1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My wallet wasn't updated and i never got my coin on: January 17, 2019, 08:29:38 PM
I had a buddy test send me $20 and i also Never got it and this was a new wallet ID(same account).
Is my account stuck/frozen ? For some reason?

I see you posted in Mycelium board also, so you may have noticed that other users have problems like you. Looks like there is a problem with Mycelium servers in combination with your internet or even mobile phone you use.

You should try to clear cache from your phone, then make soft reset of phone, and try also turn off/on your internet modem. Then try to update your wallet and see what's going to happen.

Your account is not frozen, but it is stuck because of bad app you use. Be sure to save your seed words before doing anything - if problem continue, then only way to access your BTC would be to import seed in some new wallet.

Mycelium shows zero balance - bug?

Ok finally resolved.

Idk what the real problem was. But i highlighted the HD account and pressed the 3 circles in the top right corner to bring the drop down menu down and i pressed 'archive' and it instantly brought up my coins. All of them.

Thank you all for the help

No i didn't want to reinstall or take any further action and possibly screw myself more.
My internet connection is fine it's working great with the hotspot and everything.

There is a possibility that your mycelium can't connect to the peers, maybe your DNS block the server or something like that.

Ok i will have to look more into sending my wallet to electrum cuz that what everyone seems to be saying. Do you have a link that explains in detail for ppl like me who don't know?

You don't have to "send" to Electrum, you just need to import your wallet. You have the 12 words (seeds) right? Then you can import it on Electrum. It's simple, you just have to install Electrum from the official site[1], and then when you start your apps it will give you several options, one of them is to import wallet. You can follow this guide[2]. Your address looks like a legacy address, so choose that when you import your seed.

If i don't load my wallet into electrum, can i just wait it out and eventually the funds will be in my mycelium wallet like they should be? Or no matter what I'm going to have to take further action to get the coin?

We don't know for sure, it's unclear why your mycelium can't update your wallet status. If you can wait then you can try, but if you need the funds asap then maybe use other wallet.

I'm thinking when i cancelled that broadcast its holding my account up.. is this a possibility?

It should not be a problem.

Thank you for the detailed answer.
The only reason i thought cancelling the broadcast had something to do with it is cuz right after i did that i pressed reload account and that's when it erased my coin and history.

I will try electrum today
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Never received my coin. 50 confirmations...{wallet stuck?} on: January 17, 2019, 02:40:33 AM
I mean you can wait it out and see if it fixes or see if an update comes along that unsticks it. If you have the phrase written down then your coins are safe anyway. If you want instant access, you'll have to recover it to another wallet app, otherwise you can just wait and see if it fixes itself.

Ok great. Thank you very much for the info.
Do you know why this happened? What i did wrong to avoid this again.

And also. Any links on how to send my wallet?

Your funds are safe. Looks like mycelium or connectivity problems. I think mycelium can't update or connect to peers to update your wallet status. Have you tried reinstalling mycelium? Use different internet provider?

If you have laptop/computer, try to import your wallet to Electrum or other Bitcoin wallet. If there are no problems on your internet connection, you should be able to access your funds.

If you have your seed written down, your finds should be safe. Did the app come from the appstore?

Can you post or pm me the txids/receiving addresses?

What exactly do you mean by seed? Those 12 words? Cuz if that's what you mean then yes i have that but i did it after i pressed "reload account".

It's the mycelium app, from Google play

7  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Mycelium wallet; "refresh" button vs. "reload account" on: January 17, 2019, 12:29:57 AM
What are the difference between the two?
The refresh button that looks like two arrows forming a circle and the "reload account" from the drop down menu?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Never received my coin. 50 confirmations...{wallet stuck?} RESOLVED! on: January 16, 2019, 11:26:34 PM
Ok i will explain everything.

Using the Mycelium app.

I will start with this just in case its important; three days ago i was sent coin two times, one for $1770 and one for $38. Both those showed up in my transaction history but the green circles on the left never filled up to show it was complete, they were half filled circles. but the money was available in my account.

Anyway, fast forward to last night. I was going to send 1500 to someone but decided to cancel last moment (remember my mycelium app was not updated) so i cancelled the broadcast really fast and the transaction disappeared from the transaction list, but all the previous ones were still there. Only that one i cancelled disappeared.

Ok so this morning someone sent me 2BTC and its showing complete in the block chain ( if u want the code to check it out on blockchain to confirm yourself i will send you that info) but it never reached my account. So i waited like 8 hours and it still never reached my account. So i pressed reload account and all my transaction history disappeared and so did the remaining coin in my account.

I never backed up my account. But i did after all this happened.

After i backed my account up, i had a buddy send me $20 as a test and i never got that either and after he sent it my wallet ID is still the same, it didn't change like it usually does.

Can you help me? I'm not sure exactly what's going on. I couldn't find anything online about this specific situation but something similar said that it could take up to 48hours to reload account? Is this true?

I know this might be a little confusing. But I'm explaining everything because I'm not sure where i went wrong.
If you need me to explain anything just ask.

Any help would be great.

soleysupremenick, by what I found similar to your problem is that you maybe need to use option Rescan Account under accounts. Also there is some information that Mycelium is not perform full sync of used address every time.

