701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: These are worth $1000+ now. on: March 07, 2013, 01:13:13 AM
Where can I get one?
702  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Asic Update March 1st on: March 01, 2013, 04:23:21 PM
Now if they'd only confirm my order... !
703  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Batch #1 Ships on: March 01, 2013, 04:22:47 PM
Are there still people who haven't had their order confirmed by Avalon from Batch #2?
704  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Avalon ASIC Batch #2 Sales Update (Last Updated 2013-02-12 17:56 EST) on: February 19, 2013, 05:44:28 PM
Is there anyone else who hasn't received confirmation from Avalon for their order of the original batch #2 at this point or is it just me?

I only got one from Walletbit.

I received confirmation from Walletbit for payment and address verification.. was good enough for me. Specially since all Avalon will do is log into Walletbit to verify the order themselves which is the same information.

How did you get address verification from them?
705  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch#2 Re-open 2/18 on: February 19, 2013, 05:44:02 PM
Now if they could only confirm batch 2.0 orders.

and a wave of confirmations has been sent out!

Any chance to receive a confirmation for my previous batch 2 order? I sent you the details in a PM yesterday, like you asked.
708  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Avalon ASIC Batch #2 Sales Update (Last Updated 2013-02-12 17:56 EST) on: February 14, 2013, 09:09:24 AM
Still would a confirmation email stating ordered goods and the correct delivery address be too much to ask for?

Certainly not when you send someone 1500-4500$.
709  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: A letter from Avalon on: February 13, 2013, 08:11:20 PM

All partially paid orders from 2012-02-02 have a deadline of 2013-02-13 17:00 EST to complete payment. All orders which have not been paid in full will be refunded to the sending address unless otherwise instructed. Payment instructions can be obtained and return addresses can be given to WalletBit support at http://support.walletbit.com.

Please contact WalletBit support immediately.

How does that help? I've sent you emails, opened support tickets and sent you multiple PMs only to receive no response.

That is a pure lie. Otherwise prove it with a support ticket number. Walletbit has helped at least a dozen people I know with the Avalon Asic order now. Does spread lies.

Why would I lie about this?  Huh
I never even received a confirmation email for the ticket submitted to them. Trying to log in to their system to see the status of the ticket fails. Attempting to change the password fails (I get a new password and trying to log in with it fails).

The only acknowledgement I ever received was in a PM from bob:

For security reasons we cannot discuss order details on Bitcointalk. Your email should have created a support ticket in our system but if it didn't please submit a ticket to http://support.walletbit.com/ and we will make sure to look into your request."

I answered this one as well and never received a response.

None of my mails to their support email ever received a response. Not even an automated response. Same for the support ticket I created on their site.

I'm fucking sick of dealing with this crap.

Really??? This is news to me. I've had a partial payment open with then, and have received ZERO replies to my Avalon support ticket nor emails. Seriously guys you have like 100-200 people to respond to, 1 day should be plenty to handle this.

This means that you will not hear from us regarding your order until the day prior of it being loaded onto a plane heading to your country of destination. No news is good news. We apologize for this, and we do not expect this situation to change until batch three is in its production to shipping stage.

Then why has NO ONE from batch #1 been notified?

They told us nothing about the orders from batch 2 (confirmation emails).
No one knows, if his order was successful.

...

What is with the orders from Batch 1?
Why does no one have their tracking id?

That really needs to be addressed. Is our BTC sitting in a blackhole or has it been correctly taken as an order? I know some people are concerned that they've paid for other people's orders because the shopping cart software was so fucked up and showing random people's names and addresses. Without a confirmation, Avalon is just causing undue stress on its customers. Listen, you (Avalon) fucked up. You need to address it. Man up and resolve this open issue.

Seriously. I've never paid 4500$ for anything without receiving ANY sort of feedback what so ever. 10 days and counting.

What about those of us who have sent the full sum and have not received either a refund or a confirmation?
714  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Walletbit, please refund my Avalon asic order on: February 12, 2013, 09:57:59 PM
Why? They asked for payment in BTC, are holding it hostage as far as I'm concerned, and I'm asking for it in return. Doing anything else but returning the exact sum at this point would be shameful.

715  Economy / Service Discussion / Walletbit, please refund my Avalon asic order on: February 12, 2013, 07:19:33 PM
I'm posting this in the main forum because I believe the behavior of this service provider in this case is in the interest of the entire community.

***

Short description of the situation (further details can be found in this thread and others in the Custom Hardware mining forum):

Avalon began their batch 2# ASIC sale 10 days ago and used Walletbit as the payment processor. At the checkout and payment stage, Walletbit displayed an incorrect amount to be paid (~0.05BTC).
Some of us chose to submit this payment at this stage as "proof" that they were there for the sale and for the chance of being allowed to complete the payment at a later time. This arrangement was later approved by both Avalon and Walletbit (see linked thread).

I have sent 225BTC for 3 devices to the address provided at the checkout stage as instructed

Since then, I have not received any confirmation, either from Avalon or Walletbit. It's been many days since initiating this transaction and there has been no direct communication with me from either party.

A lot has happened since that time and I find myself in urgent need of that money. I would not ask for it if there was any sign of life from either party as I would stand behind this transaction, but since there has not been any communication what so ever and since you have committed to refunding everyone who's been involved in the Avalon sale fiasco, I ask that you send the amount of BTC I sent to you in return.

Hoping for a quick resolution of this.

Thanks for reading.

bittenbob, if the order is fully paid, you generally don't answer now?

We have answered all tickets pertaining to Avalon orders. If you have an unanswered ticket please PM me the ticket ID and I will look into it for you.

Once the order is paid in full it is generally the merchants responsibility for order fulfillment. We will however look into whether your order was paid if you contact us.

Still no reply to me.
717  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Kano vs Bitsyncom on: February 09, 2013, 04:53:42 PM
Dear Yifu,

I am sorry to derail this thread, but after not seeing you active anywhere else on the forums for many days, I am going to grab your attention here:
Can you PLEASE confirm the orders that have been paid for in batch #2? There are those of us who have paid in full for them last week already and have received neither a reply from Walletbit nor from Avalon.

I appreciate that you are dealing with many things at the moment, but surely you realize that many of us have sent you thousands of dollars and have been not received any sign of life from anyone and that this is inconsiderate of your customers.

Thanks.

(My Avalon ticket is #224)

Seems that most of us didn't.

I don't think anyone's heard from either Avalon or Walletbit for the past day++.

I find it hard to believe anyone who ever received an academic grant has such shitty English.
