I don't think Bitcoin will become the official cryptocurrency around the world. Why.? because every government has rules and control over the security of his country. in my country, bitcoin has actually been accepted. but not as a means of payment. I think, actually a new investor is confused. in 2019 there were no projects or old coins that had a high increase. the only thing that is profitable is the IEO project, and even then in large exchanges, such as Binance and Huobi. choosing old coins is a must hold for a long period of time. while entering a new project is 70% failure. but 30% for quick profits. with great risk, new investors create confidence by including their funds, but adjusting their courage to lose. so in essence, new investors choose quick profits from new projects with a 2-5x risk of failure rather than having to wait for the old pump coins.

this is my personal reason.
- 2019 too many junk projects. so bounty hunters are tired of looking good. I personally stopped hunting bounty at the end of 2018. because none of the projects that I participated in had paid me.

- the move of ICO to IEO made crypto project eliminate the campaign. so it is very quiet towards the campaign.

the government has its own authority. this is a step for mass adoption of blockchain technology. I read some news about China making its own digital currency. and the reason is to prevent bitcoin users from growing in their countries. I have used bitcoin for electricity tokens and internet payments. in my country, some online stores have accepted payment through BTC. but only for digital products. even some accepted altcoins like dogecoin. yeah, bitcoin isn't widely used in my country yet. hope someday I can buy vegetables with Bitcoin / altcoin.
