I hope this doesn't turn into another MTGOX
243  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jail or Hell? Confess of my life. on: October 15, 2014, 04:19:03 PM
First of all- Do Not Kill Yourself over this. I have done time myself, and at one point in time was facing up to 51 years. At that point in my life I contemplated suicide myself rather than snitching on somebody above me. But I didn't end up doing either of those options, and today I'm so thankful that I did not actually go through with that myself.

Second- What country are you located in? I think that will make a big difference in whether or not you will have a fair chance at fighting this in court.
You will obviously be wanting to hire a good lawyer(s), though do not rush into that. The way you worded it it honestly sounds like yourself "hacking" into 45,000 Google Play accounts was not really intentional, especially because you said you used your government ID + name on it. I think you and your lawyer will really want to focus on showing that there was no malicious intent when it came to accessing users' accounts, and that you happened to stumble into them only while researching technology/programming to aid you in developing apps. I would Definitely avoid the use of the word "Spy" in the courtroom when describing the app you were working on; pretty much any other word than "Spy" would sound much better for you. You could say that your app being developed was for parents to keep track of their children for safety purposes, all sorts of uses like that could be thought up.

Also- take any advice given by members of this forum with a grain of salt. If you are still considering something crazy like suicide, please PM me and I will try to help you out with this as much as I can. You can PM from your real account or this one, I will not spread your private issues.

Good luck,
and Keep Your Head Up,
snarlpill

Thank you for all your good words and advice, I'll definitely do what you said, as I said I hadn't bad intention never. Also I'll send a pm to tell you my country. Thanks again.

Am I not understanding the post properly? You made an app that spies on people, presumably without their permission? This is a serious charge, especially since people store so much sensitive and personal information on their phones these days. But the lawyers are telling you that you're facing 36 years? That doesn't sound like it matches the crime, so are we missing some important details here?

Also, everyone is telling you to run or whatever. How about if you broke the law and violated people's privacy, you man up and accept the consequence of your actions? I'm not sure what good confessing on a forum anonymously does. If you were sorry, you would apologize to your victims and the judge and accept responsibility for the wrongs you have committed and the people you violated.

I've made that app and push a beta version of it to Google Play. After 1 days I deleted them because I want to see if it's working. I saw 100-200 downloads and a lot of error report, so I didn't even continue to project. After a month happened the police stuff.

Also thanks to everyone who suggests idea. I don't think people will donate/tip a "hacker, guilty", but it worth try.
PM me maybe I can help you
244  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in cosmic karma, or do you subscribe to causality? on: October 15, 2014, 05:21:00 AM
Do you subscribe to (direct) causality or do you believe the cosmos will (indirectly) punish you for attaining bad karma and reward you for good karma?

I believe in causality. If you are a nice person, you likely give off good vibes. This doesn't mean bad things won't happen to you. It just means other people are more likely to be nice to you. If you are a nasty individual, you probably give off bad vibes. This doesn't mean good things won't happen to you. It just means other people are more likely not going to be inclined to help you and instead avoid you altogether. For example, if you are a nice person and your neighbor is a dick, a falling meteor isn't going to magically hit his house instead of yours because you have good karma. Subsequently, if you enjoy putting kittens in the microwave to watch them pop, this doesn't mean you won't get a full scholarship because you have bad karma.

People generally like to reciprocate. It is simply cause and effect, action/reaction, otherwise it is simply in their nature (including all life and even inanimate objects) to be a certain way. Two unrelated things aren't going to react to one another due to some imaginary cosmic force. People and things react towards one another mostly in direct correlation to actions or lack there of taken by either party. If you're nice to people they will be nice to you in turn. If you're nasty they won't be nice and may even feel you deserve some form of punishment. Furthermore, if you act like a victim a bully will appear. It doesn't matter to the bully whether you are nice or not. You are simply a victim that needs to be taken advantage of, much in the same way a lion attacks a deer when it sees its hind quarters. The deer acts like prey and the lion reacts and attacks instinctively. In the movie, The Matrix, the Merovingian takes this concept to the extreme and suggests that there is even no such thing as choice or free will. I'm inclined to agree.

