IPO 1M coins, POW 1.5M coins, where are the other 2.5M coins?
from POS. 19.9% equates to roughly 500,000 coins a year being staked, so in 5 years MINIMUM 5million coins will exist. But seeing how not even 50% of the holders stake their coins all the time it will be 10-15 years. So people claiming 20% POS is TOO much... more than that amount of coins are going to be produced in just a 5 days time period while in POW phase. |

Perhaps we should have called this Byzantine coin at least the Eastern Roman Empire lasted until the 1400's. Maybe this coin would have lasted longer. Pissed away some BTC scraps on this. Oh well better luck next time. This turkey is dead, time to move on.
I do kind of feel sorry for the developer, she launched this coin when a bunch of other hotter, well performing coins came out. Hell I'm making good profits off of Mugatu coin which is based on a stupid character from the movie Zoolander. Also I feel bad she has someone in the hospital right now I hope they get better, but the bottom line is if you are not on the coin all the time it will die. Also choosing a country/city/continent coin is a very very very very bad idea. These types of coins have such a bad rap whether rightly or wrongly, that any sign of them losing value people dump the hell out of them and will never touch them again with a ten foot pole. You might as well name your coin "scamcoin" or "pump'Ndump coin" or "SuperPreminecoin". She could have used any number of names to associate the coin to Rome without using a dead civilization moniker(Ironic?). Such as "Romulus coin"(One of the founders of Rome) or "Remuscoin"(another founder) or "Aquaductcoin". Hell even "Indoortoiletcoin" or "MarioBroscoin" would have been better. People have already associated country/geographic coins with political bullshit plus under performance, and that's not a good combo. Just admit it, this thing is dead. A few people made some money and that's great but most of us got burned, just move on, there are tons of very hot coins out there right now.
This is coming from a guy who all he does is troll on the forums. You got in Asiacoin and were cheer leading it on early and then changed your stance after the dump to mocking it. Nobody cares about your opinion and you aren't going to change the minds of other people as your name holds no merit. The crypto community is poisoned with scammers, liars and trolls and people like you, that is why having a dev that is trustworthy and selfless (which she has proven to be) in this kind of environment is like finding a gem in a rubbish pile. That on its own merit makes this coin very valuable, much more than it currently is. When you are buying a coin you arent buying the coin itself but you are buying the dev and she has proven to be a worthy dev that sticks to her promises. Patience is all that is needed with Roman coin. I am keeping for long as I have fate and trust, you do what you want. Nobody is forcing you to stay, just take your nonsense with you on the way out. |

Is wallet listed on OP the latest version and staking properly? Thanks  I've that wallet, so no new errors were reported. That is not the question of course its working but the stakes? I have gotten ZIP sense the update, think my last stake was on the 31st as you can see from the screenshot of my wallet. I can confirm staking works. I just got my first stake 1 minute ago just over 24 hours of my coins being in my wallet |

Good morning everybody. I believe some people like to receive some updates. First topic: Website, we made some good progress on the website and currently we are improving some little pieces so that it looks nice. Second topic: The total IPO money was 1.88433732 BTC, this means that some people received more coins then they infact were suppose to receive. This came because of a late payment at 23:37:17 by a IPO investor. One of the persons was complaining that he didn't receive the correct amount of coins but i gave him the screenshot of that guy that his payment came late. This means in fact that a few people received too much coins and a few people received the correct amount of coins. We had a internal session to discuss this and how we want to get it working. As stated before, this takes time and we are now analysing what needs to be done. We are writing some technical flows. Fith topic: I will not be online a lot today, as my mother is taken to the hospital. The team knows what they have to do, but from me you will not receive any updates anymore till later today or till tomorrow. I was pleased to see +600 sats yesterday, and this is a good step in the right direction. The next step should be trying to get on Poloniex and mintpal. DEV, if we indeed received too much coins (because of the pending 0.5BTC that didn't arrived), then i'm willing to give the coins that I've received too much back and I will deposit it to the donation address. This is really a great plan, looking forward to see some results, after the VOOT scam we can use something positive. Reading this ALONE is enough reason to get into Roman! Especially at these RIDICULOUSLY low prices! The Dev is soo honest and unselfish and so to its community. There is no other dev that would take money out of their own wallet to give for someone that was late to an IPO just to give him a chance! The potential here is amazing! The fact she did not tell the last investor , who was clearly late and then took it out of her own pot says a lot. I would have told that person to go pound sand, being that it was not even close to the end time of the IPO, but that is just me. So that is even less what dev has left. Soo many people forget getting stuff going cost money. Being it pools or even exchanges. Ive donated , those who can should toss in some too to keep the ball going. Dev should not work for free. +1 Totally agree, if a person try to do her best then this is already a very big step!!! As lately you have a lot of scam coins, so people need to take care of good devs, it is a very hard project plan, but if she manage to do this then we are not talking about 250sats or so but talking about 25000 sats. I'm buying some more coins and i will also give some to the donation address. I'm on board with this coin... 15 million coins... at 300 SAT... are you kidding me? This coin actually has an active development team working toward innovation with the coin. Honest to god, more than 3/4 of the coin developers out there launch a coin and RARELY come back to say any word. Because this coin has a solid backing... community + development, I'm investing a good portion of my portfolio into the coin. Get ready guys, because this coin belongs no under 2000 SAT the way it is going!

PROJECT PLAN 1. We are in talk with a multipool (as you know from the beginning but we need more BTC), so multipool is one topic. 2. We are looking to start a exchange like mintpal, but to start from nothing it takes a long time maybe we will take over a small existing exchange and modify it so that users have the option to buy other coins using ROM/BTC or DRK. 3. We want to implement something like anom transaction. Again here we have several options, talking to people that already have a working functionality and try to create a deal or we develop it ourself, again this will take time, so we are more looking at purchase something. 4. Website, but that you already know, this is the easy part. A website should be up and running soon. So a lot is in the planning either by purchasing (depending on the cost) or getting things done ourself (what will take time) +1 +1 This needs more Visibility! |

Just a quick reminder to everyone to please keep your wallets open and coins staking, as that's how the PoS blockchain gets mined. We included a healthy 15% interest rate in MastiffCoin to incentivize everyone to stake, so be sure to take advantage!
15 % is way too much. Just look at Mintcoin if you want to see what happens when your interest is that high. Mintcoin's downward trend isn't due to the 20% interest rate, but exterior causes. One was someone trying to sabotage the coin and that combined with greed to buy and sell 1 satoshi higher created massive sell walls which ultimately led to its spiral down. Now back to the topic of the 15-20% interest rate. It is not at all high, let us assume that 50% of users are staking everyday for a year and getting the full 15% ( which is a pretty high assumption ), it mean's that the total coins will only rise by 7.5%. If the marketcap was $1,000,000 at the start of the year the market cap would only need to go up by $75,000 by the end of the year just to keep the same price(by further assuming that everyone sold their stake). This is in no way too high. |

If it gets into schools or parents do start using it for its intended purpose with kids, it won't take much for it to rise given the very low market cap. And the software development in support of that goal has been excellent, IMHO. +1 At this second it is the best thing to buy that will guarantee a return, short and long term. |

Should be main priority and get done asap, me thinks.
It went to 45k without even being on coinmarketcap, a lot of people still don't know about this coin and once it hits CMC and Mintpal 45k will be left far behind.
