101  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex moving headquarters from Malta to Liechtenstein on: October 24, 2019, 12:03:31 AM
You forgot Bittrex might be running low on cash because of the altcoin bear markets. Maybe the reason they left for another country is to save on legal fees, if they stayed in Malta, they may have to close shop. Binance really took their marketshare and Binance can open shop anywhere.

So Bittrex will not to continue to stop its operations? I remember reading somewhere that Bittrex will be closing. Its volume is dying and is getting worse each day. CZ is like a financial genius. Binance is expanding in the US. Binance is also well invested on different promising projects worldwide with its venture arm Binance Labs.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: October 23, 2019, 11:46:41 PM
When bitcoin started to move again this year, I cannot deny that I did expect something bigger to happen like breaking the previous ATH. But another side of me thinks that it might be a bit impossible to make another record this year, not that fast this time. I am still happy with the current price as it is still many times bigger than last year.

The current price has nothing to be compared from the last breakdown, because it never encountered a sudden bounce or spike after 2018's fall. More people expected wide visionary, but still didn't conform to the reality of actual market situation lately. As of now let's start over a discipline in order to make our asset productive.

And you think the late 2017 spike conforms with reality and the current market situation that time? You think $3,000sh breaking $20,000 this year is too far from being realistic? Do you realized that January 2017 bitcoin price was at $800 and it was able to reach over $19,000?

The reality is that crypto currencies are still too volatile because of its low market capitalization. Bitcoin at hundreds of billions in dollars is still light. It needs to reach a trillion dollars to stabilize its price.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: October 23, 2019, 04:14:36 PM
Whatever we discuss here, the national money of states will always exist, because it is an indispensable sign of statehood. Any questions regarding the circulation of national money is decided by the government, and it will never give up its money. Without its own national money, the state’s economy will be practically unregulated. In this regard, we should not worry about the existence of the fiat currency, so far nothing is threatening it.

True. Maybe this guy is talking about life a thousand years from now. It would be that everything will be payable thru decentralized crypto currencies. We will never know.

But projecting the short term future, it is very hard to imagine eliminating fiat. Even if governments will create their own crypto currency versions, they still be centralized and will co-exist with fiats until slowly the latter fades into existence. That is when everything in the world becomes fully internet installed probably via space satellites.

105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin The King Of Crypto on: October 23, 2019, 10:57:31 AM

This chart is showing you the top 200 coins performance against bitcoin. It's clearly who is outperforming here. Bitcoin is the king of crypto. Alts got rekt specially when bitcoin made a move like Jagger on the 1st April. But that wasn't april's fools day! Or was it?

source
https://twitter.com/woonomic/status/1161320822344179720

There is no other cryptocurrency to be able to beat Bitcoin yet. Bitcoin is really 'the king of crypto' right now. But also, this doesn't mean that there won't be any to overtake Bitcoin. I believe in Bitcoin and I think it will always be among the top currencies. But I also think that we will see a new crypto to catch and overtake Bitcoin in the future.

But why is it that there were some lines that were higher than bitcoin? No coin has overtaken bitcoin in market value since its start? It is possible indeed that in the future some altcoins overtake bitcoin. The main target nowadays is for crypto to become a normal currency in everyday life. But when it happens, scalability will be another issue. Bitcoin might become the first crypto to become accepted everywhere soon but altcoins may beat bitcoin when it comes to scaling.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Betting : A big problem to crypto? on: October 22, 2019, 04:37:38 PM
It's nonsense. Crypto is decentralized so no one is to be blamed for whatever its users do. Gambling is legal in nearly all countries around the globe. Those that consider gambling as illegal are centuries left behind and should ban smoking first than gambling.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 22, 2019, 04:13:48 PM

Conte wants more!
He is trying to find the way to get this two players: Nemanja Matić (Serbian, MUTD) and Ivan Rakitić (Croatian, Barça), both 31 years old with a great football experience

Hmm, well, not bad  Cool
Well it seems that Conte doesn't have a long term agenda if he wants these players who are almost past their prime, I will admit that they are great players in their respective positions  but they are not going to play at the peak for the next three years.

I like Conte. He just started but Inter-Milan is showing already good improvements. He seemed hungry and not contented on being just a second team after Juventus. That 2-1 lost to Barcelona without Lukaku showed he is on the right path. Losing at home to Juventus also showed there is still a lot of work to be done. Lukaku is back with his confidence. Ronaldo is ageing. Inter-Milan is in good hands with Conte.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 22, 2019, 03:05:09 PM
Saw a meme that said something like:  'Liverpool's best squad in 30 years can't beat United's worst squad in 30 years.'.  Grin  More props to Solkjaer and United I guess.  They did very well.

We will see, how far they can go from here. That game with Liverpool somehow rekindled their spirits. It is important as Manchester United ends this month with games away from home.

