61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Wallet hacked - Funds lost on: February 07, 2021, 07:12:07 AM
Don't ever store private keys and recovery seed on windows PC because once your PC is infected by trojan or malware they can spy on your files and have access to them, also private keys are more safer offline, done keep or store in email accounts, be more cautious next time, sorry for your loss
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible that watts draw follows Temp? on: February 02, 2021, 05:31:17 PM
Miners performs better when they are cool, when temperature is too high their performance can go lower and they could even draw more energy, I'm not surprised, before building rigs always consider cooling methods, the less the cooling temp the better
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nvidia 1070 mining program on: February 02, 2021, 05:24:43 PM
You can't get more than 29mhs with a gtx1070, just download Nicehash and start mining, it's very easy to setup, all you need is drop a withdrawal btc address, this software mines eth and pay you in BTC, i kinda prefer gtx1080ti better because of ETHlargement Pill solution, I'm not sure it works on gtx1070, this gives 50% hashrate more to gtx1080
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any advantage at all? on: February 02, 2021, 05:21:09 PM
You will still get the same results in shares solving, the advantage of using two motherboards is you will get lesser heats and get shares solved faster I guess but more electricity since the motherboards have different watts and even CPUs too, I like using 6x gpus on a single motherboard than having more
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Experience as a first time miner on: February 02, 2021, 05:17:53 PM
Well compared to four years ago things are different now because we have more new mining softwares that makes things more easier, the only mining softwares that are easy to use in 2016-2017 was minergate and nicehash, minergate has bad service so that leaves only nicehash standing, other miners in 2016 are all like running codes through command, it was not easy and I learned the hard way, today it's a piece of cake to setup a miner
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: February 01, 2021, 04:22:25 PM
Physical gold is more safer than crypto but less Profitable compares to crypto gains, the only thing I can say here is crypto future remains uncertainty, anything can still happen as there is no single assurance of anything but gold future is 100% certain, the choice is left for us to make
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AC cooling option a good one? on: February 01, 2021, 03:09:14 PM
It depends on your electricity, air conditioner only makes sense to me if you have free electricity to power it, I believe a AC draws up to 1500watts, that's way too much for a mining farm, it's better to go with other options like fans that consumes very low wattage
Yes it matter if you paying 0.1$ for 1kw. in my case it is not free but almost free. in my country 1kw is 0.0007$ so i dont even calculate electric bill. i use air conditioning and very effective and no dust.
Which country is that?  Shocked Shocked Shocked that's insanely cheap electric, if I'm paying that less for electricity I would mine with many old obsolete asic miners, are you from Africa ?
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MSI 580 8gb Micron memory hashrate issue on: February 01, 2021, 03:06:42 PM
If you can take your time with overclocking and downclocking you will eventually get the best settings for RX580, here is what I'm using presently that's giving me 30mh per second with 90 watts, my RX 580 Is also micron memory

Core clock 1070
Memory clock 2136
Fan speed 70
Core voltage -162

The trick is reducing the core voltage to limit energy consumption, use msi afterburner and unlock the core voltage in settings
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Motherboard won't boot with two GPUs installed on: February 01, 2021, 03:03:17 PM
Grab yourself some powered risers on ebay, they cost less around 5 to 7$ per one, the motherboard may not be able to provide all needed watts to the card so it won't boot up that is if you are sure that the second card is also running fine alone
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Lowest energy possible? on: January 31, 2021, 06:50:19 AM
1. Change your HDD or SSD to USB pen drive or flash drive, they consume very loss energy
2. You don't need those DVD rewritable too, better disconnect them
3. It's better to use those usb wireless than the hardware ones that looks like a sound card, and also work on your GPUs too to lower energy consumption
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Updates while mining cause reboots on: January 31, 2021, 06:45:23 AM
If you don't like the updates and reboots while mining then you need to consider a mining OS that's running on Linux build, for example hiveOS, EthOS, Minerstat OS, Simplemining OS, etc, they don't need any constant updates like those on windows OS
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to Choose better Bounty Projects? on: January 31, 2021, 06:36:46 AM
Another advantage of bounties with low bounty allocation is they are easily paid out to bounty hunters compared to this bounties that promised to pay high amount of money in tokens after doing ends, they hardly keep their promises or the tokens end up worthless due to giving away too many quantities of the tokens
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to Choose better Bounty Projects? on: January 31, 2021, 06:35:05 AM

3. ICO Bounty budget (% of ICO tokens for the whole bounty program): sometime the percentage of bounty allocation is so poor that you recieve a penny for your months of hardwork. bounty hunter is not a difficult job but you have to invest a good amount of time to fulfill the steps asked by manager. simply the projects runs for few weeks to months hence, this time cost is your expense to get the return of bounty rewards.

