, rather than hiring separately influencers. Also, it depends on your budget for that promotion. there are several types of campaign, should designate a target and on that basis create advertisement campaign.
> it would be best to run your own campaign I'm no influencer, how can I run a campaign myself? > it depends on your budget I don't have a precise budget yet, I plan to start with a few hundred dollars, could scale up if the response is positive > there are several types of campaign, should designate a target My target is Ethereum users, and I'm only aware of Tweets and Facebook posts, what other options are there?

How about video? How can I post Vimeo, YouTube style embedded videos?
|

It should at least show an error message for images it can’t load. Are you sure you have clicked the preview and then scrolled the page to the top? (the preview result is shown at the top of the page).
You are so right, the preview is at the top -- I was just used to StackOverflow style of in-place preview The difference between StackOverflow and Bitcointalk is -- Bitcointalk never closes my question, and I'm so impressed and grateful to this community

Go to https://imgur.comUpload the picture Hit the Insert Image icon at the top of the text widow of the post you will type You will see this code: Put the url of the image in between the img tag. Hit preview. Like this? -- Thank you so much for the detailed instruction, but the Preview button doesn't do anything -- I've already turned Adblock Plus for Bitcointalk, what else could be the reason?

I just sent BTC to buy copper membership, which I'll use to post ANN thread.
Before the actual ANN post, I want to do some tests.
My question is: What's the best subforum to test posting images and videos?
|
|
|
... nobody is going to post up your thread if it has even the slightest hint of being a scam.
Cool, thanks. I learnt a lot and had fun with this thread. I'm going to leave it open for another day before locking it.
|
|
|
But the project you will start is ponzi scheme you will directly tagged negative from dt ...
> In ICO they still reviewing any project Who are "they"? Don't get me wrong -- as obnoxious as I am -- I'm asking a genuine question here: What is process of getting an ANN project / thread approved?
|
|
|
I just read your post history and found (maybe) a brief description of the project you're about to launch. If you've guessed and made sure some members will consider your project to be a Ponzi/pyramid scheme, I suggest you not to continue this. Anyone behind your project (and even a member you paid to post your ANN), will get a surprise from DT members 15 minutes later.
> some members will consider your project to be a Ponzi/pyramid scheme Well, _some members_ will always consider _some projects_ to be a scam, this is unfortunately true even in Bitcointalk -- * Does _someone_ consider _some_ ICO a scam? * Does _someone_ consider CryptoKitties a scam? * Many Bitcoin maximalists consider Ethereum a scam Just my 2 Satoshi.

left at the bottom of page you have "lock topic" option.
Glad to learn another new trick

Another newbie paying senior members to post an ANN thread without mentioning anything about the website and users offering to post the ANN without bothering about any details. User wants to buy merits too instead of earning it. Whole thing screams SCAM!
> Another newbie True, I am a newbie and I am the kind of newbie wants to follow the rules -- and trying to learn the rules at the same time > paying senior members to post an ANN thread True, but is that allowed by the rule? > post an ANN thread without mentioning anything about the website True, but I'm still working on the website and am just gathering offers now. > users offering to post the ANN without bothering about any details True for now, but the seller will get more info from me, even if it's just to the sake of posting. > User wants to buy merits too True, but is that allowed by the rule? To a newbie like me, if copper membership can be bought rather than earned, why can't merit? > Whole thing screams SCAM! Not sure about that, I've heard many people scream SCAM about Bitcoin as well :-)

You always can buy copper membership (it is recommended) and improve your account level as "member" then you can't have limits to post pictures and images This copper membership is something new to me -- thanks for the tip, however, I've also been seeing talks about "merits", and there are people offering to sell them. May I know how does copper membership jell with "merits"? Thanks in advance!

My account is too new to start an ANN post in Altcoins, any senior member offers such service? How much?

@OP its not a gambling sites right? [/quote]
Gambling is statistical expected return less than zero for players, so mine is not a gambling site -- some may call it a Pyramid or Ponzi, which it is not -- but at least it's definitely not gambling.
Hope it clarifies -- or does it? :-P

Would you consider the advertisement to the forum slot? Right now it's on round 300 and you only have to follow the instruction as this is bidding made by our forum admin. If you want to know how, follow the thread. Advertise on this forum - Round 300I'm new and could be missing many things here, but I haven't found any analytics / ROI with regard to Bitcointalk ads -- please do take my feedback as a constructive criticism, though I wish I am more constructive than I could.

Social Media is a great invention to get to some public. But people are overrating it heavily. Your posts are a drip in the ocean.
SM is only respnsible for 5 - 15% of clients you will get. So ask yourself where does the other ~90% come from?
- Google search !!! (So focus on having great content, blog and SEO) - Having a great product is the key. Then you only need to launch it and people will want it and will write about it by themselves. - Events with speakers, plus media coverage. - Brand recognition and reputation building. If you had one good App they will wait for the next release and talk/write about it. - Possibilities to integrate it in other products or build around it to add features. People will want to be involved and join.
Think how Satoshi posted his invention and people started picking up on it by themselves. He never did any marketing. It just took a few years. Most coins that came after needed to rely on marketing tactics to push it instead of natural growth. Some with success but many failed, for example in the competition to create the next Bitcoin 2.0 that is anonymous and would not be tracable. (not the most important feature anyway)
Thanks for the great tips master!

Social Media is so popular and can get it into thread easily, however you will need people who will really use or play the game for them to be able to hype it. Like those gamers turns bloggers or streamers. If it's a exciting game then definitely people might give it a try especially those millenials that are into new things that make headline.
In fact, as I'm learning from Bitcointalk minute-by-minute, I can see the more recent bounty campaigns place much emphasis on social media, like this one -- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5193409.0

Signature camapign is what we are wearing under our signatures you can see it below after my post. [/quote]
Like the Bitvest.io in your signature? Seems like it can not be a URL-like direct link, I guess that's a restriction imposed by Bitcointalk, right?

It would be better for the things that you are promoting if you give some information that we can read on that.
Thanks, sure. I'LL BE BACK (in a couple of days with more information
