I don't know about the prediction, but I like the reasoning about bitcoin put down by the guy. It is almost the reason why I am long bitcoin.

I hope he's right but I don't see this happening. IMO $70k-$100k max....

I did not expect the times that banks are more bullish than WO posters on btc to come around that fast....  Cheesy

LOL, elite bankers will be on here soon with newb accounts calling anyone a Beartard who thinks the moon is less than 200k.

as I noted in an earlier post
 { https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg55491561#msg55491561 }

the  best streak of above 12,584

was from 2017-12-06 to 2018-01-15  that was 41 days

so 26 down and 15 to go.

This will be a really nice streak to break.

If we stay hot we break the streak on Dec. 2, 2020

so 2020-12-02 here we come.

We also are developing a second streak Nov 1 on is above 13545

we have never had a full month from day one stay above 13000. I for one want to see both things happen.

and we are unfolding a third streak more on that later."

I am quoting and altering my post from yesterday.

I want to talk about the third streak that is opening up.  BTC never had 12 days in a row over 15000

Below is the longest 15k+ streak

2017-12-21  16,033
2017-12-20  16,724
2017-12-19  17,986
2017-12-18  18,634
2017-12-17  19,110
2017-12-16  18,430
2017-12-15  17,334
2017-12-14  16,351
2017-12-13  16,434
2017-12-12  16,854
2017-12-11  16,293.    11 days in a row.

note I get all my stats from the following thread.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=138109.msg1472141#msg1472141

I have been using his data to show these streaks.

So we have 3 streaks going

1) 12854 +. is at 23 days and closing in on the 41 day streak from dec 2017 to jan 2018

2) we have a 7 day 15000+ streak closing in on the 11 day streak from dec 11 2017  to dec 21 2017

3) and our Nov 1 to Nov 15 streak above 13000 is  tied with the  longest streak from the beginning of the month above 13000. Jan 1 2018 to Jan 15 2018 is also first place.

I will get back to this at night.  We need to keep this up!

So updates.

3) if we stay over 13000 until Nov 16 we break the best beginning steak ever for any month.       15 days is old record.   1 day to break this record.  we did tie it!!

2) We should stay over 15,000 by closing which will bring us to 10 in a row over 15k                     11 days is old record.   2 days to break this record

1) we have a 26 day streak over 12584. -----------------------------------------------------------  old record is 41 days.        15 days and counting

I assume hope we are good for the 15th and just kept it up.

So you are saying Monday we should all eat a steak and post a picture and then moon?  Smiley

I am planning to cook skirt steaks for sunday when we tie the streak. Monday when we break the streak/steak I will be making brisket with potatos and riced cauliflower.  With a vanilla vodka iced tea whipped cream float. Garnished with a bit of flaked chocolate on top.

We just need 2 days I will photo the dinner just for you as your streak/steak post was funny.

Just sitting down to my skirt steak dinner. MMMM.

And  we did tie the day 1 of the month streak over 13,000 today yeah btc!

 Yummm..... moon soon.

Basically the graph plots a bubble when some bitcoin land on a whale portfolios (>10K BTC) and it is NOT spent afterward.
The size of the bubble il the size of the purchase.

This graph smell like FOMO

Golden Bull Run confirmed. HODL.

I think a new all time high by Thanksgiving is in the cards.

That would mean lots of "I told you so's" to many nocoiner family members.

This would cause massive FOMO from nocoiner family members and should get us to 24k by Christmas.

This would be a reasonable overshoot of Hairy's fractal.

Bitcoin seems to be responding well to Trump losing. Probably bc Trump openly stated he wasnt a fan and it was backed by nothing and that he told his Treasury Secretary to "go after Bitcoin."

Also his top economic advisor Larry Kudlow dislikes Bitcoin. I believe the market is signaling that Biden will be friendlier to our Lord and Savior King Bitcoin.

Also it seems to be bullish for assets when the media is too preoccupied with Trump being a sore loser to promote their coronasniffles hype and try to scare everyone non stop about a disease not much deadlier than the flu.

Actually, it is likely that the potential policies of Trump (to the extent that you could refer to them as policies) would be more friendly to bitcoin, but the fact of the matter seems to be that bitcoin does not give any shits about the president, including whether a Biden administration (to the extent that he is lucid at all) might be more hostile to bitcoin than the red headed self-absorbed twat... by the way, Lambie.. you would likely get along better with Trump, no?   Both of you seem to have strong exaggeration inclinations, no?

BREAKING: Biden expected to hire bitcoin-friendly, Gary Gensler, to help oversee Wall Street

What... you thought it was an exaggeration when I said how boring your text walls can be?  Cheesy

As far as getting along better with the red headed man you refer too, you would likely get along better with Trump, no?

Both of you seem to have strong self-absorbed inclinations, no? Non stop tweets for one and non stop text walls for the other. You two have a lot in common.  Wink

I think maybe people are sending corn to exchanges in the anticipation of a potential dump as a reaction to the election results. Maybe if Trump wins they won’t dump but if Old Joe wins they’ll sell into a potential dump.

Either way, whatever. I’m selling nothing!

IDK..

I am not especially for the old Biden.. But hard to see Trump win again.

Put a 5K$ gambling bet on BIDEN at 1.45. Will see   Grin

I bet on Biden too. Wont mind losing as my taxes will be lower if/when I finally sell some coins. Win, win.  Smiley

Either guy will print tons of money so Bitcoin wins no matter what.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-just-4-days-away-from-historically-bullish-10k-price-record

"Bitcoin (BTC) has spent nearly 100 days above $10,000 — and if history repeats itself, further price gains could be astronomical.

As noted by various social media users this week, as of Oct. 30, Bitcoin was just five days away from trading above $10,000 for 100 days.

BTC price closes in on 100 days at $10,000
According to data from analytics firm CoinMetrics compiled by Twitter user Julio Moreno, after trading above certain price points specifically for 100 days, Bitcoin subsequently gained by an order of magnitude.

For example, after staying above $10 for 100 days, it took just 122 days for BTC/USD to reach $100. After cracking 100 days above $100, meanwhile, $1,000 appeared in just two days.

Looking at the difference between $1,000 and $10,000, the time period was longer — 150 days to crack five figures after trading at four figures for 100 days."
