For the GPU guys, what are you running your core and memory clocks at? Currently running them at 1050/1500, but that's what I was using on scrypt. Is it overkill? My temps are running super cool, 42-52c. Intensity is at 3.

Another nice thing about GPU mining this, for me at least, is that all my GPUs perform equally well. I used to get 100khs more on one of my r290s than the other 2 and it made me sick. Now I don't have to look at what could have been if I'd bought a different brand.

those of you who think this coin is dead are insane, most of the people who had cold feet already dumped and look at the size of the buy orders coming in. GPU mining is looking like the beginning for this coin not the end.
I would have to agree. It's still decentralized. Difficulty will adjust with the higher hashrate. Higher amounts of coins being mined will increase liquidity of the coin; it's apples to apples, and it's fair and even to anyone. It's not like only a select few have the new miner.... everyone does. If anything; the price may rocket up because people who had no interest in mining CPU coins will now be jumping in. This is ESPECIALLY so with LTC difficulty so high. Right now, mining HVC is by far more profitable than LTC. I have 4 rigs running 280x cards at 4 each... I'm up at around 85mhash on 1GH. Just wait until people jump off LTC with cgminer and point to 1GH. Price will SKYROCKET. Then after a huge rise in price it will adjust, perhaps crash back down... before stabilizing. But there is going to be a HUGE boom today with this coin. Just watch. This miner was released EARLY. Its only 10am EST. California is still 7AM. A lot of people arent even aware it's out yet. I have personally sold most of my HVC (which sucks in hindsight), but I would not be suprised if we see the value multiply in the next 6-8 hours- 4x, 6x. 10x. Its possible. LTC is becoming SOO difficult. My miners are more profitable, drawing half power, and running at 40c. This is awesome. I'm totally with you. I spent so many sleepless nights finetuning my rig for all those scrypt coins, lastly SpainCoin and computer crashing all the time like crazy. Now I run on 55 degrees Celsia in average and PC is perfectly stable, that's so great. HVC is really a greencoin now. :-) I really like the idea of re-marketing HVC as a "greencoin". My GPU really seems to like it.

Im running 1175/150 (mem won't go higher) , intensity 7 on my r290s and getting just short of 9MHS a piece.

You can change you signature now. I think we would have now a better distribution of HVC, things are getting better with GPU-Mining.

CPU mining only? What a joke. I told all of you on release day that this coin would not be CPU mining only. Failcoin!

Funny, people thought this would kill the coin when it's actually quite the opposite. I'm was mining LTC, but with the increased difficulty, warmer months ahead, all at half the electrical costs, it's a no-brainer. Hopefully others recognize this as well (seems like people have), and a negative gets turned into a positive.

There are two REALLY big reasons this coin will still succeed: 1) The Algo is still very ASIC resistant and extremely secure 2) GPUs run cooler and more efficiently with this coin Those icy cool GPUs will bring more GPU miners who want to save on power, increasing interest and making this coin a dominant force yet again

After all the high hopes I had for HVC's development team keccak and nomisugi I must now resumee that I am not satisfied at all. sorry. You two must be one of the slowest to respond to issues, if at all. could u please at least let me know WHY?
first we waited such a long time for pools, even miner binaries , then 1GH was first (independent) to provide a working pool and binaries and resultingly has now 99% of the network hashrate. at the same timewe waited days for the mac os x wallet until somebody fixed it for you(?!). basically the community took over many things u should have done with all your BTCs.
this is a fact and, despite me still liking the coin and seing it as something not average, I do not understand your behavior as development team.
yes, I still like the coin in general. but if u dont change your attitude and get things done (AND FAST AT THAT) then i dont see what you raised the ipo for. tell me. i highly suggest you to use that btc to attract best developers to work for you and get things done IN AN INSTANT and not days (which is not acceptable and wont work)

Miner is solid. First release, no hangs, issues. 45 degrees, R9 280X at 6mhash each.
Price keeps going up too. At 31 now. Was at 19 before the release of the GPU miner.
People could very well see this as an awesome alternative to LTC. 1/2 the AC costs, cards run cool, no heat issues, moving into summer.
Exciting.
