At some point (I have not yet figured out in what principle it happens) wallet stops to auto-split blocks, but vice versa - collects all blocks in one big block. All the small blocks in my wallet again formed one large block. If this happens with all wallets, it explains the current blocks delay.
We need to add ''splitthreshold'' command just like TruckCoin has. I think noise23(TRK Dev) can help with that, as he helped with a TekCoin wallet.
Simple interim solution . staking never combines coins on different addresses .. so just keep them on separate addresses ..  I need to do that as well .. Yeah, I thought about it. But if you have 2000 coins, then you will need 100 addresses to divide them into blocks of 20 coins or 50 addresses for blocks of 40 coins. |

Something I've been really interested in is pruning off a large portion of Blocks after a certain period. The thing I notice with older CryptoCurrencies is that after 1-2 years the amount of data the Blockchain holds is quite large, especially if there is a lot of activity. Typical growth for most Coins is in the neighborhood of 500 MB - 1GB a year but if it was REALLY popular and handled a lot of transactions then it could be upwards of 5 BG a year, now this may not seem like a huge amount of growth but most people hold lots of different types of Coins AND you need to sync all those Blocks so 20 different types of Coins is a lot of space! What I was thinking with this was something along the lines of the CLAMS distribution such as where you would take all the unspent addresses into a new Genesis and kill off the old chain, as it is though that would also create 2 distinct chains so then how could it be done where you could do that automatically and always keep the size of the Blockchain within a limit?
Yeah, it's known problem of all most popular coins. The problem is not only in a disk space, but also in the wallet launch & sync time. The bigger blockchain, the more time is required to start & sync. Fresh (new) blockchain at the beginning of each year would make life easier. |

Sadly, Aricoin is dead. So don't hope for a reply.
For months and months I saw the developer working night and day to do things to improve the position of the coin: change coin name, add block explorer, and get listed on Cryptsy. I've never seen anyone work so hard to get their coin listed on Cryptsy; the coin was in first position for what seemed like months. Most of the work was done by one person, it's a shame that the community didn't provide more support. I've translated the thread to French, so I have contribuated to Aricon, but my money never came to my address. Same here. |

It is good that the developer has not abandoned the coin, and still continues to support the coin. I would advise to organize the bounties for a different kind of community activities. For example, for the logo, site updates, translations into other languages, for the vote on the exchanges, retweets, FB likes, etc. Some good effect will be from translations, as this will increase the number of members of the community. It will not cost a lot of money, and generate good PR effect. Also, it will revive this topic, which is also important. |

If the network is running, and there is at least one exchange, then the coin is still alive.

BTW, there are 2 versions of the wallet: a simple and anonymous. Somebody has audit the anonymity?

Looks like no one wants to sell FIRE, I would prefer to give a good % of my FIRE (a trusted project that FIRE might be able to help) & am just waiting for that moment to come. Could be weeks/months or could be years, might never happen & is all part of the experiment of crypto. As you see on most threads, these experiments are mostly based on community & we could spend 1000's of hours which in turn might get us no where, or become something great? I'm not the best at reaching out, wish that was a great skill of mine & just isn't one of them. Will try from time to time, but that just doesn't add up to someone who excels at it & having that is a must to be something great. Thank you guys for your hard work!
