A lot can probably relate to what you're going through right now but there's no rainbow without the rain so yes, better days will come and keep thinking about the positive things.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do i need to be a successful trader ? on: February 15, 2021, 04:00:41 AM
Becoming a successful trader can be quite hard but as long as you have the determination to be one then you're one step ahead of that dream. It's nice that you're investing enough time to learn the basics, that's an important take in becoming a succesful trader and of course you should have good resources to understand the complexities of crypto trading.

Since it's not a secret that crypto is completely volatile after seeing BTC and the other superior alts, you have to understand that volatility is an important measure of risk, which can help traders make a fortune.  In-depth knowledge and analysis are crucial to help crypto traders develop a consistent trading strategy. After all, consistency is the key to success! Analyse your moves, learn from your mistakes, and focus on your long-term success instead of quick profits.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Elon Musk/Tesla buys $1.5 billion in bitcoin, creates another hype for Bitcoin on: February 09, 2021, 06:08:44 AM
If elon really has a huge amount of BTC, he'd definitely store it in his own wallet. Elon might not support non-mainstream coins because there's a lot of altcoins in the industry right now, It'd be hard to pick one for every tweet that he makes.

But for real though, Elon really got a huge power he's holding right now - with the way he influence the market, that thing is scary and amaze me at the same time. The incredible thing was that Telsa didn't even make a grand announcement about their BTC investments, In its annual report, Tesla said it updated its investment policy in January so it could have "more flexibility to further diversify and maximize returns" on any extra cash it was sitting on, eagle-eyed investors managed to see that.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's not a good rise, actually it's bad on: February 09, 2021, 06:00:57 AM
It's kinda scary how elon influences these markets, doge and btc rises are kinda alarming instead but I guess if the majority likes him for that then we, small people can't do anything about it.

I'd say online dating is just one of the options to date people but won't be my priority, clicking naturally is still important for me.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: February 02, 2021, 03:07:30 PM
The funny thing is there's a competition going on between Ethereum and Bitcoin, but most of the time people consider ETH and BTC the coke and the pepsi of crypto. Yes, they are No. 1 and No. 2 in terms of total market cap and public notoriety. But when you dive into the details, you’ll find that these 2 concepts actually serve completely different purposes. It might actually be more accurate to make a Coke versus apple juice comparison when talking about these 2 seminal platforms.

But let's make it clear to some,

* Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency; Ethereum is a platform.
* Transactions are much faster on the Ethereum network than on Bitcoin’s.
* Ethereum was created as a complement to Bitcoin but ended up as competition.

It is essential to understand that Bitcoin and Ethereum are fundamentally different ideas. Bitcoin is a store of value. Ethereum is a decentralized platform to program other decentralized ideas.

The two of them also have a very big difference in the marketcap! bitcoin is 6x higher than what Ethereum has which imo cant even be called a competition. IMO, its not that its on a competition, both of it is like husband and wife in the market lol. Bitcoin has a lower coin supply and is more liquid than Ethereum but I can say Ethereum has its better technology which even BTC does use.

Yeah, that is right. Also bitcoin still got the highest attention from large investors like The Winklevoss twins. While the SEC may not be wild about BTC, institutional investors have increasingly warmed to the idea, and in recent years the ability to trade Bitcoin futures contracts has helped formally induct the crypto as a widely accepted asset in the investing community.

Ethereum on the other hand, got a different goal from bitcoin. The growth of decentralized finance, or DeFi, is another extremely bullish catalyst for this platform. The concept is that traditional financial intermediaries like brokerages and exchanges are eliminated; this idea has enjoyed newfound mainstream relevance in recent weeks as some brokerages like Robinhood prohibited investors from buying stocks like GameStop (GME) and AMC Entertainment (AMC), among others.

If you'll ask me which is better to buy, I'd say this: It's not 2009 anymore both currencies have sprinted past the proof-of-concept phase; it's now time for investors who haven't considered this asset class in the past to start taking both BTC and ETH seriously.

8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any relationship between Gold and Bitcoin ? on: February 01, 2021, 10:58:29 AM
Bitcoin and gold share the same purpose. They are both hedges against global insecurity, economic instability, and inflation. Both assets are intended to provide security for investments. However, GOLD is a physical asset that has many intended uses, which makes it a highly sought after resource while BTC still a virtual one which sometimes crypto traders used to trade at a particular exchange

Gold is more than that tbh and seeing their individual market activity over the past few years, it is understandable why many believe that bitcoin could ultimately replace gold in terms of value but bitcoin still continues to experience significant price fluctuation that often results in substantial losses.

Another reason that the bitcoin is unlikely to replace gold as an investment asset is that the system has yet to achieve full status as a truly "universal" and legitimate form of currency. Many countries, including Germany, Norway, Russia, France, Thailand and Korea, refuse to use the bitcoin for fear of potential loss. In fact, several have gone as far as making it illegal in their country.

BTC will always be that safe-haven coin to the people that believes in it, but bitcoin is still far from the finish line.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: February 01, 2021, 10:12:15 AM
In my view, if there's a new project out there that you think would be perfect for your investment - do not invest big but instead watch how the project perform first or how the team is doing their best to increase its value and its use-cases - this is why roadmaps are important and should be visible for every traders to see.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are there any good songs that you have been listening to for a long time? on: February 01, 2021, 09:54:30 AM

11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to avoid as a beginner in trading Bitcoin? on: January 26, 2021, 02:07:04 PM
in my opinion for beginners what you should be able to avoid is not to be influenced by market conditions and you have to be careful when you want to buy coins, understand the color indication of the exchange, when green means it's the right time to sell not to buy, when it's red or collapsed then it's the right time to buy, sometimes beginners are still influenced to buy when it's green.

I agree, also they should choose an exchange where they can trade comfortably or has a good credibility. I settle for exchanges that has a decent number of trading volume like with these pairs in case you're curious about the real numbers:

https://trade.kucoin.com/BTC-USDT
https://trade.kucoin.com/ETH-BTC

I don't get influenced by others opinion though, I use what works for me instead of just taking everyone's opinion. Beginners should learn how to see the industry in their own perspective, not based on what the others say about it. It's over when you buy high and sell low  Grin
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi seems to be hot right now! What do you think about the future of DeFi? on: January 26, 2021, 08:22:19 AM
I still that DeFi has a clearer future than the other sectors in the crypto industry right now and the hard work that defi projects are doing shows how much this sector deserves the hype.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: January 26, 2021, 08:15:41 AM
I am healthy and young, I won't be vaccinated unless I am dying from the covid19. Vaccines should only be for the vulnerables, should be their last resort.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is OMG(OMG Network) dead? on: January 26, 2021, 07:58:24 AM
Not much hype for OMG right now but I don't think the coin is dead when it really has a spiking number of trading volume, I think you should focus more on the important aspects of a coin instead of the hype or the price.
