21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin regulations in India ??? on: April 25, 2018, 02:09:11 PM
I am reading somewhere that Bitcoin and other crypto currencies illegal in India as per Indian central bank announcement. In some other place i am seeing  RBI advises caution on its use, bitcoin is not illegal in India. Which one is true ?? Any clarification about this?
RBI has just announced its investors to be cautious as bitcoin price is highly volatile in nature. But it has not yet announced it to be illegal.Indian government is a little bit confused about cryptos. It has an idea of launching its own digital currency named Lakshmi and at that situation,it might term bitcoin as illegal.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity of cryptocurrencies owners on: April 25, 2018, 01:47:01 PM
I have always supported bitcoin and its anonymity. Today, we heard about the users who got hacked after they logged in to myetherwallet. This wasn't the first time some users got hacked and there is no doubt it will happen again. It can happen to all of us. There is no difference you are holding bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum. All of us wish it was possible to punish that hacker. But all the holders are anonymous. So, anonymity is not always good. What is your opinion about cryptocurrencies anonymity considering this issue?

What you want to say that hackers are anonymous(or at least try to be anonymous),yet it is most important for every hacker not to be found.I think you've mixed up some things here, hackers anonymity and anonymity of any cryptocurrency is something that is not for comparison.

MyEtherWallet is hacked by hacking Google DNS public servers, and it is not fault of the wallet service(maybe there is a way to to prevent this kind of attack?).Storing coins in online wallet is something that poses the greatest risk for crypto users, and they do it even today after so many hacks that have happened in the past years.

After all I can say that the greatest danger for any crypto user is his ignorance, people who do not learn from the past and other people's mistakes can expect that the same bad things can happen to them in future.
Yes instead of myether wallet, they could have used any hardware wallets like trezor so that their hard earned coins could have been saved.Welcoming the regulation of government just for tracing the hackers is not logical.Even our credit cards, debit cards get hacked and when compared to these, crypto coins are far better.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coins everywhere. on: April 23, 2018, 11:53:09 PM
It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.
ICO is a new phenomenon and we all know that scammers would love to use such new things to scam people easily.Already many scams are going on in internet and ICOs being related to cryptocurrencies which are digital currencies working only in internet. So the scammers find ICOs as the ultimate option to target innocent people and run away with their money.Since there is no centralized body in cryptos, its up to the investors to carefully select the ICOs and invest in them.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: Сontinued growth or dramatic fall on: April 23, 2018, 11:51:20 PM
We are now marching towards the bull market. At last, bitcoin has managed to recover from the downfall price of $6,000 where it was struggling for some days. But the annoying thing is that it is vulnerable to FUDS which are deliberately spread in the market and which were highlighted by the media.Bitcoin price has faced many upward movements earlier and even if it does not rise more,it would be great if it remains stable in this price range of $9,000 range without any downfall.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver and Bitcoin.com do a social attacks to Bitcoin on: April 23, 2018, 11:49:55 PM
Roger Ver is now the bitcoin Antichrist and he would only do like that always.Definitely most of newbies would get confused on seeing such descriptions that Bitcoincash is true bitcoin and bitcoin is only bitcoincore. Some may even end up in buying BCH thinking that they are buying the most revolutionary bitcoin and that they had become the owners of bitcoin from then.If they do a little bit more search, then they might be saved.
26  Other / Off-topic / Re: Solution to overcome panic on: March 30, 2018, 11:15:07 PM
As a newbie, sometimes when looking at the declining bitcoin price chart finds it confusing to decide whether to sell or hold assets. What should we do when under such conditions.

1. Seek information or signal to the next bitcoin price movement
2. Join groups or communities of crypto merchants, or
3. Confident and reinforce the belief that bitcoin prices will recover.

If you have any other suggestions, I would be more pleased. Thank's
Just have a look at the previous history if bitcoin's price movement so that you would get much confident that this price movement is a routine phenomenon taking place in bitcoin.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 16.7 million Bitcoins in circulation? on: March 30, 2018, 11:11:45 PM
The creator of bitcoin Satoshi has framed bitcoin in such a way that there should be only 21million bitcoins available for supply.Satoshi may have wished to make bitcoin free from deflation unlike US Dollars.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaks $6k barrier on: March 29, 2018, 11:53:00 PM
Definitely it would bounce back as it did earlier. It might be another move by big whales to manipulate bitcoin price.Great news for whom?May be for those who are waiting to buy cheaper bitcoins for a long time.If G20 summit had not been postponed to July, then the situation would had even been totally different with bitcoin price moving upward.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin will end soon? on: March 29, 2018, 11:49:49 PM
This type of questions have been answered hundred times earlier in this forum.Bitcoin has survived lots of critical situations and it still exists. We have seen even more severe crashes than this like BTC price falling from 20,000 dollars to 7,000 dollars. As segwit has reduced the transaction fee considerably, btc has once again got to be accepted as a payment system in many companies. So it will not be an end.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good or bad for bitcoin users ?? on: March 28, 2018, 11:58:11 PM
There is a bitcoin mixer that can be use so that your Bitcoin will not be tracked. That news is just a FUD. Tracking a fully anonymous coin will never be happened because bitcoin is design to be anonymous. It's up the user if he will reveal his identity or not.
Yes.If its highly impossible to fully tract users of bitcoin working in such a huge volume all over the world.T hey might try to track addresses having huge volume of transactions to trace tax evaders.Other than this what they could do is to force exchanges to strictly follow KYC.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After FB, now Twitter. Is there any effect to us and what should we do? on: March 28, 2018, 11:55:52 PM
No bitcoin has never been dependant on such social medias for its survival.I t might hurt ICOs very much which in turn would hurt Ethereum which is mostly used for raising funds.Bitcoin has already reached almost major section of people and now such bans would make no differences.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whales always be bathing on: March 24, 2018, 11:57:11 PM
I strongly believe the whales are trying to shake coins out of the weak hands before the big pump happens. They want to consolidate as many cpins out of the hands of tye little guys before scooping up as many as they can.
Its a regular phenomenon which big whales use to grab cheaper bitcoins always targetting the newbies who are fond of becoming victims due to their inexperience.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in a triangle - Watch it closely on: March 24, 2018, 11:48:54 PM
Indeed you can create a lot of triangle indeed Smiley But you have to find the lines that pass through several top/bottom to have an effeicient triangle.
I used this triangle since february on tradingview and it was perfect to predict the top of march 05 and the dip of 18 march.
But Technical Analysis is not always perfect ;p It's just a part of the trading process with fondamental analysis and market sentiment.

