50:22 PM
Are you going to be auctioning or selling any of the rarer colored coins?

Ill auction a green if it's not used for trade leverage with something else, soon. It's an extra I have but the orange and red as of this moment are NFS. I haven't decided if I want to grade them now or wait until I have a complete set of colors first. Either way, the values on the generalized price chart on the trading thread are not even close to what I'd let the orange and red go for. With the quality of these coins there's no reason at all to ditch a 1 of 6 for 1 BTC atm. If it were some bs china coin with an orange sticker I would sell them and run but I think RavenBit will continue to grow if 'they' keep making quality coins like this.

If you want to trade for multiple ravenbit nodes + btc PM me on the bitcoin bowl coin. I watched the game just to see the ads and promos and ive been kicking myself for not buying one just for the sentimental value of watching the first btc sponsored game. 1BTC is alot more that Id like to dish out for a coin w no face value but it is graded high and....you're the one with the coin.  Wink Also lmk if you have one that isnt graded if you're interested in trading as well. thanks.
664  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: People are still buying 333 MH/s Block Erupters on: July 16, 2015, 04:48:24 PM
Theyre value should go up in the next few years as collector items.

I really doubt people would even try to actually use them considering 333 MH would make about 3 cents a month not counting electric which obviously, anywhere in the world, would put you in the red no matter what. If I were to do it, I'd solo mine. If I solved a block with one this forum would never hear the end of it.  Wink

667  Economy / Auctions / RAVENBIT 'Node" Color Coin (Gray) on: July 16, 2015, 02:30:28 AM
I bought a couple rolls of these at release. They're very nice. Here's a link to the OP [ANN]

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1090921.0

This auction is for one gray coin. You will receive one coin, one airtight case, and the blue pouch with the raven bit logo shown in [ANN]

The coin pictured is an image I took but is not the coin you are receiving. The coin pictured is the one I set aside to show my family and the hologram has been removed and passed around.

Any coin I sell was only touched with gloves upon opening and stacked side by side and placed in airtight cases unless otherwise noted.

Starting Bid: .01 BTC
Bid Increments: .01

Three day auction.
Auction is over at EXACTLY at 10:00 PM EST 7/18/15

Shipping is .01 US ONLY, with the only exception of very trusted user that can guide me though the best way to ship internationally and is patient.

Escrow is fine. Direct payment is too. Sniping encouraged  Cheesy

Congrats on the RAVENBIT set sale.  Shocked

Nice to see these coins doing well. It's surprising any full sets were sold at all IMO. Nice coins. PMing about yellow and purple.
669  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The (Official) RAVENBIT COLORS coin trading / valuation thread on: July 15, 2015, 10:09:49 PM
Was the color random distributed, or did each roll guarantee a specific amount of orange, red, purple ect.
Could you risk getting a roll only with gray?
Each roll contained either 1 or 2 colors.
3 rolls contained all 6.

So, you were guaranteed at least one special color in each roll.

Hehe. Yeah I had two 2 colour rolls.  On one, I started from the bottom, so I thought I had hit a 6 colour one and got faked out hard.  And then when I did the next one the same thing happened except this time I ended up hitting a third, then a fourth, and so on. Smiley

I did the same thing and was pissed when it was a green coin first then a bunch of grays until on coin 7 or 8 the I picked the orange out and I did my 'BOOO YEAH' dance around the house.

I have yet to even see a blue or violet. -_-
671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cheapest way to send a coin less than 100 miles? on: July 15, 2015, 01:18:07 PM
A USPS flat rate small box will cost $5.95 with tracking and up to $50 in insurance. A flat rate padded envelope would cost $6.10. Both would get it to its destination within 2 days (assuming you are shipping domestically).

If you buy insurance then it would cost an extra ~$4 or so (this is assuming the value of the coins is under ~3BTC). If you want signature confirmation of delivery then it would cost an extra $3.10 (iirc).

FedEx and UPS are going to be more expensive.

The value is less than .1 and Im dealing with a very trusted user and I have many more in case for whatever reason they manage to 'lose' it from point A to point B. 6$ is roughly half what I charged for shipping and more than 25% of the coins value. I really assumed that I could ship it domestically for less than $5 anywhere. Ill just bring the coin into the P.O. and talk with someone there. If anything not recommended above is available I will post the method. Thanks guys.
You might be able to qualify for regional rates of where it is going meets certain criteria (I am not sure what exactly qualifies for regional rates).

In theory you could put it in an envelope and mail it as a letter however I would not recommend doing this because I don't think you would be able to sufficiently package/pad the coin.

I was in able to buy a padded envelope for 1.59 and it was 2.55 to ship 3 day from USPS w tracking. This worked well for me just remember if using this for reference this coin had a very low value. If it were worth any more or if the buyer didnt have such high trust I would have had to use a small priority box for $7 +tax. Thanks guys.

Received my 2 Ravenbits today thanks digicoinuser Smiley.

I must say they're much nicer in real life and the hologram is one of the best I've seen.

These pictures really don't do them justice.

That is exactly how I feel about these coins. When I bought them I thought to myself 'pretty neat, I guess' but once they arrived I was very impressed. Those pictures you took look nice but like you said nothing I've seen (including my desperate attempts) do the coins any justice lol Glad to see some RAVENBITs spreading out!  Smiley
676  Economy / Trading Discussion / Cheapest way to send a coin less than 100 miles? on: July 14, 2015, 01:20:32 PM
Im assuming USPS is my best route shipped in a small bubble wrap envelope or do they have prepaid sizes? I sold a coin yesterday (not graded) and Im shipping today. The value of the coin is relatively low so saving an extra dollar or two on shipping would be great. Thanks in advance.

678  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: July 14, 2015, 01:31:19 AM
Hi guys, I'm recently wondering all this work and investments we do with bitcoin, and 2015 hasn't been a very pleasant year for btc. Do y'all think that bitcoin will keep going up or drop to what it once has in 2009? Just imagine one day bitcoin drops 200 dollars, that will probably give all of us depression. Advice and predictions please Wink Huh

Bitcoin will hold above 270. IMO bitcoin will not see 230 by September, therefore 'it never will again'. I think this will be the last year to get in at these prices. People can manipulate the market and pump ltc to 10$ and burn lots of people, over and over but eventually bitcoin will rally again. After that correction will show the current value of bitcoin. If bitcoin rallys past previous highs no one knows where it will stop before correcting. I think people underestimate how much sideline money is coming into and watching bitcoin regularly.
