Regarding jerky. I should let any prospective customers know that Whereas  I produce all of the frozen beef myself on my own ranch, my butcher has had to purchase beef from other producers to meet the demand for jerky. This has to do with the fact that we only use the round , which is the very lean thigh muscle, when making jerky. There is a about 50 pounds of round on a 900 to 1000 pound steer and after drying during the jerky making process, this translates to about 20 pounds of jerky per animal.
I am working on some other meat snacks that will be available in different favors. This should be available within about a month. I will post an update.

Do you have an approximate price of shipping? I did not see in the first few pages? I have got excited about mail order quality meat before, only to find that shipping exceeds $50 and everything arrives frozen. I know you specified dry ice shipping, but is the met frozen under the dry ice, or more refrigerated on top of it?

Are you able to cut porterhouse steaks? I'm would be interested in up to 2 porterhouses, 2 ribeye, and 2lbs of ground.
I have had inquiries for selling fresh, never frozen beef before. The biggest problems have to do with storing the meat safely awaiting sale and then safely shipping it. So, as do now, I am only able to ship frozen meat.

I have not done porterhouse cuts before. I can order from the butcher but unfortunately that requires a lead time that is usually 2 to 6 weeks. If you are sure you want some, let me know how many and I will figure a price and with my next steer get these cuts.

Do you have any jerky available for sale? How many ounces roughly are the $15 ribeye steaks?

Lastly, do you still accept BTC as payment? I don't see it listed as an option on the site.

Thanks!
Yes , I have teriyaki jerky 3.5 oz for BTC equivalent of 8 USD. Shipping for jerky is usually 2 USD.  For one packet . Obviously less for increased amounts.

Been meaning to post for a while, but I had a wedding and a home move that got the best of me.  A friend just reminded me about the topic of custom ordered beef.  I've tried Andelin's ground beef and a club steak (aka bone-in ribeye)...  I'll give my verdict in a moment.

My wife and I cook steak once or twice a week, and dishes using ground beef every week or two.  We like ribeyes, NY strips, sirloins, and filets, and we try other cuts on occasion.  We generally purchase 80/20 ground and use it in a variety of dishes.  About a third of the time, we purchase organic / grass fed, higher end beef from stores like Fresh Market, or from a good quality local butcher shop.  The rest of the time, we usually get vacuum sealed steaks at Aldi, which are surprisingly good, chain-of-custody wise and quality wise, although they're very likely factory farmed.

We usually prepare our steaks simply, as we really like the flavor of good beef.  We bring the steak to room temperature, heat a skillet to high heat, melt a pat of butter, slap that steak in there for about 4 minutes, salting the uncooked top, flip it, salt and put a pat of butter on the cooked side... give it another 4 minutes, and serve.  This gives us a medium to medium rare steak, depending on thickness... we go 5 minutes/side if it was a thicker cut.  We stopped grilling after we found this preparation method; it always turns out well.  Sometimes we'll sautee some sliced baby portabellos along with it, in the skillet, and serve those on top.  We rarely marinade anymore either.

So, receiving Andelin's products was straightforward.  He provided a tracking number, and it arrived insulated and dry iced well.  We ate a high-end, grass-fed, organic steak from Fresh Market the same week that we tried Andelin's to best compare it.  We already like such steaks better than our usual Aldi steaks.

Andelin's steak was to organic store bought and good butcher shop steak, what organic store bought and butcher shop bought is to factory-farmed, low-cost, basic beef: it was another, noticeable step above in quality.  We felt the same way about the ground beef.  We found what we consider the highest quality beef we can buy here.  Now that we've settled down from house moving, etc... I'll be placing another order as soon as we have some open freezer space.

TLDR: _Very_ good beef.  Compared against best I can buy in local stores and butcher shop: noticeably superior.

Thanks for the review!

I can ship beef out Sept 22,23, 29,30 if anyone interested in ordering. Just pm me.
Thanks
New to the thread, so shipping is about $25? I'm in texas and would consider about 5 pounds of ribeye, what would be the price? Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for your interest. Ribeyes are ordered as "bone in" ( labeled as club steaks) or boneless. Each one weighs about 12-16 oz and costs 15.00 USD. Shipping is 25.00 USD for the first 10 lbs. That gives a total of 100.00USD or bitcoin equivalent for five ribeyes. I often will give a discount for a first time order to attract your business. If you are interested I will put in some extra cuts with your order at no charge. How about a few Kansas City ( or sometimes called New York ) strips? Just let me know. Just received my beef jerky . Have had a few friends try it..seems quite tender. Teriyaki 4 oz packages. 10.00usd or BTC. For the first round of orders shipping is free. it does contain gluten. Previously I had posted that my butcher stated it did not have gluten. That was an error. Pm order and I will send you a BTC address. Not sure how long it will last. It is selling around already.
Thanks, paul a.

you should add a picture of your farm or beef
so that people will trust to buy from you
Early in the thread are photos of the farm, reviews and photos of the meat also. You can also check www.andelinlivestock.com.
Thanks for the suggestion.

I notice that my website "www.andelinlivestock.com " has some issues in the link to pay with bitcoin. Until I get this fixed if anyone wants to order beef using bitcoins, you can message me on this forum or send me a message by email on the website. Thanks,
Paul A

I had no idea you had a website until the last post on the last page Cheesy

You might want to update your OP to include your website. Right now it just says: "I am working on a website."

Also, do you ship to Canada? I saw a few people discussing it in the thread, but couldn't really find an answer.

+1 on the website....very cool!

Please let me know if your butcher uses any products containing wheat, rye or barley in their jerky mix as I am still very interested in purchasing some quality beef jerky. Most soy and teriyaki sauces have wheat-gluten in their ingredients so it is difficult for me to find quality gluten free beef jerky.
Thanks

My butcher tells me that the jerky does have nitrates in it but does not have gluten. However, I know that some people are extremely sensitive to gluten and that if processing equipment has been used with other gluten containing recipes that the "gluten free" product might have minute amounts of gluten in it.Since this is my first round with the jerky I am a little nervous about this, not wanting to cause anyone a problem. Therefore, if you want to try it, perhaps a small sample first, just to make sure. The jerky will be ready next week. I will have priced posted next week.
