661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the purposed of kyc been diverted? on: September 19, 2019, 04:34:51 PM
Day in day out there are new projects requiring kyc from investors
Exchanges requiring kyc, for some in order to maximize your ability to withraw large sums of cryptocurrencies and some even before you can trade on the exchange
The bigger question is how safe are our kyc documents?
There is no way to know if your KYC details will be safe in the hands of exchanges, those who owns exchanges are humans too and anything can happen, instead of taking the risk it will be better to get used to DEX exchanges or find some exchanges that doesn't require any KYC details for trading or exchanging coins and tokens
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CHANGE, the only thing that's Constant on: September 17, 2019, 08:52:38 AM
True, Chaange is the only constant thing and we need to welcome the change happening in the space currently, we need to see it in a positive way, how could a project collected $20 million or more from investors and do not know how to generate revenue with it, we first need to weed these fake and zombie projects away from the space for the space to have room to grow
So what do you think will be the most effective way to weed out those fake projects out of crypto space for good? because i still don't know why regulation is not been consider yet,its always one postponement after the other, only bitcoin investors that invest at the beginning of this year are the ones who is benefiting from this present market condition
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when a coin reaches the maximum supply??? on: September 17, 2019, 08:47:23 AM
Many people always got it wrong about max supply running to zero, its a good thing actually when such happens because it means the coin have a better adoption rate and the only thing that will stop is mining since there is nothing left to mine anymore, this will even make the coin more scarce than before ultimately making it more valuable
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Browser extensions can steal bitcoin on: September 15, 2019, 05:44:09 PM
Its been a long time since ive knew that browser extensions are bad news and in fact they should consider red flags, you can easily get viruses on your pc or even spyware but the latest news about these so called browser extensions is they can be used to steal your coins, consider this a warning for those who use chrome and mozilla firefox browser extensions regularly. I came across the warning while surfing the internet today.

Browser extensions can help scammers steal your crypto Casa CEO Jeremy Welch warned the audience at the Baltic Honeybadger conference in Riga this weekend.

Sorry i couldn't drop link to the full news because i got the warning news from pivot news which would require you to download app before reading any news, share this warning with friends and crypto fans especially newbies
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IEOs is a game for top exchanges. on: September 15, 2019, 05:30:27 PM
IEO is a real game changer for many big exchanges this year and its advisable for new projects to always find their way to top exchanges for their fundraising activities, doing so will give them better results in volume and liquidity and many more investors will have no choice but to invest as far as the project has a real working product backing it up
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects plan from the very start on: September 15, 2019, 05:26:20 PM
A lot of projects are doing things exactly in the same oder and the problem is that it is very difficult to detect such a project from the very beginning. If funds collection goes well, team is doing their work, developing product without any sign of a scam and stop operating within the next several months.
What i always try to do with this kinda of situation is always try to find out if the project i am trying to promote has bigger reputation to protect, if the project has a well known team or CEO it might be a good choice because it will be hard for such project to turn scam
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra has been hacked! on: September 15, 2019, 05:22:35 PM
So libra project got hacked before launch? this is nit a good news at all, it would have been a different story if libra team are the one that give hackers trial to hack libra but this is not the case which means libra is a failed project and its really so embarrassing for facebook
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Exchanges, an end to good projects. on: September 14, 2019, 10:05:37 AM
It is almost impossible to believe that after developing a good project which might likely succeed because of the product, some so-called developers and teams will still go ahead and list in a shit exchange all in the name of reducing the listing fund or all in the name of no fund to list in the big exchange, if you cannot afford good exchange, why not continue with the development of the project to be able to attract the right investors, why rush to a shit exchange. So many projects that could have succeeded have been buried by shit exchange, and if you care to know, you are the reason why we still have shit exchange because the owners of shit exchange knew that some daft developers and team will surely come and list their projects. Why will someone prepare a good meal and then decide to keep it in a cabinet full of cockroaches? Wake up.
I won't put all the blames on the developers because many project failed in their fund raising either in ICO or IEO so they won't be able to list on better exchanges,it costs lot of money to list on big exchanges like bittrex or huobi not to talk of binance exchange
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects plan from the very start on: September 14, 2019, 09:34:30 AM
Not all new projects are the same,i have no luck in bounties yet but i have seen few new projects since 2018 that have become succesful and they have good trading volume too, many projects are scammers though but at the same time we have few ones that are good, its all about no risk no reward in crypto space
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Toast Wallet Safe? on: September 14, 2019, 09:23:39 AM
Becareful if you want to use new wallets, many of they are scam in disguised, its preferable to use popular wallets but if you want to take the risk then consider the following
1. Make sure its not a online web wallet
2. Make sure its open source
3. Make sure you have access to your private keys or recovery seed atleast
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Blockchain. Hello Hashgraph. on: September 13, 2019, 05:46:17 AM
It doesn't really matter, for example bitcoin is the granddaddy of crypto coins but many altcoins have better features than bitcoin and not a singe one of these so called altcoins are able to kick the king's (bitcoin) crown out of its head for a whooping 10years and counting, the fact is will people choose hashgraph over bitcoin? i doubt it
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to new projects? on: September 13, 2019, 05:36:45 AM
Its not all failed project are to be blamed, many new projects are indeed very good but they are been affected by present altcoin situation, to be frank altcoin market is not in a very good shape at all so this will be a big problem for many startup projects unless the devs have enough funds to go with highest exchanges like binance for IEO fund raising
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT A SIGN OF FAILURE OR Scam? on: September 13, 2019, 05:32:30 AM
I have seen series of signature bounty campaigns that make their payments in bitcoin and ethereum for people of high ranks in the forum to wear their signature code, avatar and personal text.
These people of high ranks are sometimes seen by the newbies as the experts who can only or mostly campaign for projects with great potentials. The project teams seems to also believe this to the point that they pay them in bitcoin or ethereum in believe that those high rank members wearing their signature codes will attract investors for them.
Some of these projects end up being a waste of investors' funds and times.
Now my point is, if the high rank signature hunters really believe a cryptocurrency project will be success, why don't they accept it as payment? Does it mean they already foresee that the token will end up being a shit in the end?

