Depends on the effect a world war would have on the internet, if it can still run properly I believe bitcoin prices would skyrocket. People will be exchanging firearms and what not with bitcoin, in times of desperation and crisis people make the most money.

One positive I can gather is that we are having a pretty decent steady climb on the voting on mintpal. Don't stop now, keep voting as much as you can and bring this coin to the top. Let's try get listed either by next monday or if not the monday after. Once we are in a decent range, we can gather some btc and push us to the top. The current top coin has 10x more BTC invested than us and only roughly 3X the votes, meaning we are a bigger community and we vote more. Maybe we can orchestrate a combined effort on the sunday/monday and get us on top

healthy buy wall at 2595 of 1.9btc and 0.95 at 2592 unless stupid people dump their coins at this price, only way is up.

Block reward dropped about 20% to 577 for next 5.7 days. It might drop even lower after that. It's now pretty expensive to mine HVC at current price. Good time to buy it cheap I think.
yup the future is looking good, glad i kept my ipo stake and bought more rather than dumping. What was the IPO price? People really panicked out when the gpu rumors started. IPOs bought in at roughly 0.000035 Currently it is lower than IPO. I see this as a good thing as it gives more people chance to buy in and distribute the coin more instead of a few IPOs hodling the most amount of coins. Price should rise above IPO pretty quickly though.

My theory on the price drop is that because a few hands hold a gpu miner some people are temporary selling because they know the news will affect the price in some way and are just waiting to rebuy at lower prices. On top of that the people using gpu miners are just dumping their coins as fast as they can while they are the only ones using them, causing a few panic sellers. As people have stated only 1-2 BTCs worth are needed to bump the price back up, which will definitely appear at the right time. (Presumably once a gpu miner has been released to the public and momentum kicks back up) As 173BTC worth of HVC are still in hands of IPO alone, they themselves will pump the price back up. So I think it's a good time to buy back up. I may be wrong but that't my theory.
Do you actually think that the dev is going to use that money on a futile attempt to pump up this failed coin when he can just take that 173 btc/$100,000 and walk away? I am saying that most of the people who have invested in the IPO still hold their coins. They along with other buyers are going to drive the price back up. The people selling are gpu miners + some panic sellers.

Do you guys think multipools are the way to go at the moment? Should we look into implementing a GPUC multipool?

O.o and switch between which other coins? Multipools can only switch between coins with the same POW algo. Im pretty sure that using multipools the miner will automatically mine which coin is most profitable and then just convert those coins into heavy using an exchange and send them to your wallet. So I don't think algo has anything to do with it.

Hi, i'm new of the coin, my pool script had 512 has vote number, have i to set 1?
could you please give me the meaning of it in a short phrase? thanks
Hi there. You do not have to do anything. It is up to you. As you vote for lower numbers (ex. 1) you make the coin more rare since the reward per block will be just 1 coin and this is considered as a booster of its price. Personally I disagree, but that's the tendency here. As you vote for higher numbers (ex. 1024) you make the coin much more easy to mine since the reward per block will be 1024 coins and this is considered as devaluing the coin. My personal opinion is, as in most cases, something in the middle. So, I consider 512 a very good number for now. My reasoning is that indeed I do not want the coin devalued but also I want new people (new miners) to join it and receive coins for their efforts in order to increase the participation and the interest for the coin. The scheme as I see it at this moment is: -v 1 --> Nobody really cares for the coin, just the ones that already have coins "play" with them, interest lost, coin devalued -v 512 --> New people start joining the coin, they see some value, start discussing and exchanging it, strong interest -v 1024 --> Coin hyped, many coins in circulation, everyone has some coins, the supply is bigger than the demand, price drops, coin devalued Still, this is my line of thinking, it is extremely possible that I miss an aspect here. Your mostly right, but most people here don't want a block size of 1 (me included) but still vote for 1 because majority block finder votes are for a 1024. The total votes are averaged and right now, the average is above 512. If 512 is what you want, then you need to vote a lot lower to make your vote count more. +1 people should either set to 1 or 1024 depending on which side of the current vote they would like to see it go to, no matter what their ideal number is.

how long can we expect till we are added on coinmarketcap?

Is price likely to drop once IPOs start getting their payouts and then jump back up as some rebuy for cheaper prices ?

So many angry posts. You'd think those that really felt it were a 'shitcoin' wouldn't have to repeat themselves every page. The delay is a concern, but I don't see the need to whine every other post that isn't your own.
That said, I'm very happy I didn't go the lazy route and went with procedure 1...lol.
I am pretty sure that all IPOs have been paid out, even procedure 2 people.