What do you believe?
Does karma exist in the sense of some cosmic scale weighing the good and bad deeds you do, consequently rewarding good deeds and punishing bad ones?
Or...
Is it simply causality, cause and effect, action/reaction?

Bonus question. What do you think of the Merovingian's philosophy of choice and free will being an illusion between those with power and those without?

If you do "bad" things. Then there will be more "bad" things in the universe you exist in.
If you do "good" Thing. Then there will be more "good" thing in the universe you exist in.

The universe is a closed system. More positive energy in the system means less negative energy.
This is to balance out. Only so much energy an exist in closed system.

However there is no direct cause and effect. Bad people can have good days.
But bad people are more likely to have a bad life in general.
Probability is always a factor. Variety is the spicy of life.
There always will be a bad person who had a good life.
And a good person who had a bad life.

This is why we made up heaven. To confront the fact that good people can have horrible lives.
And this is why we made up hell. To confront the fact that bad people can have excellent lives.

You would rather spend half your life locked away then hide from the truth? If he was a fucking serial killer that's 1 thing but spying on someone and running from the feds isn't something that will traumatize you for the rest of your life, atleast more than being in jail would.

If you can't do the time, don't do the crime. He victimized people. He should go to prison. This isn't the government unreasonably overreaching and imprisoning someone cuz they're evil thugs. This is the government fulfilling one of its legitimate functions and protecting the people he made victims through his unjustified invasions of privacy. 36 years for coding a spy app doesn't sound like the full story though. I wouldn't be surprised if he's left out some other crimes related to this incident in his "confession"/cry for sympathy.

Ok lets say he is the one who created this "spy app"
Was he storing the "hacked" data for personal gain?
Or did he just create a tool for others to do that.
Is he responsible for the actions of the others who used his app?

If I make a knife and you kill someone. Am I responsible?
If I make a spy app and you spy? Am I responsible?

The government actively spies on you and me.
How dare you beat them at their game and make the tools they have, readily available to the public.
I say we should let the floodgates out. The government should not be responsible for protecting your private data.
You should be. It's very possible to take your privacy in your own hands. We have many tools at our disposal.

Just food for thought.

36 Years! Holy shit you'll be dead way before that. Don't go to court that is just nuts. The judge will not forgive you, they see you as a number, next.. you'll get time. I couldn't imagine what a 3rd world jail will be like. Just think you'll be in there with murderers and rapists. You will get fucked in the ass. For sure! Probably on a regular basis since you are young (I'm guessing this since you are a student)

Run, its the only sensible option. Take the 60K and buy BTC. You can use that anywhere. Buy fake ID and get a job in another country. Start a new life. Get a girlfriend, make some kids and forget about the past.

Good luck.

Honestly do it...
You will be better off.

248  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jail or Hell? Confess of my life. on: October 13, 2014, 05:52:30 PM

One day I decided to make a "spy" app for android, I thought I can sell it to celebrities/husbands etc. I was testing the app in a hosting that I registered even with my goverment identity ID, I loved that company so much until polices came to my house and took all electrical devices(including a mp3 player), because "I hacked 45000 user in Google Play" and "stole /store their private datas/photos" etc...

I was so regret because I though that idea, because I trusted a lot of to a company that I spent a few hundred dollars, because I was so stupid/fool/idiot <insert your insults> ... My court is in a few months. Probably I will get 36 years according to lawyers.

Also I'm seeing I got about 60k$ in my bank account, never paid taxes.
What now?
I'm staying in a student dorm, I have 3k$ left in my PayPal account. A few dollar in my pocket too.

Maybe judge forgives me, but I will never forgive myself and I will commit suicide before court or run away from country.

