The best and simplest way to unwind is to watch movies and go surf the net. Play with pets and learn cooking.

it is the simplest thing.without internet i wouldn't know what could i do lol

From the simplest thing, choose a bicycle instead of a car, and limit travel by transport, if possible, or choose electric cars. There are not many ways to reduce emissions. More questions to factories and power plants of course.

I would totally agree, it is way better to use bicycle rather than a public transport or a car if it is in ability.

I disagree. Choose a car rather than a bicycle. I mean, nobody chooses a bicycle... percentage-wise, it's almost nobody. So, if you choose a bicycle, you have to breathe harder to pedal. The result is that you take in more smog into your lungs. Then you die from smog poisoning faster.

Cool

but if you choose a car over a bicycle then the air will be more polluted, and you breathe that air so you will die anyways
3  Other / Politics & Society / what about water? on: July 04, 2020, 12:16:08 PM
Water pollution has become the most complex global problem.
Its long-term effects are far-reaching because it affects not only the environment but also human beings and animals.
Increasing drinking water pollution has become a global issue mostly due to a range of diseases, health problems and increasing human mortality.
Pollution is a change in water quality above the permissible limit values.
It is caused by the introduction, release and disposal of various substances, energy or other pathogens, which changes the useful properties of water and worsens the state of aquatic ecosystems.
These changes endanger human life and health and the state of the environment.
There are various causes of pollution.
The world’s main consumer of water is agriculture where chemicals are often used to protect crops from damage or disease.
This improves crop growth and the chemicals go into the groundwater from where they reach lakes, rivers or streams and pollute them.
Industry is also one of the main causes of pollution because it produces toxic waste that is filtered in water and becomes dangerous for the world of sea and land waters and man himself.
The formation of heavy metals in water has been linked to birth defects, cancer, and infertility and developmental problems in children.
In addition to humans, water pollution can also cause natural disasters such as storms, earthquakes, floods and volcanic eruptions.

From the world of medicine, dirty water is the first source of mortality in the world.
It is estimated that about 3.6 million people, mostly children, die each year from dirty water.
Dirty water causes dysentery which leads to even greater dehydration.
It happens that people die mostly because of consuming such water.
Half of the world's hospital beds are home to people suffering from diseases related to dirty water.
When we open the tap we have to remember that people (mostly women) in Africa and Asia walk an average of six kilometers to the water.
Perhaps this information warns us how valuable water is and how rationally we should consume it.

What do you think what can we do, as humans to reduce water pollution?
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will covid-19 disappear? on: June 26, 2020, 10:45:14 AM
Covid-19 would disappear literally today, if the people woke up and realized that the Covid-19 pandemic is a lie. It's not that the virus doesn't exist. It's that the deaths attributed to it are a lie.

Cool

I woke up today and it is still here, you can't know when it will disappear
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will covid-19 disappear? on: June 26, 2020, 10:43:56 AM
"Currently, no one can answer this question,
as in many countries cases are increasing
rapidly and till now their is no vaccine to
end or cure COVID-19. "

I think the vaccine is the key to end of the pandemic, but virus is mutating and doesn't have just one type of itself.

7  Other / Politics & Society / the impact of time on people on: June 25, 2020, 12:20:46 PM
The impact of climate on human health has long been known.
Already the ancient Greeks noticed the "influence of hot and cold winds" on disease.
Today, the impact of climate on human health is being intensively researched, especially in light of the many consequences of climate change.
It is believed that a healthy human body can adapt to changes in weather and climate.
In the case of extremely high or low temperatures, a person tries to reduce the impact of unfavorable temperature by appropriate clothing or by heating and cooling the space in which he resides.
This reduces the stress to which the body is exposed, and thus the body's susceptibility to disease.
Changes in weather do not affect all people equally.
Given how time affects people, we distinguish three groups:

1. meteorological persons - who respond to changes in weather with depression, neurosis.
This group of people is mostly made up of children or the elderly.

2. meteosensitive persons - who react to changes in weather with stress, headaches, anxiety, changes in blood pressure, which often leads to worsening of chronic diseases, if these people have them

3. meteoropate - which are very difficult to adapt to changes in time. They have a common syndrome of exhaustion and irritability that can last up to several days before and after the change of weather

Changes in the weather and extreme situations have the greatest impact on the sick, children and the elderly.
This is especially pronounced in the case of heat waves that can have a major impact on mortality.
High temperatures mostly affect people with diseases of the vascular, respiratory and immune systems.
Surprisingly, the number of deaths from heart attack during heat waves is relatively small compared to the increase in mortality from other diseases.

COVID-19 IS NOT A LIE! too many people died from it and scientists now still are trying to find the cure. Please be mature and stop telling it is a lie because it does not makes sense.
9  Other / Politics & Society / have you noticed what happens to the air? on: June 15, 2020, 06:35:30 PM
The atmosphere is the layer of air (gaseous envelope) that surrounds the earth.
Most of the air is located in the lower layers of the atmosphere.
Changes in air composition can be affected by emissions or sources that are divided into three major groups.

