Also its asic resistant(or some ive been told), has an innovative voting system, much easier to mine than LTC, cheaper to mine too as peoples gpus are running at like 40 degrees and only at low intensities. |

The amount of GPU mining interest Heavycoin is receiving is a very positive sign. We would like to dispel the myth that GPU mining means an increased or faster increase in the supply of Heavycoin. We are happy that Heavycoin was (at least) able to give CPU-miners the first week of mining, which is often the most profitable window to mine (as the difficulty has much to adjust). At this point we would like to ascertain to what degree Heavycoin is GPU-resistant (eg. how much CPU does it still require in order to GPU mine) before updating our website. Our plan going forward to is to continue to support the core Heavycoin software, assist mining pools wherever possible and support the Heavycoin community with the bounties and future development fund. bugger all cpu usage required, all my cpus are working 98% on the world community grid whilst my gpu is hashing away HVC. |

surely not, they have no HVC, it all gets paid out instantly.You have no clue in what you invested , right? hey like I said i'm not very technical, I get the gist of what is unique and what's not though and that's all I need for investing. And uhhhh tomorrow would be better for me, just kidding im fine with next year if it shows continual improvement/adoption, i'm an investor, long game, like ripple  . |

There are two REALLY big reasons this coin will still succeed: 1) The Algo is still very ASIC resistant and extremely secure 2) GPUs run cooler and more efficiently with this coin Those icy cool GPUs will bring more GPU miners who want to save on power, increasing interest and making this coin a dominant force yet again  While I agree with the first part ... when the hell was hvc a dominant coin? tomorrow is the answer to that  |

An attacker that controls more than 50% of the network's computing power can, for the time that he is in control, exclude and modify the ordering of transactions. This allows him to: - Reverse transactions that he sends while he's in control
- Prevent some or all transactions from gaining any confirmations
- Prevent some or all other generators from getting any generations
in other words, the Heavycoin network is NOT SECURE at this point of time alright alright chill the fuck out, im not very technical. thanks for the info though, plus I imagine it wont be long now before pools start springing up all over the place. |