And a big thanks to all forum users who read "my life", as I said, I just want to confess.

Goodbye.

I feel for you. You are clearly a smart person.
And I commend you for your successes. Although short lived.
But the state will always finds a way to bring people down.

I suggest you try to get the best defence team you can.
And NEVER talk to the authorities. They do not want to help you.
They want to incriminate you. Anything you do or say will be used against you.

Also chance are you going to get a judge that's technologically impaired like the rest of them.
These people liken sharing music or a movie to stealing...

Secondly if you are convicted... You will be force to live in the dark ages.
You will be banned from any and all electronic device. Even ones that don't have internet access.

My advice is don't worry... Not that this isn't something to worry about.
But the stress this will cause you is unresourceful. Get grounded and plan your steps.
I suggest setting up a bitcoin tip jar to help fund your defences.
Get the best legal team you can find. Ask loved ones to help you and loan you money for a defence.
And even if you lose the case. Have your defence ready to appeal the case to the higher courts.

"Jail or Hell?"
I say chose life. This the only one we got. And your only real choice.
Jail is just the physical manifestation of hell if you think about.
Us human invented jail because actual hell doesn't exist.
This is because "good" people have sick desire to "punish" evil.
And I am no exception. But I recognize those desires as evil.
If I followed through with my desires I would be no better than the state.

Just remember...

You will never be alone my friend.
You will always have those who love you.
Stay strong and fight on.
The state can cage you like an animal.
But your mind and spirit will always be free.

Love,
Meccaflare0

Volume is nice on Bittrex right now. Roughly 50 BTC
Market cap is only a mere $ 255,077. Price per coin is like 40 cents or 110k Satoshi.
Relative to other coins, Fibre should have a market cap around $600,000~$800,000
Making the price per coin like 400k Satoshi or $1.6 per coin (relative to BTC's current price)

so is good invest in fibre now? i have 100 and i want buy more  Wink
I have been buying fibre since it was 10k satoshi.  My only regret is not buying 15k fibre. I would've liked to get on the fibre board Wink

very luck Sad any chance for fibre go to 1000k?Tongue

Bitcoindark started bittrex trading from 10ksat 2 month ago. Now the price is 1000-1200 ksat stable

1) Look at BTCD with 1200k total coins amount
2) Look at FIBRE with 600k total coins amount
3) Think a little and draw conclusions. Be happy Wink

but fibre is not mineable....

It will be mineable again when multipool is up
What is the time line on the multipool? I really want to start mining.

Multipool operator has to extend his bandwidth for us and review us in details for some time

It depends on him when we are added

Can`t give You any timeline

You can also tweet him to speed up the process https://twitter.com/_xpool_
I've mined with xpool before. They are a good honest pool. I just tweeted them and i hope others do too Wink

Hit 100k already. Still undervalued though. Market cap is only a mere $ 227,192

Fibre is about to hit a new all time high, which gives me the opportunity to leave the following message.
Some weeks ago, i was watching 2 coins, halcyon and fibre. I had some questions about why i should buy and i tested which coin was better by the response i got from the dev's, which are nearly always the most important aspect of a coin. At halcyon they told me, just put it on the bitcointalk thread i dont have time. At fibre they told me everything i wanted to know and within 5 minutes 3/4 devs had said somethting to me.
Now what choice did i make? Both coins were 45k satoshi per coin, on average. I bought Fibre, ofcourse, what did this lead to?
Fibre trades now around 76k satoshi, halcyon trades at 17k satoshi.

Conclusion: if people have good contact with the guys that develop their investment, they gain trust and want to encourage them, which leads to great development and daily personal updates.

Just my 76k satoshi.

Fibre will break some great borders this next week, cheers.

My thoughts exactly, I have been playing around with some numbers and imho this coin should have a price of 200k Satoshi. Current trends suggests that it's only a matter of time.
