1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: coinsbit.io has taken all my funds without any explanation, looks like SCAM on: May 26, 2020, 03:22:43 PM
A small update: my balances are still 0, support keeps answering like "Dear user, our team will solve your problem soon and we will send you a message when it will be solved."
2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: coinsbit.io has taken all my funds without any explanation, looks like SCAM on: April 03, 2020, 09:07:36 AM
@ OP

You already have a thread open regarding coinsbit stealing your ETH: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5166605

Why did you deposit more crypto there after you were scammed the first time round? Please explain.
The topic you mentioned is about p2pb2b, not coinsbit.
Coinsbit still doesn't have a "red flag" here - my case is a good reason to put it.
3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: coinsbit.io has taken all my funds without any explanation, looks like SCAM on: March 31, 2020, 04:21:45 PM
This seems to be an expanding trend with this exchange.

They are selectively scamming vulnerable users when they think they can get away with it.

If you can provide a few more screenshots of your conversations with them, I will show you how to open a flag against this exchange in order to inform new users of their behavior.

Your last conversation with them was pretty recent. If they don't get back to you within a week, let us know.
Hello.
Thank you, I've already created the red flag for them.
I've posted screenshots of all conversations with them at the moment. I will make an update of the situation in 1 week.
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / coinsbit.io has taken all my funds without any explanation, looks like SCAM on: March 30, 2020, 01:07:01 PM
What happened:
I was coinsbit.io exchange user since Sep 2019.

I've passed their KYC and was trading via API.

On 09th of Feb 2020 I've tried to log in into my coinsbit.io account and got this error: "Your account has been blocked".

I've emailed to support (support@coinsbit.io) and got this answer (translated from Russian):
Quote
Good afternoon! Your account is being checked by the security service, please wait.

After this I've messaged several times to support@coinsbit.io to clarify the reason for "security check", and received this answer on 16th of Feb (translated from Russian):
Quote
Hello. The team deals with your issue. Thanks for waiting.

On 17th of Mar 2020 I've tried to log into account one more time, and this time there was no error. After successful log in I've noticed that 2FA was deactivated, and all balances are 0.
There were no trades and withdrawals in "History" since 09th Feb 2020, so exchange just simply take away my funds.
I've messaged support again via on-site ticket system and got this answer:
Quote
Dear user, please provide also screenshot of your problem on our email support@coinsbit.io
I've did as support told me and still got no answer )

Just a quick follow-up regarding my issue with p2pb2b (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5166605.0):
They've unblocked my account, but about 70% of my funds are "frozen", so I can't make a withdrawal. Support is not responding (surprise, surprise).
6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: p2pb2b.io has blocked my account without any explanation, looks like SCAM on: July 27, 2019, 11:35:00 AM
Yes, my account has been unblocked.

At the moment there is an issue with locked balances. I hope support will help me faster than in 3 weeks)

I would like to thank bitcointalk community for their support!

In your opinion do you think these scammers deserve a pat on the back now they unlocked your account? In my opinion they selectively scammed you but did not expect the backlash.

They froze your account from 1st July to 18th July with next to nothing in real communication. You open a scam thread on the 4th day your account has been unlocked - that clearly shows they did it to minimise their negative publicity.
I guess they didn't expect me to put this matter on public, and "red flag" here was a good reason for them to unblock my account.

Hello, konungbarber.

Hope you are doing great as well.

Your account was blocked because of suspicious activity in the time of user's complaints about 2FA shutdown. Account is unlocked now because no violations were found. As apologies for long waiting, your trading fee will be lower for three months.
Hello.

Yes, I can confirm that account was unblocked.

So sad it took 3+ weeks and "red flag" here to solve this issue.

P.S. My 2FA was active when I've logged in after account unblock.

Please stop spread FUD.