Yes only technical analysis wouldn't help fully to predict the market.A lot of outward factors do have more influence over bitcoin price.Infact FUDs play a vital role in deciding the market fate.
34  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if trading in Bitcoin was your source of income? on: March 24, 2018, 11:41:53 PM
That is not true, it is very difficult to be able to be a trade in this kind of markets, specially when everything is on red and you can not even make $5 out of the market.

Um, have you heard of shorting? That means you make tons of money when the price falls radically. Sometimes more than if it's going up as falls are often more violent.
Yeah. You are absolutely right.Making utmost use of the situation whatever dry it may be.Shorting is done by big whales. But its a very risky game and accurate prediction of market is needed to gain from it and I have seen many people totally getting crashed due to a wrong move in shorting. Its not a kid's game.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: HODL mentality destroys the currency aspect of Bitcoin on: March 24, 2018, 11:35:21 PM
It seems like only a small fraction of bitcoins as well as other cryptocurrencies gets earned while the vast majority of the coins are bought. But when people buy coins, they obviously aim exclusively at selling them later at a higher price, which is what speculation basically consists in because it makes no economic sense to buy a cryptocurrency to spend it on goods when people can easily spend fiat instead. However, if the price goes down, people aren't going to spend their coins either. And whenever someone complains about prices going down, the only reply they receive is just to hold to their precious bitcoins, no matter what the price could or would be. I have yet to meet anyone telling these bag holders to spend their stashes on something useful.

Apparently, the HODL mentality kills the currency aspect of Bitcoin.
You are right. But we should also take in to consideration that the slower confirmation of transactions also caused bitcoin not to get used in the mainstream of payment. Now bitcoin has almost become as a main investment due to the ROI and chances for bitcoin to be spent has become very less in the future.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: In case you're interested on: March 24, 2018, 11:29:09 PM
So you just copied the list from Wikipedia and added some personal opinions, right?
Can you please let me know if is this called G20 and you have only 19 members there?
Also you counted 7 neutral votes , but your list only shows 6.

And since we're on topic, Brazil has clearly said that is doesn't want to regulate bitcoins and the signals are not at all positive.

It seems to me that the results of the G20 summit can not be commented. Everything remains as it is. For me it is good. I don't expect anything good from legalization.

They've already moved the deadline to July..
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-g20-argentina-bitcoin/g20-agrees-to-monitor-cryptocurrencies-but-no-action-yet-idUSKBN1GW2R9
So since they have moved the deadline to July, there seems no immediate threat for cryptos. But with the changing attitude of countries about cryptos day by day,we could expect more improvements and positive declarations about cryptos in the upcoming summit.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum be a Better Investment than Bitcoin in 2018? on: March 23, 2018, 11:35:49 PM
It's true that ethereum is widely used for issuing many tokens since it provides a smart contract platform. But when we compare ethereum's performance with bitcoin, bitcoin has given much higher returns to its investors than ethereum. So for very high benefits, choose bitcoin and if you have a lower investment amount and your are satisfied with a smaller profit, then you could choose Ethereum.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Online Shopping Exp. With Bitcoin – Faster, Cheaper Than Visa, Paypal on: March 23, 2018, 11:29:22 PM
Hi all i just wanted to share my experience recently using bitcoin since the implementation of SegWit, i went online shopping and when i proceeded to the checkout of clothing store Marbek i selected Coinbase as Payment method. I was presently surprised at how fast bitcoin was and how the whole process was overall. https://www.cointrust.com/news/my-online-shopping-exp-with-bitcoin-faster-cheaper-than-visa-paypal
That's definitely a great positive change.Segwit implementation has made it possible.Just few days before, coinbase accepted to use segwit addresses due to huge pressure from its users.Coinbase having a huge user base would definitely help many users to use bitcoins for payments.
39  Other / Off-topic / Re: How wars can affect Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2018, 11:24:00 PM
While commenting on one of threads over here. A really interesting thought popped into my mind. What will happen when there will be coming a huge war?
Even a World War III? Will Bitcoin pump or dump? What role will Bitcoin play? We all know the economy and the currencies are very vulnerable in wars.
I would like to hear some interesting thoughts, even maybe some full detailed articles? Anything would be very welcomed.
If such a war occurs, then definitely people would give first preference to their food and shelter.A Actually no one would be ready to sell any products and accept bitcoin as payment at that time.So people would start selling their bitcoins much earlier on seeing the war signs. So it will cause bitcoin price to crash as the supply of bitcoins in the market would exceed the demand.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will EXPLODE Sooner Than You Think on: March 23, 2018, 11:15:16 PM
If it hits 20k I would expect a massive sell of from those who bought at 20k in December and are waiting to recoup if they haven't already taken a loss
I don't think that it would be a wise decision to sell bitcoins just at the rate which they bought.Infact they would be holding to gain profits and not to just retain their invested amount.