In another news, Rakitic will be leaving Barcelona but is not interested to join Manchester United. It looks like Solkjaer will be expanding its list of players he wanted to join him early next year.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: October 22, 2019, 08:18:57 AM
Provide us a DEX that is competitive and at par with the big private exchanges. It should be fast and has a good interface. And people may consider this. Until then, centralized exchanges will continue to enjoy the highest trading volumes.
110  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETBIT.COM Bitcoin Sportsbook and Casino | INSTANT WITHDRAWALS !!! on: October 22, 2019, 08:04:25 AM
Of course it is my fault, but now its been a lot longer than the "under 48hours" which they said it would
take them to get back to me. I have still not recieved a response, nor is my withdrawal unlocked, it is still
closed by the admin. I might not have all the btc left, but i still have some in my balance.
Therefore, I would take some caution to this site. gl

You could have self-excluded for a week or month whilst waiting for this to be looked at ... if you ever come across a similar issue just temporarily close the account or self-exclude so you won't lose the balance whilst waiting for it to be recovered.

What happened to BETBIT.COM's "Bitcoin Sportsbook and Casino | INSTANT WITHDRAWALS !!!"? They said 48 hours to resolve your issue but until now nothing happened? It is either this sportsbook have a bad support or your account have hundred thousands in dollars that took them so long to review.

Instant withdrawals should be a must with the exception of very big amounts that needs more verification for anti-laundering purposes. I really don't understand why some sportsbook cannot comply with this.

111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 22, 2019, 07:53:49 AM
It all depends on whether the coach will stay or be replaced.
Zidane's position at the club is uncertain and if poor results continue Murinho is probably the next coach.
If that happens, Pogba is definitely out and Perez will finally fulfill his wish and bring Ericsen from Tottenham.
Mourinho back at Madrid. I really wouldn't like that to happen. They should just give Zidane a little more time and let him sign the players he wants after all he's the Coach. Building a winning team just doesn't take one season.

I don’t know if Mourinho will ever get a job at a massive club again. His tactics & style of play is outdated & football has evolved.

No no, it's healthy outside.
I personally am very sure it will not happen, it is very funny if Jose Mourinho returns again, what will he do again? Zidane is still a coach again. If you are willing, Real madrid can improve its performance again.

The match with Galatasaray tomorrow in Turkey may be crucial for Zidane.
If Real loses, and significantly reduces any chance of passing the group, Zidane is almost certainly a former coach and I think Perez will choose Murinho as new coach.

Real is slowing down a lot recently. A Galatasaray loss will be another minus points on Zidane's current situation. I also don't think Mourinho can bring Real back into top contention. If Real can get Ericsen or Pogba fast enough then it will give Zidane another chance to prove he can perform given the right players. I prefer Pogba as well.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in football on: October 22, 2019, 05:44:19 AM
On Saturday the 19th I was at a pub and grill with friends for a birthday. While I was there I happened to look up at one of the tv screens and a football match was on. I do not watch football nor do I know much about the leagues. I understand how the game works and that's about it. While I was watching I noticed something but just to make sure I asked the table if they saw it too and they confirmed it. (there were 5 of us at the table 2 of which know and understand bitcoin and how it works they just don't own their own crypto I don't know why) What we saw was the bitcoin logo BTC on the sleeves of Watford FC players. I was excited and glad to see it. I asked a friend at the table what they thought the sponsor was from and he said probably an exchange.  Turns out that the Turkish exchange BtcTurk was the Watford shirt sponsor and BtcTurk have sponsored Yeni Malatyaspor, a Turkish club.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/premier-leagues-watford-fc-puts-bitcoin-logo-on-kit-accepts-btc
https://www.ccn.com/turkish-bitcoin-exchange-becomes-footballs-first-ever-crypto-shirt-sponsor/

You can find out more with a simple google search as well. Smiley

Has anything like this happened to you when you didn't expect it? What did the people with you at the time have to say?

I had a good time reading the articles and more. But I think you got something wrong. BtcTurk is not the shirt sponsor of Watford. BtcTurk sponsorship is on Yeni Malatyaspor in the Turkish league. Sportsbet is the one sponsoring Watford. Sportsbet must have very rich owners as it is also sponsoring the top soccer club in Brazil. And they are also in negotiations with another soccer club in Argentina. Maybe it is time to open an account in Sportsbet. The company didn't just promoted their business but bitcoin in general.

And then another cyrpto business into soccer. I was thinking how much Coinmarketcap makes that it was able to sponsor an Israeli soccer club. I love this crypto companies starting to make sponsorship in sports. I saw also LTC many times in MMA.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Mixing Bitcoin?? on: October 21, 2019, 03:37:13 PM
Using mixers is just another option. It isn't bad after all. Mixers fill the gap on bitcoin anonymity. So basically there is no need for other coins to use because in bitcoin you can end your tracks with these mixers. Autocratic governments will be more against bitcoin when these mixers becomes a crypto trend.

