181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touches $10,000 in Bithumb(south korean exchange) on: November 28, 2017, 04:10:03 AM
Bitcoin touches $10k in south korean exchange bithumb(one of the largest exchange). There are many reactions coming along.

Here is Julian Assange tweet https://twitter.com/JulianAssange/status/935177898285322241

Excited and also thinking about the future as well.
Its happy to see bitcoin price reaching $10,000.But we could not forget that bithumb is the same korean exchange which was accused of allowing wash trading which was illegal to just pump BCH price above $3,000 when its price was just $1,800 in other exchanges. Its not a reputed exchange and we need not give importance to the listings in such exchanges.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: What to do with our new found wealth??? on: November 28, 2017, 02:03:46 AM
Well if you made millions and wanna sneak it ... Without notice of any government official..then I would recommend i split it in parts... Send it to trustable people..and remember this the .. problem only arrises when you go forward to encash it !
Thus.. send it to trustable people and... Encash the amount that for government isn't taxable..

And do this over a period..of...time and I don't think there will be any problems with this..

Because encashing is the whole trouble nothing else...
That will not be a good way to encash millions while being off radar. The best way to do it IMO is to just encash it in parts slowly but surely once a month. It would be hard to entrust it to other people you can count on because a lot of problems can arise doing that method while encashing it slowly but surely will be a good bet. That way you can also rebuy whenever dump occurs. Another way is to deal with others via localbitcoins if it is available, then split those transactions.
Both of the ideas are good. But i had already decided to go with the second idea as it seems to be practically applicable and there seems to be no risks in it as it would be difficult to find more number of trustful persons.I have another idea too.Just to sell our bitcoins in localbitcoins.com directly with seller face to face.i hope that in future,i would have to implement any of the above ideas since bitcoin's price is surging high.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do people get their bitcoins? on: November 28, 2017, 12:59:32 AM
At first, got my bitcoins from signature campaign. Then invested them in altcoins and traded to earn more bitcoins.I tried faucet sites, but the income was just peanuts.I even tried to join a cloud mining site to get passive income. But i found that most cloud mining sites are scam nowadays. Also,i saw that we would have to wait for a period of atleast six months to get back our initial investment.Trading has been the best and legit option for me to increase my bitcoin holdings.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is selling BTC foolish because there are forks? on: November 27, 2017, 11:58:10 PM
First of all,i have not claimed any free BCH or BTG coins till now even when many people rushed to claim it.I'm already very much satisfied with bitcoin performance itself since bitcoin price has been marching towards $10,000.But if you have got free BCH or BTG coins, then selling them for bitcoins and holding them would be the best idea i think since as you said, you could claim more free coins in future as it has become a new trend of hard forks occurring nowadays.Another option is that you could even just hold your free BCH and BTG coins itself as its price is highly increasing. But don't ever try to sell them for altcoins since altcoin market is highly volatile and just stay away from that idea.
185  Economy / Economics / Re: One Bitcoin, $10,000. Ten Thousand Dollars. on: November 27, 2017, 11:12:29 PM
I won't say with confidence that the $10K mark has been reached unless we reach that level and manage to stay there for some time. People are very likely to dump and cash out once we hit $10K , so I think it will be some time unless we are past the $10K mark for good.
Exactly! Unless it hit over $10k and remain it in there for some time and even exceed this amount, nobody could rejoice yet. Because $10k can be just be a one day event or even less. So let us just hope for the best. Everybody is anticipating.
Sure.$10,000 has not yet been reached and now,the price of one bitcoin is $9,643.I think that many of the investors would sell their bitcoins because its a very big ROI already. If the price takes some more days to reach $10,000,i would think that due to the upcoming festivals this month end and the year end celebration, selling of bitcoins may become a little bit more.Earlier,we already saw such happenings when the chinese sold more bitcoins during their chinese new year celebration. So,i think that such an ATH would last for only few days.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Around 4 Million Bitcoins lost forever!! on: November 27, 2017, 04:54:06 PM
Just came across this article today says that 4 million out of the total supply of 21 million have already been lost due to various reasons. The most popular reason are the HODLers who are holding it for quite long. These people have reduced the supply of bitcoins in market which has upsurged the price of bitcoin so much. Satoshi surely is the biggest HODLer himself.

Here is the article : http://fortune.com/2017/11/25/lost-bitcoins/

But holding bitcoin doesn't mean they are lost forever or out of circulation?
Absolutely, bitcoins which were being held could not be termed as lost coins.Long time holders could suddenly change their decision and may sell their bitcoins which would bring back the bitcoins in to circulation. The only thing that we would have to worry is about the one million coins which satoshi has since we actually don't know whether satoshi is still alive or not.If those coins comes in to circulation suddenly, that would make a big difference.
187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to sell? on: November 27, 2017, 02:50:00 PM
Can i anybody put me through the basics of knowing when to sell and when to hold?...
I actually don't know much about market rise in demand and supply and it's affecting me in daily trade of cryptocurrency.

