Afghanistan seriously deserves a lot of praise since they defeated the current World Cup champions pretty comfortably by a big margin. They need to keep improving in this manner slowly and steadily.
Also, it looks like Australia is about to bounce back after Sri Lanka collapsed like dominoes when they were cruising at 120/0 at one point.
Afghanistan is having same mentality like Pakistan they are also unpredictable side, but they have good all-rounders with world-class spin department which is good weapon for them, but they need more experience and better conditions for the better results now they have chance to be stayed at sixth or seventh spots because they are doing good job. Anyone else is having problem in placing bets? It seems the place bet button is disabled and I can not place a bet. There is a warning icon at the top right corner, but it does not show any information. It was not there before.
If you somehow managed to place that bet, you got screwed since England lost comfortably against Afghanistan thanks to a crazy upset. They failed in literally every area which is why they deserved this loss. I was on a great winning streak which stopped all thanks to this upset. Unexpected twist in this one-sided World Cup so far. I am not a regular cricket fan but since it was world cup I wanted to take the excitement. But my experience ended badly LOL In the last few days I lost over $1k with sportsbet and another new bookie I was experimenting. I am now in my cool down period. Not going to gamble in the world cup for sure. Indian conditions are never been ideal for the Australia and England, so they are badly down but in few matches we have good performance from New Zealand and Afghanistan as well which also bring surprises so many punters lost good amount. Why don't you set your predictions at one go for each round?

I thought that Bangladesh might lose today's match between England and Bangladesh but most likely they will lose by 50+ runs. But my view is completely reversed and Bangladesh are very likely to lose by 180+ runs. Bangladesh batting and bowling performed against Afghanistan, Bangladesh was expected to perform well in today's match but performed so badly that four batsmen of Bangladesh's top order got out badly which we did not expect.
Today first game between England vs Bangladesh give me my first MP, and now I jump from seventh to fifth which is good. South Africa are decimating the Lankans at the moment thanks to a terrific partnership between De Lock and Van Der Dussen who scored centuries together. They will probably end up posting something close to 360-370 at this rate. The reason for asking is that if they do not have the link and haven't started actively betting on the matches, it will be quite hard to catch up if they join late. If they already participating, then it's okay.  Have no idea why you are curious about any of this when you aren't even participating in this pool. I was expecting a win for the South Africa but not like this right now we have end of 40th over with score 291 two centurions already gone and Markram can also score his century which could be amazing if he is able to complete this and perfect start for them because with their current form look like they could be at better spot this time. Afghanistan was the biggest disappointment for me as they play like crap in their first game of this mega event, most chances now they could be at the 9th or 10th spot at the end of this World Cup. |

The lack of crowds has been extremely disappointing in this World Cup. I am sure everyone was expecting a lot more people than this.
No one can do anything regarding this situation just this format is also losing its passion which is surely not good deal for the ICC if these stadiums have no fans then surely this is going to be the end of this format in near future. ICC needs to work on having changes in this game with keeping just two formats which will increase fanbase and ending of ODI could be also beneficial for the all stakeholders. |
