..
that error is a bitch to fix at times.

I am curious. What is a 43 code error? I have noticed that it is often mentioned. Also, I got an offer to buy cheap a few cards with that error.
Is it a hardware or software error?
whether it appears on all type of cards AMD & nVidia?
IS it possible to be fixed?
Is that error reflected only on windows or on any OS?
I can't really say if it's hardware or software related issue, I'm also familiar with that error code on radeon vii and users said they got the error after gaming or intense use like mining, this is the first time I'm seeing a RX5700XT with error43 code
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How does bear moves affect mining? on: February 24, 2021, 10:13:22 AM
I guess prices drop and mining rewards get higher but
How does it work with mining of bitcoin and other alt coins
when prices dropping and people panic selling ??

Hopefully it brings GPU prices down.
Graphic cards price aren't coming down as far as mining remains profitable, even if ethereum turn 500$ again graphic cards price will only come down unless mining is not profitable anymore, I'm looking forward to the EIP1559 launch, this will at least solve the high gas fee issue
cards prices will go down if profit 30mhs=0.3$
I've never seen 30MH producing 0.3$ per day before, that's unreal, the lowest I've seen 30MH goes was 0.7$ per day, I believe that gpu price will start going down once 30mh starts giving 1$ per day but that day is still far away
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Finally GPU mining is dead... on: February 24, 2021, 09:57:20 AM
as in you'd drop dead if you knew the profits.

where's metroid btw?

I'm here hehe, for the record that phase we have seen from july 2018 to july 2020 will return again very soon, it was 24 months of misery, agony and negative profits and yeah I called that.

Grin Grin Grin Look who is the biggest troll here Grin Grin Grin

I do mine for hobby not for profit, trading is for profit not hobby, where most of you trolls sold eth for 100 ~ 400, I myself sold for 1k and most at 2k, better be safe than sorry, I have few gpus at moment, bought last december 2 x 3080 evga ftw3, i have few other gpus, 1x 470, 2x gtx 1070.

And I will do just the same thing I did last time, I will wait this bull market to crash 95% again and will again buy coins. I will not buy gpus to mine on the bear market, that is stupid and for the record who follows my advice is doing good, i said last year to buy coins not gpus, after eth hit 900 usd then i said to buy gpus not coins, risk of buying coins is still very high at moment as this can crash anytime, so I advise any to buy gpus if price is right if not then wait this to crash 95% and then buy coins. As for myself I will just wait this bull market to crash, not in a hurry and right now I see thieves wanting to sell 3080 for 2k already hehe, if you can get a 3080 for 1k or less then go for it, if more than that then forget.
Good advice sir Metroid, I bought gpus when eth already reached 1k, I guess I was in a dummy mode at the time, my loss haha, I used to own 12 ETH but too blind to see that bull season will eventually return again, I would have earned a lot right now, anyways I have free electricity and if bear market returns isn't it better to just keep mining?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Great miners in the house, your help is needed! on: February 23, 2021, 08:59:11 AM
I want to ask this question from you people, so if I underclock my gpu to 80watts it's really still not 80 watts that the miner is showing me on it's dashboard? I thought this way I'm drawing lesser power? Then what's the talk of reducing power draw on mining rigs all about? It seems they don't work
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash crazy profit since two hours ago now on: February 23, 2021, 08:55:26 AM
Lol, lately bitcoin is losing its stand and ethereum is greatly affected, right now price is back to 1500$ per ethereum, I know it's not over yet for this bull season but many people panicked, there will be corrections for more future uptrend, that's for sure and people don't understand that
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we trust Stablecoin ? on: February 23, 2021, 08:52:54 AM
Why not? Stable coin is the fastest safe haven nearer that crypto investors can run to if bull season start going bear season, its the easiest way of avoiding price volatility, I trust stable coin because of their usefulness in trading and in investments
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Have 4GB Cards Gone Obsolete with ETH mining? on: February 22, 2021, 11:14:15 AM
I had some cards laying around since the 2016 mining frenzy, and decided to recently build back my rigs on SMOS.

I noticed though that all my 4GB cards are hashing at 8mh/s while my 8GB cards are hashing at their normal ~30MH/s speed

Is there any way to increase the mining speed for those 4gb cards? They are pretty useless at those speeds, especially their power draw is the same as when they were hashing at ~28

Would appreciate any help in getting those 4GB cards to hash some profits with better hashrate.

Running Phoenix Miner v5.5 (Tried previous Phoenix versions as well)
Those power draw are insanely high, a single RX470 should be using 80watt max for ethereum mining, you are burning away electricity my friend, also yes 4gb memory is now useless for ethereum mining right now, you should look into lolminer, it's giving some 22-25mh per second
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ok, GPU on the way, any help building the rest of my gaming/mining rig (canada) on: February 22, 2021, 11:08:08 AM
well, glad no one wasted their time helping me build a system...

Ordered the 5700rx last night from staples, they emailed me right away confirming and took money from my account.

An hour later they emailed me saying order cancelled, they had 0 stock at the time my order went thru... they still havent refunded my bank account... should I hold out hope or???
RX5700XT isn't the only graphic card you can use for mining, if the card ain't available look into the ones that are available, RX6800XT, or 2x RX5500XT also we have Nvidia GPUS that are good for mining too, RTX3060ti or 3070 a
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ok, GPU on the way, any help building the rest of my gaming/mining rig (canada) on: February 22, 2021, 11:04:37 AM
Hey everyone

Was able to order a 5700xt, it should arrive in 3 days or so.