1. The first group of emissions are emissions that were not caused by human activity, such as volcanoes, oceans, storms, etc.
    These are called natural emissions.

2. Emissions which in nature are wholly or partly caused by human action.
They are common in agriculture (cattle breeding) or are the result of fires caused by deforestation.

3. And the last, third group of emissions were created by direct human action and are called anthropogenic emissions.
These are, for example, emissions caused by the processing or use of chemical substances, the burning of fossil fuels, those that occur for the purpose of obtaining energy,
    and the like.
Those emissions that are created by the action of nature are everyday and last from the time of the formation of our planet.
These natural emissions greatly affect the chemical composition of the atmosphere, but man cannot influence them.
For example, many active volcanoes on Earth are constantly emitting gases such as sulfur, hydrogen, flour and the like.
Volcanic eruptions also release various radioactive substances.

The greatest air pollution is caused by man, by burning fossil fuels.
Combustion products are very dangerous gases (sulfur dioxide, ammonia, carbon dioxide) that pollute the air and that can combine with rain and cause acid rain.
Among the major air pollutants are freons (the name for gases) which are released into the atmosphere and cause it to heat up and destroy the ozone layer that protects the Earth from the penetration of UV rays.
Air protection measures have existed for centuries, but have only been seriously implemented in the last few decades.

One hundred years ago, waste gases were not purified.
Chimneys at the time had the sole purpose of exhausting gases and providing enough air for combustion.
Numerous measurements of air quality in the last thirty years, when deforestation has been observed, have led to increased awareness of pollution prevention by reducing overall chimneys, catalysts are installed in vehicles, global conferences are held to protect the Earth and its environment.

How do you think we, as humans, can help with air pollution, how can we prevent or reduce it?
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will covid-19 disappear? on: June 01, 2020, 05:50:25 PM
I don't actually believe that virus doesn't want warmer place. Here in my country, we only have two seasons, summer and rainy seasons, and it is extremely heat in our country. And still, the amount of Covid19 positive still goes up.

I do believe that Covid19 will be here for at least 2 years before it completely have no effect at all on people. It will take years on making a vaccine, and I assume that not everyone will be able to get a vaccine once it's available for purchase. It already have a lot of bad impacts to different aspects of society and even on the aspects of a country. A lot of jobs has been compromised and millions of people lost a source of income. Let us just hope that Covid-19 will not infect a lot of people soon as time goes by.

yes I agree we can only hope that it will disappear, but i just wanted to say because virus was "made" in winter so it adjusted to that weather and temperature I heard that it will kind of stop, not completely by warmer and hotter weather (that was what scientists said) and in my country  there is no infected people at all few days in a row so let's hope it will disappear soon.

Covid will disappear almost 10 minutes from now. Of course I am exaggerating. But look at what's happening.

idk where you founds this informations, but I surely know it isn't true you can't actually predict when will virus disappear.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will covid-19 disappear? on: June 01, 2020, 05:45:46 PM
This is an artificial virus, and this whole quarantine situation too. Therefore, it doesn't depend on the virus itself, but on the people (or rather nonhumans) who do this.

I would agree with the fact that it depends on humans how will they behave, and if they are gonna break the certain rules or not, and of course virus is made by humans.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: COVID-19 teaches all of us. on: May 20, 2020, 05:56:21 PM
COVID-19 is still spreading around the world, there are so many lives that passed away because of the virus, but despite of danger that this virus can give to use, it teaches us something in our lives.

1. Our earth feel free because there are a lot of company that produces air pollution that is being closed.
2. There are so many people who clean our environment, there is general cleaning in our community.
3. People learned how to be careful and protect their health.
4. Because of this virus, the government decided the lockdown on our are and by that we get so much bonding on our family.
5. There are a lot of cancelled activities and gathering such as (night club, vices, etc.)
6. The virus makes us so conscious on our environment.
7. Our camaraderie increases.
8. Our faith on our God increases.

I know and I believe that we can overcome this problem, let us all help each other, stay at home to prevent the risk of spreading the virus.

I surely agree with all of this, but we have to think more positive. Some animals are more free, and I don't say in every country, but in most countries pollution is way cleaner and better. A lot of people will appreciate time and nature more. I know people that had problems with their families, and now because of quarantine, they have better communication and solve their problems. As we know virus is getting sooth and lives are getting normal. We just have to accept the situation in what we are and think more positive. Smiley

I hear soon will be disappear, but who know maybe there new type of corona.

It will not probably completely disappear, but it will be a lot less people who are infected, some scientists say that there will be more viruses similar to covid - 19. I don't know how to feel about that, but let's just hope everything will be fine.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: help in difficult situations on: May 20, 2020, 05:46:37 PM
When a dangerous situation, say a natural disaster like an earthquake occurs, do you know what the difference between a believer and a non-believer will be?
The non-believer will die crushed by the building he's in.
The believer will start praying and then die just like the non-believer.
If you need that feeling of being with someone and having a helping hand in a time of need, maybe you need more friends in your life?

