" I have an idea for Horizon HZ that I think is interesting, this is not approved or official, and maybe everyone will love it or hate it, this is just an idea I want to bring to everyone to see what they think of it. The idea is a weekly 1 million Horizon Distribution, or "Lottery," based on the Rich List, or the top 100 holders. (Excluding Blocknet obviously or any Bounty distribution account - just individuals that hold Horizon in the top 100)
Each week there would be some provably fair drawing for 1 million Horizon, there might not be the means to fund it, but I think a live video of real lottery balls being mixed up and drawn out would be the most fun. (Harder to prove fair, or would that be easier?) Short of that, some cryptographic provably fair method that is 100% trusted. Ideally with at least some sort of fun visuals that people could tune in and watch.
In my opinion this would give incentive for people to want to be in the top 100 holders, part of the top 100 rich list. As we are a small community and low priced coin/platform, this is pretty easy to do at this point. Technically this should be very easy to be certain of the top 100 people. Maybe this would incentivize people to buy more to stay in the top 100, get in the top 100, especially on the lower end to get into the top 100. (More demand, and more fun?!)
Four winners a month is a lot, and those people would likely be very loyal to Horizon once they had a big giveaway like that. Word of mouth could get around. My idea was that this is taken out of the monthly bounties. I have not asked Nick Cote or anyone on the team about it, but I am sure sending it to four addresses a month would not be a difficult task. Now, if previous winners should be excluded or not, I am not sure, or if team members should not be included, not sure, but perhaps everyone should be incentivized to want to stay or get in the top 100? What does everything think, great idea, terrible? Thoughts? "

That will depend on what you have in liquid assets.

Look at it this way, lets say at the current prices, you have $1000 worth of bitbay (like 10 million coins). And lets say that after the fork, we do 90/10 split.

So, you will only have 1,000,000 coins liquid and 9,000,000 in reserves.

IF we vote for inflation at 1%, then you will be able to spend 1% of the 9 million. If the vote is for 1% deflation then you will be able to spend 99% of the 1 million and the 1% deflation will be forced back as change to the same wallet sending and will be tagged as reserve.

You have only 1/10th of the coins liquid that at the original price would be worth only 100 dollars (assuming the price doesnt move). BUT the supply being reduced can cause the price to increase. Thus, lets say for example your 10 million coins will be worth $10,000 because of the reduced supply. Therefore you have exacly the same amount liquid as you had previously total. Since 1/10th of 10,000 is 1,000.

So, if you did sell the $1,000 worth of coins after the fork, you would have to wait for inflation to access the 90% reserves.

Interesting. Price is now at 0.0032+ and still going up it looks like. We're already at a 50%+ increase with almost 40 BTC in buy orders!

It would help a bunch if videos played smoothly on the the site, I literally have to wait like 5-10 minutes sometimes to watch a video. which makes it no point to share the videos because people will never sit and wait that long or give the site a second chance, so I'm waiting to push the site till it's smoother so it can make a better first impression on new users.

 Для ASUS HD7870 я использовал такие частоты : GPU - 924, Memory - 1250. TC - 15232. При интенсивности 20 это давало 400 кхэш. Это для Asus, для других брендов возможно надо подгонять частоты.. А по поводу интенсивности, там можно букву "d" использовать, режим динамической интенсивности, будет автоматически освобождать ресурс ГПУ по мере необходимости. Подробности - в мануалах и в README CGMINER'a.



 Да, выводятся моментально. На телеге в новостях они сообщают, что мол починили эти задержки, но большое количество догов "застряло на их стороне". (с) Надеюсь что не навсегда.
Курс догов подскакивал до 0.0000007 BTC, сейчас уже упал до 0,00000066. Да и BTC тоже неслабо лихорадило вчера-позавчера. Думаю что это и есть истинная причина задержек.

I would guess if I can not get it sorted in 24 hrs, I could just export my priv key and import it to the new wallet.

Or just abandon that 150hbn, not the end of the world.

Got it all sorted... just moved my .dat file over to other pc   still not sure what was going on, does not really matter now, repair wallet found my coin.