114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO not forced you to hold their token on: October 21, 2019, 02:59:28 PM
I know binance is the most popular exchange, but binance and other exchanges such as okex, huobi, ...and  others forced you to hold their token to participate in IEO, so i list exchanges do not forced you to buy token.
What you think about this exchanges, do you suggest it?
If you do not suggest it, or think it is not good let me know the reason?

lattoken
probit
lbank
p2pb2b
coineal
vindax
exmarket
Finexbox
Sistemkoin

This what i know, you also can add exchange not forced you to buy token not listed here.
Some of this exchanges i use it, and some of it i did not.

not intended to judge bad, but I think of all the list I have not been interested. bugs still occur (when I sign up), but I don't know for now. bitforex in my opinion is good.

VinDAX and LBank are big exchanges too, the rest are decent enough but not as reliable as Binance. Binance is proven reliable and safe over the years. A hacking incident happened but Binance paid all the lost funds from its own pocket. This is what a responsible exchange do. So I don't mind holding their BNB for a while because their services is worth investing. BNB holders took huge profits too as the token is sitting strong in the top 10.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 85% of All Bitcoin Have Now Been Mined!!! on: October 21, 2019, 10:07:41 AM
When the time comes that 99% of all bitcoin are farmed already the miners will expect a high bitcoin price or it won't be worth it anymore to mine. What will happen if only few bitcoin miners are left alone? So I understand now that bitcoin is in a race over time to become mainstream.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ETHEREUM KEEPS DISAPPOINTING on: October 21, 2019, 09:56:01 AM
In the course of this year, ethereum has mostly not been promising due to the many disappointing times we have experienced. Sometimes, it even become very difficult to know when to hold or sell out some ethereum. All the same, many people who trust in altcoins have kept some great faith in ethereum and that is an amazing motivation that ethereum can really bounce back and be the strong force most hodlers wish for.
Ethereum is doing fine pal, even if the price keeps dipping its wise to keep taking the advantages by buying the dips, the real fact is ETH will remain the king of all altcoins for a very long time to come and who knows what the ETH 2.0 upgrade will offer new developers? might be more than we expected

When ETH pumped up to $200 last January, I was thinking that it was the start of an even bigger pump. I cannot blame ETH for its bad price movement this year because the market overall is doing worse. And ETH is still the second so its does perform better against the other altcoins.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: October 21, 2019, 09:28:54 AM
I always wanted bitcoin in the bullish side, even if I am in a situation that I don't have bitcoins. Because I have no problems buying them at an expensive price knowing it will continue to move upwards. And I dislike companies that offers leveraging like Bitmex. They the reasons traders can short bitcoin. Sad
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 21, 2019, 06:54:05 AM

Remember Thurman calling or comparing Manny's hands to a T-Rex? So I don't know if Keith can live with that statement because in the first round alone, that T-Rex arm puts him down on the canvass. So you can't say that he is small because boxing experts says that Manny's center of gravity (because of being small) has help him to knock down guys just like Tyson is small in heavyweight division.

The Pacman is old. You cannot say he has the same speed and toughness during his young days. The has powerful punches especially his left but did he score a knockout recently at welterweight?

I somewhat agree that shorter fighters have slight edge when it comes to power or hurting their opponents because their punches are mostly going upwards and they have better views on bread baskets.

Nothing last forever. The Pacman goes to sleep again soon if he is not retiring. You saw the Pacman went to sleep already and it happens again. It would be a shame if he just lose to these young fighters that are not even 25% of what he is. Tyson went to to canvass many many times because he is old. Smaller past prime fighters also have big chances of getting knocked out. When Tyson and Pacman do not have the same speed, reflexes and resistance they lose. These small fighters survived in the bigger divisions because they have the better speed, athleticism, reflexes and resistance. All those attributes will slowly fade when getting older. Except power, but without speed and good reflexes it won't be easy to work.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose DEX? How to avoid scam? on: October 21, 2019, 05:59:56 AM
I thought that you can´t be scammed by a DEX exchange because DEX are based on smart-contracts, you are not giving away your funds so there is practically zero chance of being scammed. Even the site will not work, you can call the smart contract to get your funds back.  Smiley

There are possible security glitches that can lead to losing of funds. Scammers can spam their own tokens too like Waves DEX. It's messy. I still prefer the high volume exchanges than present DEX. Exchanges have more funds for security and better, easier interface for its customers than DEX.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Gains Correlate With Tether Issuance, Researcher Says on: October 21, 2019, 05:35:45 AM
Set aside the controversies and suspected irregularities of Tether, it is good for crypto currencies. Tether volume is in billions, if Tether was not created then maybe we are still in the year 2015.

Minting more supply on Tether could also means Bitfinex dumping more of its crypto assets into US dollars. Proper audit should be done too to clarify all these theories circulating online. Because a growing bad reputation on Tether means most of its users will be forced to cashout into fiats and will leave the crypto market for good which can have big effects on the market volume and stability.