My current gaming desktop is an old i7 930 with a geforce 750ti, I am thinking of buying/building a new system to house the new 5700xt.

Can anyone help with a parts list I can start ordering for a solid build?  Was thinking amd but im flexible, just looking for a solid build.  Alot of the youtube builds are decent but the prices and items they link are all much higher than when the video was made, if anyone has a good build/parts list with current pricing id appreciate it.

I need everything but the GPU.

Id prefer to buy quality parts, of good build that have either a solid warranty or will last me a long time.  At least for the PSU and the motherboard.  The ram, I am hoping to get 2 sticks for dual channel mode.  Other than that my only other preference would be for future upgradeability of the motherboard (ie, i hope to put a 2nd gpu in there someday when prices/availability comes around so a big enough case and mobo for that)

This rig will be mainly for gaming, and will likely run at least 18 hours a day for the next 3 years+

Any and all efforts spent compiling lists will be greatly appreciated!!!!
You said the videos on youtube consists of pc parts that are too costly and yet you said you want quality build, are you listening to yourself? Anyways, you only need a motherboard with a PCIe slot for gpu since you are going to mine with just one RX5700XT, to cut down the costs it's better to buy a used  complete PC, just insert the gpu and power it up it's not hard
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ZOTAC GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC as a mining card ?... on: February 21, 2021, 09:34:34 AM
Any brand of gpu will work for mining, even if it's fanless or water cooling it doesn't matter, they will perform the same way as other graphics card, as per what type of power supply can power 5x 3070 a 1000watt power supply will do fine
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you profit gain from this bull, my one is same as previous on: February 21, 2021, 09:31:19 AM
I have been turning $500 to almost $100k from flow and i have been making a lot of money from dogecoin which around 8x.
I have been reserving more than 20 ethereum in my wallet and it was getting 6x from my initial buy. I have been earning almost 500k USD in total from my initial investment Q1 last year.
I think that there are lots of holders that have been making a lot of money too. Someone was making 2k to the 500k from investing in flow project. Dude, you can be a rich person from crypto.
Wow, is this for real? I've never make that kind of insane profits from crypto before, I'm speechless, the highest I made was 2000$ and that's not even from this bullrun but from projects I promoted in 2020, congratulations mate, you've make it big
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And yet another problem for promoters on: February 21, 2021, 09:28:34 AM
Pray you don't earn pennies in every bounties you promote because I believe that many projects won't want to pay in other coins except their own native tokens, if you earned better value worth of tokens selling the token won't be a problem, you will only have to sacrifice 12-25$ max for transaction
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Error when mining XMR with GPU on: February 20, 2021, 09:12:15 AM
Information is short, what type of gpu you using? If it's old card no miner can detect and mine with the gpu because new mining softwares don't support old gpus anymore, you can download nicehash to try it out too
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: form factor for rtx20/30 series? on: February 20, 2021, 09:05:33 AM
How many PCIe slots are available on the ATX motherboard? You will need to buy gpu risers to use all the graphic cards on the motherboard, also I've known ATX motherboards to always comes with low rated power supplies, 350watts to 450watts, you will need to buy strong power supply too, depending on how many graphics card you have, 1000watt is perfect
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rx 470 4Gb On Raven on: February 20, 2021, 08:38:40 AM
Just run 1100 MHz on core and 2000 Mhz on memory and you'll fine. Undervolt some like 850 mV maybe.
The most stable overclock settings for a rx470 I had here is 1200MHZ for core and 2100 for MHZ, overclocking stability depends entirely on the memory of the gpu, mine is a OC editing Micron memory, I used 850mV too
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AMA With AMEPAY - Staking Powered By Ferrum Network on: February 17, 2021, 05:38:25 PM
I have thousands of amepay token in my wallet right now but why would I want to sell when products isn't even launched yet? I heard the team are planning to switch to a separate block chain and leave erc20 smart contract behind, thats a good sign that amepay team have the best interest for this project
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin did you make the most money from? on: February 17, 2021, 05:35:35 PM
Ethereum

I got my ethereum when pandemic hit the world in march 2020 and thats around 180$ per ethereum, honestly I knew that was the right time for crypto to prove its worth and I knew this day will come, I don't count or see this as luck, its meant to happen
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rx580 overclocking on: February 17, 2021, 05:30:29 PM
Embarrassed I'm surprised I get too low comments on here anyways I achieved near 30mh hours ago with new clock settings, I noticed that AMD clocking ideas is way different from Nvidia, I had to lower voltage using wattman to get 90watts power draw and memory clock at 2150 did amazing job, if there is anyone like me facing same issue give this a try, thanks everyone who replied
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have some 16000 usd but need to know investment portion on: February 16, 2021, 09:51:26 AM
If that's all you have its better to split into two parts and keep the rest for backup plans, things can go side ways unexpectedly so when planning forward always be ready for any drag backs, also make sure you don't put all the money on a project, diversity is the best strategy in crypto investment
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking profit can be hard sometimes. on: February 16, 2021, 09:48:00 AM
In 2021 taking profits are hard if you are holding tokens, why? Gas fee is extremely high, if you don't have over 200$ wort of tokens there is no point sending the tokens to exchange , I can live with 20% or 50% gains but the present gas fee is letting me down