I think this is the reason why it is really hard to trade crypto currencies, predicting how will the price move through the year. I think if you are active to some sites or this kind of forum, it will give you some tip to continue holding it or time to give it in. But to be sure, buy bitcoin now and hold it for a long time, well, it gave some profit to some.
Yes,of course.Trading is mostly an unpredictable job.You have to surf crypto related websites frequently and be updated on what progress is happening in the crypto world so that you could get an idea of which coin is performing well and which coin has the potential to rise in future.By tracing the most under valued coin and investing in it,you could make huge profits.Earlier, traders used to predict bitcoin market by keenly watching the china's bitcoin market as it had a very big impact on the bitcoin market worldwide. But it is now no more. You can get some ideas about price increase just like CME entered the market and bitcoin price triggered. You would have to learn it from the market.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the use of Bitcoin increasing? on: November 27, 2017, 12:06:14 PM
Banking institutions, law enforcement agencies, business leaders, Governments and many others call Bitcoin ‘illegal.’
But then - Why is the use of Bitcoin increasing?

Its those institutions calling bitcoin as illegal and not the people.Bitcoin has got huge support from people.People find it as a safe haven free from government regulations. They hope that their investments in bitcoin could never be devalued by the governments. They have started to enjoy financial freedom from bitcoin and they don't want to miss it.Other people too want to join the winning team and so,the demand for bitcoins is increasing continuously.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin expensive to use on: November 26, 2017, 06:46:18 PM
Yes,transaction fee has become the biggest issue for bitcoin and the higher transaction fee seems to make frustration among the users.Segwit was activated with an idea to provide solution for this problem. But due to some miners who started to mine empty blocks and some mining pools sending large number of spam transactions of micro amounts, fee has become very high. But i don't think that users would switch to any other altcoin just for this reason,
190  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I only have 200$ per month ! on: November 25, 2017, 07:14:07 AM
After a month of hard work I have to pay quite a lot of things. I just got one about 200$ to invest in bitcoin. Should or should not. Please help me !  Lips sealed
You could invest your hard earned money in bitcoin. Now,bitcoin seems to be completely free from effects of severe hard forks ad it is also now free from china's influence. You could buy 0.024 BTC from $200.If bitcoin reaches $9000 within two weeks, then your invested amount would increase to $224.By this way, your investment would grow and also your investment would be safe in your wallet.
191  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin=easy money on: November 25, 2017, 06:09:23 AM
Its true that bitcoin is a digit currency and there is no authorized body to issue it as a physical coin or as a paper currency. But at the same time, just like money hard work is needed to earn bitcoins also.Over night success could not be expected.Bitcoin is not at all a quick rich scheme. But when compared to physical money, earning potential is high in bitcoins and also earning options are more here.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTG vs BCH on: November 24, 2017, 04:07:09 PM
Can someone sum up why BCG is worth less than BCH? On paper it seems BCG should be worth more than BCH.
Its true that BCH and BTG were forked coins. But BCH was supported fully and pumped by Roger ver and his group vigorously. That's why such a gigantic price.

But BTG is supported by a very small group. It was a totally unorganized project. Also,it had no miner support. Also, most of the big exchanges did not list it.More over, most of coins were premined. So,it was termed as a scam project. No wallet released for it.That's why its price is very less.
193  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is like heroin on: November 24, 2017, 10:43:52 AM
Bitcoin is not like gambling. In gambling,we totally rely on the luck for our earnings.I don't know how buying bitcoins could be compared to gambling. In gambling, either we double our invested money or totally,we loose our investment.I hope no one has lost his invested money yet in bitcoin totally.Investment in bitcoin is just like investment in gold.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: The Richest 1% Now Own More Than 50% of the World’s Wealth on: November 22, 2017, 11:30:09 PM
Its true that today's economic system has made the small percentage of rich people more rich and poor people more poor.Even though, bitcoin has not been able to change this situation completely upside down,i think that still it has atleast made a few percentage of poor people rich and this percentage may increase in future when more people enter bitcoin and bitcoin price rises more.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Look how fast Bitcoin is moving on: November 22, 2017, 02:58:21 PM
This is the key argument for people promoting Bitcoin: Look how where we were a few months ago and look where we are now. It is only going faster - you should join.

This means that these people have jumped out of an airplane with no parachute.

They are now halfway down and are telling their friends: Look how well this is working, and it is going faster and faster.

When you tell the people they are going to crash-land, they just tell you it is FUD and that in their experience things have been going great since they jumped out of the airplane.
What is your point, bro? Your noobness shouldn't be an excuse to make these stupid comments publicly against bitcoins. First of all, what did you mean by When you tell the people they are going to crash-land, they just tell you it is FUD and that in their experience things have been going great since they jumped out of the airplane.? are you telling us that bitcoin is really going to crash soon and no one from here believes it? And instead, we spread rumors without any basis at all? It seems like you really do not know what "decentralization" means. Compared to the stock market - there is no regulating body for bitcoins - SO THIS MEANS the price will continue to go up as long as the demand is higher than the supply, in other words, as long as most of us HODL to it, and new people are wanting to invest or have a piece of share from the limited supply, the price will definitely go up.

