The Lood Company Acquires Six Struggling Adult Crypto Projects [AVN]

In full transparency, by Q4 we are also looking to expand network support to the Sexcoin (SXC) network provided no updates to that project disrupt our plans to do so.

Q1 is looking to be back-loaded with lots of interesting news and even more expansion on the way. The Lood project is a bootstrapped operation with a particularly aggressive stance toward the adult crypto sector and our counterparts. This operation has a few moving pieces, some of which have nothing at all to do with cryptocurrencies. But it would be disingenuous to say that the parts do not make up the whole and we do take our commitment to these projects very seriously. Please keep in mind that this post initially cites the "mobile app" as the microblog. Whereas the site is a simple web portal (link aggregate). Granted also being a web app. The long term goal is to combine these into a more cohesive singular service. On the darkweb, links to clearweb sites will become links to .onion and i2p sites. Hello, yes I can explain. Well Bitcoin is expensive to support and the code here was written by a single developer. Hosting is provided by a small independent game studio. Neither of these entities or myself are well capitalized, just passionate about technology. That said I do agree that it should be supported and your sentiment only strengthens the possibility of this happening. again perhaps someday sooner than we all think. And I can also say that we are actively looking to do this.

About the web version. The main site is currently just a web portal with (hopefully) useful links with a lot more pages being rolled out. But yes in the near future, signing up there will be the same as doing so on the app. And it's our hope that this (alongside other plans) will help build that trust as well as attract more users.

Oh and about the features. Yeah it's like if Twitter had an exchange. I say why not. Besides the microblog came before the exchange tech. There's really no rush on our end it's quite the steady rollout.

Regarding the darkweb mirror, it should be available this week after we attach things to the backend. In this way we can display platform stats. While it would be trivial to simply upload our main site files to the appropriate location we have had people voice concerns in the past regarding our use of JS which is a bit unconventional for Tor users. About user pages: blank black user pages are created at signup (via the app) and are only populated once a user posts. At that point the page design becomes visible. In other words these function a bit differently in practice on the Tor network than the base website does. Thanks for your feedback!

Will my username appear above the posts I make?

No, all usernames are encrypted and appear as such. However, the minute anyone posts publicly, their encrypted username becomes visible and their posts viewable via the "front page" category to anyone curious. Avoiding public posts altogether is the only way to ensure that no other user has access to your encrypted username/key and its content.

Any KYC?

No, and the swap function operates closer to a P2P system with a form of escrow provided by the platform.

Is this software open-source?

Only associated and/or hosted projects (like the cryptocurrencies supported) are open-source, the platform itself is not and will not be.

Does the platform take any fees from swap transactions?

Yes, and these fees will allow for broader more robust support for users and the cryptocurrencies supported. However it is not yet decided what these fees are since the platform has just launched (with swaps and significant number of other non-critical features disabled).

Is there any moderation?

Yes, this is a community and admin moderated service.

Why build this?

It didn't exist and there's a need for a no-nonsense Tor-powered platform (besides Tor itself) that doesn't claim massive overhead to its operations. We look forward to increasing our own transparency over time.

On the website, the search bar contains multiple types of search engines. Feel free to check it out although the results will redirect the user to the search engine supported.

Please note that this is an announcement post for a relatively incomplete multi-platform application with privacy features both complete and in development. There is no budget and there is no singular "team" developing this. Those who have been are not particularly interested in arguing with people who have post quotas. This software is not for everyone in the same way that some of the communities we make discoverable via our website are invite-only. Happy new year! In 2024 we will be looking into more effective methods of distribution and airdrops in addition to a very significant increase in the amount of LOOD holders and general circulation. Don't blink or you'll miss the news about what could be yet another (or multiple) adult cryptocurrency projects joining the Lood project as direct affiliates. Our relationship with affiliate projects is that of custodian in which we may retain stakes in the total number of coins or tokens to the tune of 2% or more with exceptions.

- More news regarding the upcoming Lingerie Football can be expected within Q1.
- We are looking into at least one new exchange greater-than-or-equal to the size of BankCEX (which is currently our largest exchange)
- With the new additions (ANAL, EROTICA, DICK) there has been some server shuffling to consolidate web presence. Each chain will remain unaffected but some irregularities and redirects should be expected.

As of July 2023, ANAL has joined The LOOD Company. Maintenance of the legacy chain will continue while its utility transitions into a blend of meme and GameFi.

The project pivoted to dark web data infrastructure in the early Summer of this year. It even got a mobile app but both it and the network are temporarily down after about a month of testing back in April.