Please understand that we are a regulated licensed institution and are bound by very strict AML/CFT regulation, internal compliance/AML procedures. Our procedures are registered by the regulator and not meeting them may cause criminal liability.
At certain circumstances we are forced to freeze accounts of users - it is the demand of law and it is how the regulated financial world works at a moment whether we like it or not.
Besides, as you understand, we can't share nor our correspondence with regulator nor process of the investigation nor the exact reasons for blocking the account.
It is the choice of each person to deal with regulated exchanges with compliance, AML, KYC demands or with not regulated who don't face such issues.
At a moment the issue, discussed in the topic, is solved. The account is unblocked.

I got almost the same as PM from p2pb2b.io. I would like to ask konungbarber to confirm if the issue was resolved.

@p2pb2b.io, you guys really need to communicate with your customers. If they are hard to handle then give them enough time, nurse them so that they understand you and leave you with this feeling that you have tried your best.
Yes, my account has been unblocked.

At the moment there is an issue with locked balances. I hope support will help me faster than in 3 weeks)

I would like to thank bitcointalk community for their support!

Thanks for bringing this up I just about deposit one of my coin listed in their exchange, I will have to find a new exchange for that coin, a flag should be created for this exchange if they have an official thread here.
The flag has been created and supported by forum members already)

Did the Coinsbit and P2PB2B scammers get back to you with an update?

These scammers have held on to your funds by blocking your account since 1st July 2019 and today is 19th July 2019.

I think they will release your funds very quickly because they never expected the flood of negative posts against them when they selective scammed you.

In the Coinsbit thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4971628.msg51871783#msg51871783) they are using 8 sock-puppet accounts, all Russian and recently changed email addresses (so they were purchased for the specific intention of pumping propaganda and generate fake buzz). They are: 1977Vlad, Crypto_Boss, Dorvei, kypbep, LilitKha, OmDaN, sashu, scherbachek

In this thread P2PB2B are trying to distance themselves from Coinsbit ensuring the sock-puppets do not participate here but their connections have already been exposed.
Still no reply from them.
11  Other / Meta / Re: Flag experience for newbie on: July 19, 2019, 08:14:26 AM
Dear all, thank you for clarification of this matter.

I've tried to put the correct "right red" flag, but made a mistake, unfortunately.

The phrase "Due to various concrete red flags, I believe that anyone dealing with this user has a high risk of losing money." seems like proper, and I didn't put attention to "This flag will only be shown to guests/newbies".

I just tried it using the test account created by theymos and it is working.
I created a flag type 1 then created a flag type 3 with no problems.

But what to do if you add a link to the wrong topic when creating the flag? How to edit the link knowing that you can't create a new flag.
In this case I will create a new flag with type 3.

Thanks again!

Your account was currently blocked for the security. Soon we will contact you by your email. Please wait!

I've sent message to legal@partida.io and got no answer.

I've also messaged at their Telegram "support" group and the only answer from admin was like "Please, wait, we will answer you".

On 16th July I've called to p2pb2b "office" (+3726026577) and got a conversation with operator regarding my issue. The only answer was "I will send information to our legal department, please wait for answer by email".

Today is 18th of July and I still got no reply from p2pb2b with explanations regarding block of my account.

Same story has just happened to me. Bitrue has frozen withdrawal at my account, and I've got this answer from support:
Quote
Our risk control system has detected some high suspicious behavior in your account so the withdraw feature is frozen.
We will investigate your case and get back to you.
I was trading via API according to exchange's orderbooks.
Looks like this exchange doesn't like users who are capable of making trading profits)

Hello, konungbarber

Thank you for you message.

Could you provide in PM your e-mail registered at p2pb2b.io, please?
Hello.

Could you please make official statement here regarding the matter of blocking accounts without any explanations? It will be useful for your future users.

I've already called your office several times, and operator just told me "Please wait, we will reply to you by email".

And still no reply.

Looks like an easy way for exchange to get extra "profit" from users - my account was holding about 0.15 BTC at the moment of blocking.

They are definitely scammers.
I have waited several days for withdrawal to be approved, then messaged the support, and after this they have blocked my account without any reasonable explanation:

This project is a SCAM.
They've closed accounts at Twitter, Facebook and support account at freshdesk.com.
They've increased min withdrawal amount in BTC to 0.05.
I am waiting for withdrawal for 2 weeks already. Support keeps silence.
