1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Does this make any sense? on: June 04, 2021, 06:22:10 PM
Crypto experts in the house please your attention is very needed right now, does it even make any sense to burn of tokens max supply gradually when the token or project have not been listed on exchanges? Does this make any sense?? Thanks
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is to hold should not be trading on: June 04, 2021, 08:24:19 AM
I don't by the idea of continuous holding when the coin you have is reaching a new ATH, not taking profits is the biggest regrets because in the end you wasted your time holding for nothing, the reason why we hold is to take advantage of the market, sell high and buy back at low price
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one wants to talk about ATL on: June 04, 2021, 07:48:06 AM
All time low is when the whole market is bleeding hard, in mid 2018 and 2019 most altcoins lose 85% of their value compare to their ATH so I believe ATL aka bear market should be the buying time and ATH aka bull season should be the selling time
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin listed on Coinbase pro on: June 04, 2021, 07:42:57 AM
Doge coin will survive through any weather for sure and that's because it's a old coin but mind you the value will go down alot once the real bear market begins
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Trust wallet stealing seed phrase. on: June 03, 2021, 05:11:02 PM
When I first see your topic I thought it's another fake app on playstore but it's a website lol, who dares trust xyz websites? They are used by those who can't even afford a good domain anyways thanks for sharing this will be useful for newbies who are always in rush
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cookies in broswers on: June 03, 2021, 05:09:15 PM
If you are an Android user, try ditching Google entirely. Download DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser. The browser can protect user data, it automatically deletes cookies after you visit any sites. In addition, it has an add-on that will ask you about the possibility of allowing cookies for certain sites.
I think brave browser offers the same features too but I don't see any reason why i should get rid of a browser for another on my android phone because honestly I've never had any issue with security or whatsoever, I think it's an unnecessary stress
7  Economy / Economics / Re: A bubble is when price is not justified on: June 03, 2021, 02:50:29 PM
A bubble is not about how high is the price of something (tulip bulbs, diamonds, dot-com stocks...), it is when the price is not justified. It is a bit for everyone to decide if the price of an asset is justified really, there is not a magic formula that will tell you if it is. In stocks or investments you can make a "discounted cash-flow" apply a rate of return and make some hypothesis about economy, growth and "moat" and at least you will get a number from it. On other assets, the price will be fixed by supply and demand (and that is the case for bitcoin) since they do not produce a regular cash flow.

When it comes to decide if there is a bubble, you have to think about how much is worth to you. How much would you pay to get, e.g. a 4% in dividend instead of spending the money today in a car or a TV? How much would you pay for a diamond or even a soccer ticket? (my personal for those two is quite low)? Or, How much would you pay for 1 in 21 million bitcoins?

Getting to the point, bubbles happen when you start buying something just because you think someone will pay more for it, instead of looking at how useful is it for you or for a community of people. Buying something is actually telling the market that they are wrong, and what you are buying is worth more than what the consensus means. This is being contrarian, anything else is speculating and creating bubbles.

bubbles happen when you start buying something just because you think someone will pay more for it? Isn't that pointing at gold and other valuable items or assets as well? Valuable things tend to grow higher in price as time goes on, the only thing that separate BTC from bubble is the high volatility part
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO the best way to invest in cryptocurrency? on: June 02, 2021, 02:35:24 PM
ICO is one of the ways to invest earlier in a crypto project and there is one reason why I like ICo, that's because of its freedom of buying the tokens, no KYC forced, though not all of them but majority and anyone can buy the coins or tokens unlike IDO and IEO that depends on you buying some other coins to hold to be able to qualify for the new tokens which is rubbish
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite NFT? on: June 02, 2021, 02:31:52 PM
I'm looking into Vulcan forged, used to be fan of decentraland and axie infinity among few others and so far I have full confidence in NFT projects that are based on gaming, they are way more better than ART NFT projects
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When sell holding alt coin in profit? on: June 02, 2021, 06:08:26 AM
When should long-held alt coins be sold? When to sell even when we are in profit? That doesn't make sense. Let me know if there is a suitable alternative to this issue.
Crypto market is like a rolling ball, there wil always be bear market and bull market so the best time to sell is bull market and the best time to buy is bear market, take profits and wait for the whole market to crash before buying back again
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Understanding a bear market. on: June 01, 2021, 04:59:13 PM
BTC was once 3000+ and ETH at that time was around 160$ each, if you've filled your bags at this time you are already millionaire unless you buy too little, bear market looks like a bad season to many but honestly it's the perfect sowing season
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DogeCoin will Flip Bitcoin on: June 01, 2021, 04:55:36 PM
McDonald and Starbucks aren't that stupid to leave the top coin like BTC for dogecoin when dogecoin is just meme coin, I'm sure many newbies are holding dogecoin that's why they having different types of wild dream that's never going to be possible, what you guys bought is a shitcoin
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Have you given up on airdrop? on: June 01, 2021, 09:16:27 AM
Two out of hundreds airdrop are legit, in crypto space today teams are ready to cheat you even if their projects aren't scam, bounty hunters knows what I'm talking about, just because the project is trading on exchanges doesn't really mean you wil get your tokens
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in coins built on Ethereum or alt coins that are independent? on: June 01, 2021, 05:39:57 AM
Crypto investment is all about the right timing and don't stay too long, since it's a circle thing you also have to wait for another good opportunity, you can't just buy because price is growing, whichever coin you decide to buy make sure you only risk what you can afford to lose because right now no one knows where the market is headed
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IDO and KYC on: May 31, 2021, 06:45:57 PM
You have to pass KYC verification if you want to take advantage of IDO or wait to buy on listed exchanges which means buying at higher price already, some coins would have triple in value when IDO is over and trading is live on exchange

