61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRT] Particle | CPU/GPU, Fast, Easy Mine, * NO PREMINE * | Official Thread on: May 20, 2015, 06:23:17 PM
I've deposited 1000 PRT but it's not showing in the account balance. I've opened a ticket, let's see if they answer.

The 3 times I contacted them they responded telling me the problem had been solved...it never was lol.

It is interesting that withdrawls seem to be no issue just the deposits...
That would suggest that we are on the same wallet therefore things should work on deposits as well right?

with my current connection, it's hard to upload my blockchain Sad
maybe someone on my peer list can create bootstrap.dat from their vps/ds?
Did you get synced or do you still need bootstrap? It can take about 30 hours.

Attempted to send over 30K PRT to BTER to see if there is aminimum but nothing has come through. I have file a support tickets with BTER (included Chinese translation) with description of problem, see what happens next.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRT] Particle | CPU/GPU, Fast, Easy Mine, * NO PREMINE * | Official Thread on: May 20, 2015, 03:53:40 PM
Here
http://support.bter.com/hc/en-us/articles/201718950-How-to-Deposit-Withdraw-
they say there is a minimal deposit amount, but they don't say anywhere how much it is.
Also particle deposit takes 30 confirmations.

Any idea what the minimum deposit might be??
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRT] Particle | CPU/GPU, Fast, Easy Mine, * NO PREMINE * | Official Thread on: May 18, 2015, 11:54:41 PM
I tried to send 100 PRT to BTER a few hours ago....nothing yet....we will see what happens.

I also tried to leave a post in the chat there...don't know if it will do any good.

If anyone has experience with BTER customer service may I suggest we try that to find out what we can.

I am not a big BTER user and their contact info is not very clear.

UPDATE:    Still no deposit transactions at BTER
                No response in chat
                Sent message via QQ: see below

It is just about 8 am there at this time I sent message , we will see what happens Smiley

Does anyone know what might be the issue at BTER, a fork?
Doesn't really make sense.

Hello all Smiley  I am wondering how I can confirm that I am registered correctly for the POM campaign. I have been present as srb in the pool and did fill out the needed form. I did submit the form twice only because I changed my reported speed, but didn't think that would cause an issue and I believe I met all the other criteria.
Anyhow I think Magi is a brilliant design, congratulations and thanks for all the hard work!
Thank you very much for your nice words.
It's nice to hear from "silence" Magi members.
If you fill out the form it will be ok.
I confirm you are in the Proof of Mining here!
Welcome and don't hesitate to ask questions here or in our original Magi thread here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.0
Thank you very much and yes I have been a bit of a "silent watcher" ...and yes just posted on the main thread , voted Cryptsy to put us over the 4000 vote mark. Smiley Let's keep it going!

Give-away is finished. Last payouts will be done tonight! There are still some rewards available.
Magi would like a new promotion video, new merchants/services and games. Post your ideas here or contact me pm.

And remember to vote for Magi on Cryptsy..
Magi is still going up there. Smiley

Just bought us 40 more votes and put us over the 4000 mark !! Smiley

Anyone interested in selling me some BYC? I can't withdraw my balance from Bittrex and would like to mine. Obviously having a balance helps. I'm new to BYC so I don't have any yet. Please reply or PM.

Hi..you should post this in the official forum. http://coinblab.com/forums/12/bytecent

OK Thanks I will do Smiley

My PNY 750 ti quit today. Computer won't boot unless I remove GPU. Anyone else have this problem or know what may have failed, and/or is it fixable? Thanks for suggestions.

Yes that happened to me...card failed. And I consider it dead.
oven baking, I saw a video might work  Grin (and it won't be more dead than it is already)
LOL it does , and it pays great, fixing peoples laptops because they get the heat sink gets covered in lint.... Anyway its fixed  Shocked

It was the DVI to VGA adapter that went bad... I tried powering the computer with no monitor connection with card in place and

it was ok. so I just worked backwards and replaced the adapter... TADA all good

Thank you to everyone who replied...still a great thread of people here...cheers!

Never had this problem, but, did you try a different pcie slot just to make sure it's not that?

Is the card still under warranty?

Most possible cause is the PSU (partial) failure. If you have another PSU cross fingers and try it.

Good luck.

I actually tried the GPU in another computer and that other computer would not boot either...super sad face... and not under warranty anymore. So any thoughts on what part of it might have failed?

I even tried the baking it at 380F for 10 mins and no change. BTW this is how you fix mobo gpu's in many laptops when they overheat and you get no boot and blank screen.

Someone has to have had this happen?? I will try any ideas, lol ..for the sake of science Smiley

A] To failed build, what version of linux are you building on? Are you building the prime solo miner, or the prime pool miner?

B] To the failed to update height, is your wallet encrypted? If you send debug.log I can investigate further, this comes from mining LLP rejecting your request to update which comes from this code:

Code:
if(Net::vNodes.size() == 0 || Core::IsInitialBlockDownload() || pwalletMain->IsLocked())
{
   printf("%%%%%%%%%% Mining LLP: Rejected Request...\n");

   return false;
}

C] To the rich list, run the command "getaddressbalance <address>" and let me know if it is inconsistent with your current data, if so I'll do some digging to make sure these numbers are accurate. It is currently a database built in the core from every transaction that has happened debiting and crediting all inputs / outputs to the address selected.

Thank You,
Viz.

A] failed build responding. I am trying to compile the pool miner. Would it be better to run solominer? I have several older machines that all run Zorin 9 Lite ...description below:

Zorin OS is an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution designed especially for newcomers to Linux. It has a Windows-like graphical user interface and many programs similar to those found in Windows.

OS Type: Linux
Based on: Debian, Ubuntu
32 bit distro

I have about 25 of these machines, most all of them have single core P4 processors. Electric is free. Let me know if this is worth adding to all these machines or if it is possible with my distro.

Thank you as always, great work you are doing here.

p.s. I have run the poolminer on a windows system with a similar processor and I do not believe I can solve/contribute....no shares in 1 hour.

hello,

Pool diff is set at 3.8 to 4.1 if we have 1000 to 3800+ connections. So really small cpu like P4 is useless. Save the earth and don't use this old cpu please Smiley

For your information, with 3800+ connections, we have 1500+ request/s with min diff at 4.0.
So, pool server have to manage all this request and manage database with all informations. All works nicely with my server. Smiley We have DDos protection and hardware security manager to auto-switch server to new location with new hardware in just 3 minutes. Network is 100 Mbit/s with 20 Gbit/s secure point if more connections is needed.

Viz works on web UI to give you more live informations and options. Viz also works on auto min diff adjustment. All this dev take time to be sure all work properly.
Remember, Viz is the Dev, KK is marketing king. I'm just Nexus supporter, like all of us.

Best regards

Cest Ballot

Thank you very much for the response. Smiley
