621  Other / Meta / Re: Why have waves announcement thread been locked? on: September 01, 2017, 10:48:30 AM
yes, I think the message from this moderator will answer it. "ATTENTION: Due to one of the in-thread bounties accepting entries via this thread (aka incentivising post, aka altcoin giveaway), this thread is locked. the "no on-forum altcoin giveaways" rule. " I think they violate the rules that have been given a moderator, so that the thread is locked.
622  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why transactions takes so long? on: September 01, 2017, 10:36:03 AM
because paypal transactions are not as much done bitcoin in a day (I mean the number of people who make transactions). the daily bitcoin transaction queue is overwhelming and booming. so if you want to speed up the transaction, you can choose a higher cost.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High transaction fee can be resolved? on: September 01, 2017, 10:30:20 AM
I think the rise in fees depends on the number of queues. so the more queues that make transactions at a time, then the fee will also rise. the other thing I think is maintenance. I'm sure, technology as big as blockchain would also require huge maintenance costs.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 01, 2017, 10:26:40 AM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

ha ha. I think it all depends on the government. because it is the government that holds everything, up the regulations and regulations that must be set in all circles. maybe the government is not yet 100% with bitcoin, so they prohibit the insertion of bitcoin materials to college or school.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people buy etc ? on: August 31, 2017, 03:52:58 PM
because they see the possibility to get profit from ETC. many people are fighting to use ethereum. ohh, why no one is using etc? maybe it's an opportunity for me to make a profit. it might be that way of thinking.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem Vs Facebook on: August 31, 2017, 03:49:55 PM
I think facebook will win. because facebook is better known and more familiar with everyone. although steem has a free feature that is not owned facebook, but here we see from the consumer interest. and we can see that many people who prefer facebook though have to pay.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: August 31, 2017, 03:43:13 PM
can they hack into our wallet. There are many professional hackers out there. What are the chances? Also what is the safest way to safeguard ourself?

Of course. a lot of hackers out there who can see the gaps or bugs of our wallet. we just hope that we are not a target of their goals. I think a lot of hackers are good and will not do dirty things like that. just a little advice, do not open the link carelessly before everything you have is true in a safe condition.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Discourage by our country. on: August 31, 2017, 03:39:08 PM
I think that's because the government in your country still thinks that bitcoin will be a threat because of an anonymous transaction. but judging from the other side, maybe bitcoin is not suitable to apply in your country (my country also not suitable). so the government must really think to make regulations to prevent any regrets and mistakes.
629  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo on: August 31, 2017, 03:28:31 PM
Better keep your Bitcoins on your local computer, it's much safer.
Or buy Rasberry Pi, install there Ubuntu with bitcoin wallet and store on this mini pc.

From my opinion its best answer , or if you want use wallet like a xapo i think better you use the blockchain.
Sorry for my bad english

yes, blockchain is good. but if it's a security issue I'd rather agree to using an offline wallet. because with an offline wallet, only we can access it. so the security is really guaranteed.
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the name of a Cryptocurrency determine its growth ? on: August 31, 2017, 03:25:36 PM
yes. if it can be a project trend, then the answer is correct. because the name will always be remembered. the easier it is to remember the name, the better. especially if the project is a huge success. the name of cryptocurrency becomes very vital.

632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you worried about the high Bitcoin price volatility at the moment? on: August 31, 2017, 03:05:29 PM
no. but for now I will keep all my bitcoins. and expect no transaction using bitcoin abruptly. for now we better hold our bitcoin and wait for the right time with a more stable price and more conducive situation.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: August 30, 2017, 09:53:15 AM
waves have potential but it can not dethrone ETH.
ETH have big connections and proper PR and waves lack here.

yes. I also agree. although waves have a very good development. but I think waves have not been able to beat ethereum here. ethereum has a large community and many project partners use ethereum as their technology.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: August 30, 2017, 09:49:30 AM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked

I thought it would not be possible. although the end of this bitcoin is very popular as a tool of global transactions, with all the ease. paper money will never lose because they have more trust as a means of transactions from various people in this world.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make ‘Buy Bitcoin’ Sign Appears Everywhere! on: August 30, 2017, 09:41:32 AM
"Buy Bitcoin" sign appearred again today.

Buy Bitcoin’ Sign Appears During DOTA International Tournament
https://cointelegraph.com/news/buy-bitcoin-sign-appears-during-dota-international-tournament

"Bitcoin made an unplanned appearance at the most recent DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) International Tournament, as an audience member held up a ‘Buy Bitcoin’ sign during announcements of the televised event.

Bitcoin has been frequently popping up in unlikely locations.  The current stunt, intended to increase awareness of Bitcoin, is not the first of its kind, after an audience member at Janet Yellen’s congressional briefing did the same.

Both events indicate a growing awareness of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies generally. The awareness may be part of the reason for the substantial price increases over recent months, with Bitcoin cresting $3700 today.

"

I expect more signs will pop up in sport events and many other places.  It is a way to promote Bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies.

ha ha. I also saw that. I think with writing like that would have a very big effect on bitcoin. because a lot of people around the world know about bitcoin just because "a piece of writing" behind the caster. not bad and very nice.
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE BEST BITCOIN WALLET on: August 30, 2017, 09:39:11 AM
I think electrum is a good choice. I also recommend the offline wallet and bitcoin-core itself as an option. You can choose it. they're all good and I think it's pretty safe as a bitcoin wallet.
637  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: August 30, 2017, 09:33:41 AM
Asked before I'm sure.

What ya think?

we can not decide now because bitcoin is still growing. and one more thing, we can not predict market movement. so to determine the last bitcoin price is very difficult and almost impossible.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone bought up all the existing bitcoins? on: August 30, 2017, 09:19:55 AM
Maybe in 2012 there are people who are able to buy all the existing bitcoin. but for now (in 2017) I think it's a very expensive thing. even though it's bill gates. now the price per 1 bitcoin is about $ 4588.77 and even then it can go up again. so I guess for now it will not be possible.
639  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin so the main choice on: August 30, 2017, 09:11:39 AM
why are many people willing to drop their jobs and prefer to focus more on the world of crypto like bitcoin?

wow. if I'm even better to choose both. although bitcoin is very beneficial, we do not know what will happen to bitcoin sometime in the future. so even though with big profits, I will not leave my real-world job for bitcoin.
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin huge fees on: August 30, 2017, 09:08:52 AM
I think that's a natural thing because now the volume of bitcoin transactions per day also increased rapidly. so they will charge a larger fee for maintenance fees.