Since you just update wallet, you should get your seed and import your wallet to Electrum maybe, but be careful with download and use only legit Electrum site.

When i press "reload account" could it take a few days to reload?

I also dont see "rescan account" anywhere... Im using Mycelium app...
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: +newb question* what happens to used btc addy? Are they eventually recycled? on: January 16, 2019, 03:39:53 PM
No. The address stays with you and can be used as much as you like.

A new address is generated for privacy purposes only.
We shouldn't run out of addresses as there are 2^256 or 115792089237316195423570985008687907852837564279074904382605163141518161494335 addresses that can possibly exist (it's actually a little lower but I'll just keep it simple at this point).

Lol ok. Great response thank you. You actually eased my mind a little. Let's hope all is well....

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My wallet wasn't updated and i never got my coin on: January 16, 2019, 02:38:56 PM
Does this make sense? Or do I need to clarify anything?

My main concern is that 7k that i never got but has 50 confirmations.

Im just explaining the whole situation cuz I'm new to BTC and it's all a bit strange to me
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My wallet wasn't updated and i never got my coin on: January 16, 2019, 02:25:21 PM
Sorry what i meant by completed with those previous two is... In the mycelium app it has a circle next to the transactions, and the last two had the circles half full, while all the transactions prior to those two have completed circles.

I didn't mean to confuse you with that

See the circles...

19Zgw4ZDEQrMK77KYxokpvG99Gn6ZsixpU

Is my wallet id it was going to.

Do u need more info?
Make sense?

Not really, I'm kind of confused.

19Zgw4ZDEQrMK77KYxokpvG99Gn6ZsixpU received 7000$- 2BTC, not 100$? - https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/19Zgw4ZDEQrMK77KYxokpvG99Gn6ZsixpU

Just to be clear: Are you still waiting for the above coins to show up in your wallet?, if so, something is definitely wrong, as the txid has 50+ confirmations.

And the 2 previous that i mentioned had 1 and 3 confirmations but we're not complete after 3 days, I only mentioned those to let u know the full situation. The wallet id changes every time so it wasn't sent to the same wallet ID.
what do you mean by "Not complete", once a transaction has 1 confirmation, (depending on the size), it is usually often seen as "complete" or "validated", and should definitely show up in your wallet?

Yes exactly that. I had 100 already in my wallet and im stilk waiting for that 7k with 50 confirmations.

When i pressed "reload account" it wiped out the 100 that was in my account. I thought it was a refresf button

I only mentioned those two previous transactions with 1 and 2 confirmations just incase u needed to know. Like i said I'm new to this.

Tbh it was only 100$ that got wiped from my account when i pressed reload account. Not so worried about that. Just thought i should mention it.

My main concern is the coin that was sent to me i didn't receive....

If you need a pic of anything or any info to help I'll post it up

Well, you still have access to your wallet right? (Also, "only 100" implies that you had much more stored on your wallet? (In different adresses?) are these still showing up normal?)

(Maybe ask yourself what's different with the adress/tx as opposed to all the other adresses that are still in your wallet, with balance..?)

Make a backup now of your seed, and maybe try to restore it in another (safe!) environment, to see if it might be the application that's displaying something wrong?

Do you have a transaction ID of the coins that were supposedly sent to you? Where are these coins coming from? P2P Trade?

You mentioned in the OP that they already had 1,,, 3 confirmations, so i really doubt that they got doublespend?

Im new to btc so i don't exactly understand im sorry. I learn quickly tho.

In mycelium the wallet ID changes every transaction.

Yes was coming from P2P.

What info do you need to confirm?

And no there is no other coins stored on mycelium. It was only that 100 i had in there. And the coin im waiting for that i was just sent
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My wallet wasn't updated and i never got my coin on: January 16, 2019, 01:27:26 PM
I think the reload option does not wipe your account, but merely regenerates all the adresses from the root key? (Note that i am not an experienced Mycelium user, this is merely what i've found online.)

(Which, if you imported the adresses that were holding your coins, could explain why they're missing.?)

You can find out whether Mycelium monitors or scans old addresses by generating a list of your addresses, choosing an old one and sending some coin to it.  See if it shows up in your balance.

If not, refresh your wallet.
Highlight (select) the account, go to the menu and click reload account.  It will then have to generate every address in the chain, including the one you sent some new coins to.  Maybe it will see the coins...anybody care to try it?

Anyway, have you made a backup of your seed somewhere? -- https://mycelium-support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003713712-How-do-I-restore-a-backup-

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / My wallet wasn't updated and i never got my coin RESOLVED! on: January 16, 2019, 12:46:08 PM
I was sent some coin about 20 hours ago.
I didn't realize that the Mycelium wallet wasn't updated thru the play store.
Before i updated my wallet i noticed that the last transaction had 1 confirmation and the 2nd had 3, they weren't complete yet and these were from 3 days prior.
So i updated my wallet and nothing happened.
So my dumbass panicking a little i accidentally pressed "reload account" thinking it was just a refresh button. Then all my coin disappeared...

Can someone update me on my situation?
Did i lose the coin? What can i do?
. The transaction is completed already on the blockchain it says.