KONOIS (KON) token is an example of such projects
Do not make decisions based on members rank either legendary or sir members, whatever signature they are wearing its a risk been taken just like any jr member or full member did, Ranks doesn't give a genuine outcome of projects, whether scam or not its all about risk taking even after strict researches
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: September 13, 2019, 05:23:55 AM
Not projects with real use cases, Crypto adoption rate is growing marginally and a country like china is a big example of how good adoption rate can be in future, the only cryptos that will surfer and die are useless projects with no real use cases or valid working products
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I've taken my eye off bounty hunters comments on: September 12, 2019, 10:09:14 PM
Many people still can't stand on their own decisions thats why they easily get swayed by these deceiving bounty hunters, they spread the news not to join a bounty project just to avoid getting many bounty hunters on such bounty project for more rewards, my dear friends learn to stand your ground and belief in your own research

677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining rigs end up dead on: September 10, 2019, 12:48:20 PM
I have been in a really heart broken state since yesterday, two of my mining rigs stopped working and after several troubleshoots i finally get what the problem is,guess what? the processors in my motherboards are both dead ....

I haven't even earn my investment back, its not even up to two years yet,i stopped mining few months ago because mining is not profitable to me anymore but now i ended up with dead motherboards
If you have the money to spare for mining someday consider investing in asic miners, they are durable and last longer than Graphic cards, there are asic miners that can mine Ethash algo coins as well and even asic for cryptonight coins as well if you don't want to mine bitcoin.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: September 10, 2019, 12:42:37 PM
There had come many ICOs in 2017 and a good number of STOs in 2018 and many IEOs in 2019 but hardly a few have made it to 'relatively better than others' list.
I wonder why haven't there come potential coins like ether. The only project that looked promising to me this year was bittorrent which was lauched on binance launchpad.
But even that is not going so well these days.

Is the world out of ideas or solutions?
There have been many good projects since IEO enter crypto space people aren't  looking where they should look that's why they think there is no more good projects worth investing in,even few projects like the following did showed up for bounty hunters and they make good profit
Tecra coin
Veil project
Titan coin
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The best exchange in 2019? on: September 10, 2019, 12:26:53 PM
Hello friends, I want to ask about the most widely used exchanges for daily trading. Is Binance the best or Bitmax? Give your reason, aside from the volume. Nice to wait for your opinion here.
Binance is the best exchange so far, might be Bitmax for some but i use binance exchange very well over bitmax, i just like the exchange service better, no wash trade aka fake volume or any other bad act like other exchanges
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of this Exchange jetxcoins.com on: September 07, 2019, 10:34:46 PM
I'm New here but I've been into crypto since 2016. I faced this today but I was not scammed. But I think I should share it here because I know many might also get to face this later because of what it relates to.
There is a Fake Exchange now which is http://jetxcoins.com. This exchange is being used by scammers to make you deposits 0.02 btc and after then you won't be able to withdraw any.
I notice that this exchange is new and scam after someone contacted me on Telegram and asking me for help. To help him withdraw, showing me several screenshot as proof of him not being able to withdraw from the exchange. I was willing to help at the beginning but I later use my senses and put my heart at one side. Then, i realised its scam.  Wink

How will you be tricked to deposit 0.02 btc?
This is how it will happen
Someone will contact you saying he is having problem withdrawing from the exchange because his country was restricted.
So he will ask for your help to make new account with the exchange so that he can send the btc to you.
And Yes. You will receive some btc after signing up and giving him your email
He will ask you to withdraw to your btc wallet but you won't be able to withdraw because you need to deposit 0.02 btc to be able to trade or withdraw.
If you deposit a dime, Count them as gone or say bye bye to them.
This site is http://jetxcoins.com

The website is already a red flag the moment i saw it in HTTP instead of https,i think the only one who can fall for this is newbies who just recently join crypto space, this is something very serious cos hackers can use this to hack someone accounts as well in form of phishing