It depends on the quality of the project, I've seen some bounties with low allocation of 0.01% from the token or coin max supply but the tokens end up having high value, an example is PoolZ which gives out 25,000 pieces of tokens and now one token worths 14$, that's 350,000$
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Past experience could help the future on: January 29, 2021, 10:37:20 AM
Now that 2020 is over I will like to talk about some interesting bounty projects of the time that stick to their promise and pay good amount of rewards to their promoters

1. Cartesi
2. Hex
3. DIA
4. Lattice
5. Oikos round one
5. Youengine
6. ARCS
7. Injective protocol

Here are the lists of the most disapointing bounty projects of 2020

1. Blockburn
2. Emirex
3. Dain. ai
4. IBID
5. Emodot

What's on your list? Which project fulfill their promise and which doesn't ?
Cartesi and DIA are the ones that made a good payment and paid the hunters a decent amount of money for their effort to help the project to be promoted and these bounties are managed by bubbalex. These two projects were listed in binance.
You are wrong, DIA and Cartesi are good but it doesn't ends there, lattice bounty was highly Profitable too, even the HEX bounty from bounty detective was also huge, they used limited participants strategy making the rewards pretty high, I hope we will see more good projects this year
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Beware, Traps from scammers via Telegram Groups on: January 29, 2021, 10:34:52 AM

I found this Private Key: 07275560b35064a1c3ffdaefa69fee2a7176cae53397ae4e7b29138b45384337 on several telegram groups, with a very tantalizing total balance, but on this occasion I would like to advise newbies not to deposit into the wallet, because some people have tried to make ETH deposits to take away tokens was in that wallet, everything failed because the ETH balance was immediately lost, so Please be careful of these kinds of things.

Private Key : 07275560b35064a1c3ffdaefa69fee2a7176cae53397ae4e7b29138b45384337

I see in the picture are minereum tokens these coins are locked (by the way I have lots of does on my wallet LVL 1) you need to upgrade it to level 3 so you can transfer it to another wallet or to exchange it, even doe you have the private keys of this wallet it is still useless you can't move or trade this coin. This is just a trap for newbies and for people who don't know about this type of coin🤣🤣
I think minereum is a scam token, everyone was given the free tokens at first as if it's real airdrop but only to be told that they need to upgrade levels, how is this a real project? Have you seen anyone that upgrade to LVL 3 and was able to sell the tokens? The team know what they are doing
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Beware, Traps from scammers via Telegram Groups on: January 29, 2021, 10:29:25 AM
As old as this scamming trick is I'm surprised it still works till this day, it shows that human can't be separated from their grids, they can only learn to control their greed, people need to understand that there is no such thing as free money in the world today, there is always something fishy about free money

78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC for bounty hunters on: December 06, 2020, 10:35:14 AM
I have seen so many bounty people make multiple accounts and cheat bounty campaign, is it not possible for forum or bounty managers to make kyc compulsory for bounty guys?
Those who have done kyc will get instant approval

That's not the bounty managers call to implement KYC, some projects are complete open source and they don't see any need to collect people's identity for any reason sake, some new projects are even decentralized, how will such project implement KYC? It's breaking the law of decentralization isn't it?
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters, I need some advice on: December 06, 2020, 10:32:53 AM
We are an company from China, Our APP had 775523 users.
But we don't know how to spread our project in your guys country.
we hold an airdrop bounty but it looks don't have any effect, can you give me some advice?

this is our bounty thread.

Here is a piece of advices I can share

1. Airdrops don't have impact on new projects anymore, people have walked away from Airdrops since 2018 because they are worthless
2. You need better to attract investors, my suggestion is finding a reputable bounty manager on this forum, like bubbalex, Hhampuz etc, they may agreed to introduce your project it the project is good enough for them.
3. Your team need to be creative themselves, find good partnerships, open AMA online, do some giveaway etc
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Technology is rendering the fiat money system of the 20th Century obsolete on: December 05, 2020, 10:17:54 AM
Some people will still prefers Fiat over digital currency because they are used to Fiat, this isn't something we can decide for ourselves, it depends on the public, remember if  the public turn their back on bitcoin it will eventually kill bitcoin, crypto isn't powerful enough to erase centralized entity off crypto space, decentralized and centralized projects and organizations still exists till date but the purpose of crypto is decentralization so why centralized involvement?