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gigabyte rx 5700 xt on: February 24, 2021, 10:22:02 AM
..
that error is a bitch to fix at times.

I am curious. What is a 43 code error? I have noticed that it is often mentioned. Also, I got an offer to buy cheap a few cards with that error.
Is it a hardware or software error?
whether it appears on all type of cards AMD & nVidia?
IS it possible to be fixed?
Is that error reflected only on windows or on any OS?
I can't really say if it's hardware or software related issue, I'm also familiar with that error code on radeon vii and users said they got the error after gaming or intense use like mining, this is the first time I'm seeing a RX5700XT with error43 code
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How does bear moves affect mining? on: February 24, 2021, 10:13:22 AM
I guess prices drop and mining rewards get higher but
How does it work with mining of bitcoin and other alt coins
when prices dropping and people panic selling ??

Hopefully it brings GPU prices down.
Graphic cards price aren't coming down as far as mining remains profitable, even if ethereum turn 500$ again graphic cards price will only come down unless mining is not profitable anymore, I'm looking forward to the EIP1559 launch, this will at least solve the high gas fee issue
cards prices will go down if profit 30mhs=0.3$
I've never seen 30MH producing 0.3$ per day before, that's unreal, the lowest I've seen 30MH goes was 0.7$ per day, I believe that gpu price will start going down once 30mh starts giving 1$ per day but that day is still far away
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Finally GPU mining is dead... on: February 24, 2021, 09:57:20 AM
as in you'd drop dead if you knew the profits.

where's metroid btw?

I'm here hehe, for the record that phase we have seen from july 2018 to july 2020 will return again very soon, it was 24 months of misery, agony and negative profits and yeah I called that.

Grin Grin Grin Look who is the biggest troll here Grin Grin Grin

I do mine for hobby not for profit, trading is for profit not hobby, where most of you trolls sold eth for 100 ~ 400, I myself sold for 1k and most at 2k, better be safe than sorry, I have few gpus at moment, bought last december 2 x 3080 evga ftw3, i have few other gpus, 1x 470, 2x gtx 1070.

And I will do just the same thing I did last time, I will wait this bull market to crash 95% again and will again buy coins. I will not buy gpus to mine on the bear market, that is stupid and for the record who follows my advice is doing good, i said last year to buy coins not gpus, after eth hit 900 usd then i said to buy gpus not coins, risk of buying coins is still very high at moment as this can crash anytime, so I advise any to buy gpus if price is right if not then wait this to crash 95% and then buy coins. As for myself I will just wait this bull market to crash, not in a hurry and right now I see thieves wanting to sell 3080 for 2k already hehe, if you can get a 3080 for 1k or less then go for it, if more than that then forget.
Good advice sir Metroid, I bought gpus when eth already reached 1k, I guess I was in a dummy mode at the time, my loss haha, I used to own 12 ETH but too blind to see that bull season will eventually return again, I would have earned a lot right now, anyways I have free electricity and if bear market returns isn't it better to just keep mining?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Great miners in the house, your help is needed! on: February 23, 2021, 08:59:11 AM
I want to ask this question from you people, so if I underclock my gpu to 80watts it's really still not 80 watts that the miner is showing me on it's dashboard? I thought this way I'm drawing lesser power? Then what's the talk of reducing power draw on mining rigs all about? It seems they don't work