Stock market is regulated by SEC which means that if their price is seems to high, the regulating body will correct it, and eventually will go back to it's fair price. NOT WITH BITCOIN... no one will regulate the price of bitcoin... the price is the transparent representation of the real supply vs demand equation.

Now here is a piece of advise, next time please make sure that you know A LOT about bitcoins and trading before you open your bubble mouth. Also use google translate so we could understand you better.

Wow - you really have jumped out of the plane without the parachute. And looking at the desperation of your message here it appears that you are screaming to the world to believe the fiction that you will not hit the ground.

Through human economic history one thing is very very clear. Unregulated markets always cause great crashes. That is exactly why markets become regulated.

It is to protect people such as yourself who are clearly too dumb to actually know what you are doing that markets are regulated. But you clearly have drunk the kool-aid and honestly believe you can fly without a parachute because until now it has worked out great for you
Already, many people predicted about bitcoin like. But bitcoin has made their mouth shut every time.Even some people went to the extent of publishing obituary for bitcoin. You have just said that the plane would definitely crash and you have not given the solid reasons for the crash to happen. We have traveled already eight years successfully and bankers and governments tried their best to crash the plane bitcoin. But the result was much disappointing for them.We believe that bitcoin has been already created in a way to avoid any crashes and if you still feel insecure to travel, just stay away from the plane and also don't try to make people afraid who feel comfort travelling in the plane.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] TRUCKCOIN: For the fastest decentralized global market on: November 21, 2017, 05:18:55 AM
Sure, the miners may get benefit from the higher value of the coin when the coin launching up in the exchange, moreover they also can trade from their local area with lower price.
It seems that truckcoin has been listed in cryptopia and nova exchanges and is being traded at the price of 0.001250 btc.Its a great opportunity to buy those coins at a cheaper price. When it soon gets listed in other big exchanges,it would be widely available to more investors and its price would skyrocket.

Just a good advice for the future never buy coins/tokens before the official release from the exchange. I remember recent ICO Viberate, you could buy on EtherDelta before the official release, but if you not careful enough you could end up with a completely different project that has ticket VIBE instead VIB.

Truckcoin price can rise from the simple fact - total coin supply is only 18.4 million coins with only 40% will be released in ICO on 1 November 2017 where the rest of coins will be released for mining.
As you can start mining Truckcoin with the lowest difficulty level and do not need to buy expensive mining hardware or pay a lot for electricity until a coin is mined, this should definetely attract a lot of miners and the higher the demand for the limited coin offer will be, the higher its price will increase.
Today, the price of truckcoin has increased to 0.001578 btc. Before pre ICO,truckcoin team predicted that the presale would take atleast 30 days to get completed. But surprisingly, all the presale tokens were sold out within a day.It shows the high demand for it in the market.I think that it would be remembered as one of the successful presale ICOs in the history.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin soars $8000, Is this is the best opportunity to sell BTC? on: November 21, 2017, 03:16:18 AM
No.Don't get excited on seeing this price.Bitcoin deserves more than this.As there is no threat now for bitcoin near by,we could expect bitcoin to continue to move in bullish trend through out this year.

Unless you have desperate need for money, don't ever sell your bitcoins.China's threat is already over.Roger ver's motive to pump BCH and replace bitcoin with BCH has failed.Also,segwit2x activation has got cancelled since a block of more than 1 MB size could not be found to activate segwit 2x and split the chain.

More over,we have not seen the positive effects of CME entering bitcoin market fully.

So,bitcoin could even cross $10,000 by 2017 end and so holding bitcoins would be better.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Bitcoin save Venezuela? on: November 21, 2017, 01:15:09 AM
Its true that more venezuelans are fulfilling their day to day needs by mining bitcoin, but still we could not say that bitcoin has saved venezuela.Government is not at all happy with people using and mining bitcoins.BItcoin mining is illegal there and due to subsidized electricity, people prefer even to mine bitcoins illegally but secretly.Police have arrested many people for mining bitcoins. But still, they continue to mine since they say that income from one mining rig is enough to feed for a whole family there.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin : 62% of Institutional Investors are Buying or Considering on: November 21, 2017, 12:21:34 AM
Its true that nowadays institutional investors are very much interested in investing in bitcoin. They have started to think that ICOs could be the best and easy way to raise the required funds for their new projects.Promising ICO projects could be expected more here after.Even most people of wall street have now started to show interest in investing in bitcoins and they think that they could no more stay away from bitcoin and lose enormous benefits only for the reason that they belong to wall street. Its really an interesting progress in the journey of bitcoin.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin turns out to be the creation of a three letter agency - what then? on: November 20, 2017, 11:31:30 PM
Its true that we could not totally deny that there would be no such aim of agencies.Every one who first enters bitcoin community would not be able to avoid such doubts because the person satoshi who is said to have created this bitcoin is unknown to any one. Most of them say that he does not want to risk his life and so he voluntarily hided his identity. So,it makes some thing to look suspicious. Here,we could not just avoid the words of some world leaders saying that there should be one world order to solve the problems.

So,once again the million dollar question Who created bitcoin arises and it would continue on and on unanswered.
