Around 2/3 months ago, VP of quantum computing of IBM said quantum computer will appear in next 3/50 years. as you know, ECC of bitcoin is not quantum safe. then once quantum computer becomes to be true or newspaper talking about quantum attack to Bitcoin. will bitcoin be destroyed totally from the eco-system to the price? how about your guys think about quantum attack? and what the actions we can take?
It's a bit difficult to imagine about that but as far as i know crypto is already resistance for quantum computing. Not sure about that AFAIk quantum computing is working for 64 bit algorithm or less than it but i think that the quantum computer works through down grade the algorithm. Quantum computing still a dream. |

The Cryptocurrency market has experienced a very drastic decline. The price of crypto coins has dropped further in recent months. Of course many wonder what factors have a negative impact on the crypto market. Following this I try to summarize some of the factors that might be the cause:
1. The Chinese government prohibits all websites offering cryptocurrency trading services, and considers closing all local exchanges there.
2. Google prohibits Cryptocurrency advertising.
3. The South Korean government created a new rule requiring all traders (traders) to identify with their real names, and checked the suitability of their wallet details with information on local banks.
4. Sales with a large-scale sale method.
5. Speculation of losses at the Crypto market.
6. Regulatory changes to the Crypto market.
7. Increasing hacking cases, losing coins, and decreasing investor confidence.
However, there is certainly the possibility of other factors. Please add if you know it.

I'm tired of waiting for 3 days for my bitcoin transaction to go through, and paying $30 USD. Bitcoin was the first and is well known with the media coverage it receives. Usually the first coin people buy. It's time for a new coin to take over, some day. I think Waves is the best!
I do not think it's necessary to compare these two coins. In any case, both projects are a reliable option for investment. But still I'm confident in the advantages of BTC - it's the real king of the crypto market, which continues its stable development. Waves is not a reliable project because that's even older compared with EOS, ADA, TRON but waves has failed to create such a good platform. Personally I would wait for a better overall crypto market and sell later, because it's a bear market right now. If price rises again you can make a better profit and get more money back per coin if you wait and sell later. Market recovery will be positive to many good projects.
What's your strategy to make most profits now?
I have sold them when they have reached peak price and just try to buy it again later, taking my profit and recover my capital in the bounty token form. You have gotten your token for free and anything that you can do with it even sells them all at a loss will not give a huge impact for you dude. You just get less profit from your token and that's it. |

With 10 years of existence of bitcoin I think this is a proof that blockchain can succeed if given a chance by the government to be implemented. The problem I see is the volatility and manipulation of price which is not a healthy if not stable. Bitcoin has been growing a lot from zero to the hero. This can become an evidence about the succedd of the crypto. Volatility is not a problem in the crypto but the manipulation has made it becoe the worst thing because these manipulators are manipulating the market to get or grab a lot of money from the market. |

You can't get any merit point until you can try to create a useful post that makes other wants to give the merit for you. But I also see a lot of comments that it's a myth and that those people who are confident are like that because they are hoping for ETH to bubble up like btc did once before. in fact many people think about this, but we still believe that market growth will increase and more people will invest here but cryptocurrency is unpredictable so we must be prepared for all kinds of situations. The genuine coins are making a lot of headlines within the news medias you have to be careful not to trust them because they are not making money for the progress. In fact, encrypted news has greatly affected the trend of the whole market in this year. This is actually not scientific. We need to be more tolerant of the fluctuation of coins. Cryptocurrency in the year 2018 is much better progress over the previous year. so it would be very advantageous to have and support the development of Cryptocurrency in the future. because with more and more support will be great for the future. It's much better consider the price of this year is even higher compared with the last year. But we have been loosing so many trust from the newcomers due to the various reasons. People are betting on the crypto news and if there will be a big thing for sure and they will be rushing the market. but we are still in the stable chart and i don't expect a huge gain in a short time. |

If you're new and would like to invest some money into crypto currency I would suggest doing your own analysis on them.
Things like:
1. Reading about the coin you want to invest in online (check their website, idea, possible chances of success, check their ANN here on BCT etc.)
2. Check their ATH & ATL on coinmarketcap.com
3. Check to see if they are putting a good part of their money into marketing and PR services since this is very important to get the word out.
I have a few coins that I like and have invested in them like: IOTA, IOST, XVG, ETH, ETC you can check them out if you like.
I like your suggestion, to see the coin is good or not we have to watch it. don't easily believe what other people say. and additional if you are a beginner trader. better buy coins that have a large trading volume. because to avoid price manipulation. The big volume doesn't mean if that coin can't be manipulated. you can see even the bitcoin can be manipulated when mtgox trustee was always dumping his bitcoin to the market directly. Remember there are few address that was holding a lot of bitcoin. This still become the big question. At least the big volume will help you to liquidate your crypto easily to be converted into the money. |

Think about why eth is crashing and see through the fud, this is a temporary downfall caused by a high number of icos cashing out and trying to keep their businesses afloat.
It will not last forever.
Now think of eth the company and the ecosystem it has developed.
It is by far the best smart contract platform out there.
Some might beat it in technical specs, but eth more than makes up for it in market penetration, name brand recognition, and rock star devs.
