When will pasc hit 0.01 btc
i hope pasc could be 0,01 btc and become favorite again

more chances of pascal lite hitting 0.01btc currently 1300 sats

is there any valuable difference between pascal and pascal lite or lite – is just full clone?

current marketcap for pascal is $1.2million pascal lite is $7000. development is going on and features will be released can't say when. 0.01btc likely on pascal lite given they have 770k coins only

I'm new to Pascalite ...what are these accounts and the benefit ?

Thanks is advance for your reply

An account is the same as a "wallet address" with other coins.  PascalLite uses account numbers which are shorter and easier to remember than those long wallet addresses other coins use.

You need an account to be able to send/receive PASL.  In the beginning, accounts are received for mining blocks of PASL. Now traders want accounts to trade PASL, so in theory, you can make supplemental income selling accounts although it may be better to give accounts away to encourage traders at this point.

I guess since I bought some on Cryptopia I have an account...?

Payload Id
136a9312d90efe60d8d835ed09327afbcffa74ba41171cb2c20f588e21c273a6
Acc# 5-70

No that is cryptopia account. that payload id is like your wallet address.

you send your coins to the account number 5-70

IMPORTANT add your payload id, check dont encrypt box and then send coins to exchange.

to receive accounts you need to provide your public key

Yes currently accounts are basically wallet addresses but with more development i hope to see other uses

Current market cap

$34,000 lol

I'm new to crypto currency. I expected that it all was bases on p2p. But I can't see much p2p in connection with the mining. Only some few pools make all the coins.

The first versions of PascalCoin had a build in CPU miner so all the running wallets was mining. It was actually p2p. I really wonder why this feature first was disabled and later removed completely. I don't know if Pascal Lite ever had this miner

I think it would be much better to let the common users do the mining and to keep the pools out. That's of course just my opinion. But I really don't like that a lot of money and electricity is wasted  on pool mining. Could we somehow change the Proof of Work to something more equal and lesser wastefull?

Cpu mining is usually only a viable option at the very beginning of a coin . Gpuminers will be build and they are often dozens of times more powerful than cpumining. Gpu miners werenŽt probably programmed/ready in the beginning of Pascalcoin but they were when PascalLite was launched, naturally.

The advantage of pools is that it reduces ones variance. If you were to mine with just one gpu for example a coin with a high global hashrate, youŽd have to be very lucky to find a block and to make any coins at all. Lets say that with one gpu youŽd find 1 block/week on average. It would be very possible for you to mine for a couple of months without getting rewarded at all as you might not find a block. When you mine with a pool you get some coins all the time as the pools high hashrate finds blocks a plenty and the rewards are shared among the miners.

If you want to earn coins without spending alot of electricity you might be interested in looking into staking, where you stake coins to make more coins. Ethereum is moving to proof-of-stake for example...

Great to check Cryptopia soon by the way!

Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into proof-of-stake and other alternative solutions.

I think another option could be masternodes

Now that you mentioned it. staking is not bad. it can build value for accounts as youl need one to stake. not bad mate

Pascal coin had miners because no pools would take it. it was only after poloniex add pools got involved. decentalization people can do what they want, look at nanopool it's taken over majority of hashrate on some coins nothing can be done, it's their choice

survival of the fittest and nanopool and plenty of muscle just hope they don't point hash here. would be great if ocminer opened a pool for us.
