Why gamble on code, gamble on games that the whole world can watch live Smiley

BTCSportsBet.com  is the oldest and most trusted bitcoin sportsbook (over a year in bitcoin time is like 10 real years - dog years x2!), lots of positive reviews, everyone  has been paid.

Free, automated btc deposit and withdrawals. No hassles.
102  Economy / Gambling / Re: More events added at BTCSportsBet.com !! on: February 06, 2012, 05:33:11 AM
Just want to thank all our clients for our busiest day ever!!

Hundreds of bets on the Superbowl today!

And a few lucky players had the Giants to win the SB at 35 to 1 odds before they even made the playoffs!

Congrats to all the winners,

BTCSportsBet.com

No, you are miscalculating a bit.  1.6 and 2.45 still leaves a decent sized vig. Decimal odds are confusing if you are used to American style odds. (hint: BTCSportsBet allows you to choose to view in either American style or Decimal).

That said, the withdrawal fee is pretty crazy and steep. (fast, automated withdrawals without any fees at BTCSportsBet of course)

Before a mod crushes this post for posting in another sportsbooks thread, keep in mind the new "Betting Exchange" using BTC that charged withdrawal fees and had a thread in this forum has now been confirmed as a scam, the site is down and sadly players lost their money. So pointing this out is relevant.

Just came out today, and it gets a pretty wide audience.

There are a few misconceptions, but overall I think it's a nice piece.

116  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Additional subsidy for P2Pool users: 1-3btc/day on: January 09, 2012, 11:09:55 AM
Nice to see Mike!

I'll be donating around 30btc to P2Pool miners as well by the time my 15 day commitment listed in the op is complete.

With all these donations, everyone should get on P2Pool and get paid extra for doing the right thing!
117  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Additional subsidy for P2Pool users: 1-3btc/day on: January 09, 2012, 12:17:25 AM
Today's contribution was 2.71828182btc to the miners of P2Pool.

Txn: 8a763a51e5e2e149d0459b33ae1597e54ba50c5fbae8ff6d6229cc49b6c17249

So join P2Pool, with mine and other contributions this has to be the highest paying pool currently. And you're hashing in the spirit of bitcoin Smiley

118  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Additional subsidy for P2Pool users: 1-3btc/day on: January 08, 2012, 12:39:37 AM
using bitcoind:

./bitcoind sendmany "" "$(wget -O- http://forre.st:9332/patron_sendmany?total=1.5)"
119  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Additional subsidy for P2Pool users: 1-3btc/day on: January 08, 2012, 12:25:44 AM
You can contribute too: forrestv prepared a calculated sendmany at:

http://forre.st:9332/patron_sendmany?total=1.5 (If 1.5btc is how much you want to donate)

and it will calc the payouts for the 24hr period.
120  Bitcoin / Pools / Additional subsidy for P2Pool users: 1-3btc/day on: January 08, 2012, 12:15:03 AM
To encourage users to use P2Pool, I'm sending 1-3btc every 24hrs to all the miners on P2Pool (proportionally).

First Txn: 607cde89cbad470317da51d052f4863127bf02a2f82fbd5442b24a774782aa40 (1.5btc)

Even if the pool is unlucky with blocks you will get a piece of this  Grin

All of these transactions will be coming from 13XojBmkrR2pHKthehW8vfdcsjvKpbggfJ - Will be doing this for at least the next 15 days

So switch over to P2Pool because it's the right thing to do - or for the extra money!