It doesn't really matter whether a believer or an unbeliever is in the building. If you know the basic rules of behavior in an earthquake or fire, you can improve your chances of survival.

Prayer helps a person to calm down, concentrate and not panic, which is very important in a difficult situation.

I agree with this one. Praying will help us to calm down and bring peace in our lives. By praying and truly believing we will know that everything is going to be fine at some point and that we are having someone with us - that we are not alone.

I don't think that believer will die the exact way as non-believer. God loves all the people in the world if we are believer or not. He will always protect us from evil. If someone really HATES God He will probably show that person that World without God is a complete mess and only evil. He will try to put that person on the right way for the better future life. Maybe the non - believer will die crushed by the building because he wasn't careful. The same thing can happen to believer. God can't always control us in a way that for example, are we are going to be careful or not, is anyone going to do something or not. He gave us the possibility to choose what are we going to do in our lives, and He will just bring us to a right way, even if we chose the wrong one, at some point He will bring us back to the right one.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: help in difficult situations on: May 17, 2020, 11:51:50 AM
How often in those days of quarantine with panic and fear spreading did we think we were alone?
Do we even think if there is someone who is guarding us and who will help us?
Some know that God exists and pray to Him for help, but some do not believe in him and think they are alone in not only this situation but also in other difficult life situations.
I will not judge anyone on whether he believes in God or not, but I would like to prove that he really exists.
Those people who listened to the Lord and prayed for peace and for an end to this situation soon, they experienced love and peace, and those who have not yet found it and have not found the right path live in panic and fear.

How often do we think about the question "Why?", "For what?"… and the like.
It is very easy to answer that question.
God is always with us and never leaves us, whether we like it or not.
He has a plan for every man on Earth and will give everyone his "cross" to carry.
This means that everyone will have a problem or a difficult life situation at some point, ie no one has a perfect life.
We should not expect this because it will give us its "cross" to learn the value of life and our life will certainly not be black and depressed.
Everyone will have their moment in which they will "shine".
Some people invoke the name of God in fear and experience conversion and a completely new and better life.

Sometimes, of course, we'll get mad at him for not giving us exactly what we wanted, but he is not an automaton that will fulfill our wishes but is there to teach us the value of life and to accept the life we live and to follow his word to end up in his kingdom when we leave the world.
We must be grateful to him for loving us eternally and forgiving us of all the sins we have committed if we truly repent.

For example, in the country where I live, Croatia, a strong earthquake occurred, now during isolation.
Many people are scared and panicked because they are afraid of new earthquakes and are afraid for their home.
Some have found peace and comfort by turning to God and believing that He will do only the best for us.
In such situations, God will always help and protect us.
We may not be able to see him but we can feel him, i.e. feel his presence and peace.
We must respect him and pray to him because then he will surely help us in the situation we are in.
Because God is not selfish, He will not judge anyone, He will not mock anyone, and no matter how selfish and sinful we may be, He will always be with us and give us hope and wait for us to turn to Him.

Maybe we never seen God but we felt that he has giving some people to our lives to make us survive. There are alot of people who have generous and kind hearted person who give a piece of their wealth or a piece of their salary to help someone in need.He send instruments to help the needy and I believe it, since I have witness that there's alot of people who feel the needs of their neighbors, friends or relatives or even to people they don't know.Thats when I felt that we are not alone in this fight. We can count on him because he hears our prayers.

I'm glad that you felt something and that you know there is someone who will always protect you and someone who can tell you the right way. Smiley
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I was asked to use a hand sanitiser this morning. on: May 11, 2020, 03:52:01 PM
I've been visiting Somerset in the van for a few days, and last night I stayed in a picnic area and truck stop. This morning I went into the cafe for an early morning coffee, and I was offered a bottle of hand sanitiser, and asked to use some. This is obviously as a result of the Coron Virus appearing in the UK. I had no problem with complying, but I'm not sure how useful it is. Far more of a problem could be the communal use of the 'loos in my opinion.

In my country the hand sanitizer are a must in every market or caffe. I'm not saying that it doesn't help but it just kill few bacterias on your hands. I don't think it will actually stop the virus or something, but I think it is a personal thing if you are going to use it or not. On the other side, someone with really dirty hands can cause some new disease or something. So, I'm not really sure what should I think about that. Huh
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: help in difficult situations on: May 11, 2020, 03:45:50 PM
If you believe in God, you probably know about the existence of the concept of fate. Maybe it is because of this predetermination of events in the life of every person that God cannot help everyone at once. Each of us has our own destiny.

If you pray then keep on praying and everything will be fine.

Of course, lives of everyone can't be good and "perfect" at the same time as others, and God has plan for each of us.
