yeah its a bug, this is the wrong forum to ask that question but to fix your issue type save in the daemon. Is there a forum for CryptoNote? I know there is a forum on their site - https://forum.cryptonote.org/You can ask devs what you're interested in and what you didn't get appropriately on their forum but there is no separate thread on bitcointalk about CryptoNote technology. no need, IMO.

Is it possible to MM only BCN with FCN ?
I wonder if I can mine BCN with QCN.
|
|
|
Comkort was the first exchange willing to add BCN and yet there is no BCN there.
Any thoughts why? and when they are going to add BCN to their exchange?

what's the hash rate now?
btw, I've read people were discussing pools. IMO there is only minergate. What are another pools?
Last block diff 14008296 Block time 120 s 14008296/120 = 116735.8 Hashes/s ~ 117 Kh/s Is ~117Kh/s a waste of time to mine solo or should I merged mine BCN with Fantom? I wonder if it's more profitable to join pool? I've read there is some problems with Minergate that's why I don't want to join it but I am interested to know different users opinions Thanks in advance

Updated MacOS version is released : linkWhat is the difference between the new and previous versions for MacOS? I also would like to know what mistakes were eliminated Why do you need it? FCN is a new cryptocurrency, therefore creators are trying to improve work of the system as often as possible

It's almost May,8th and there is no BCN on comkort exchange. I doubt it would change in 3 hours. Furthermore, there are some problems with other coins on the exchange because according to the site blockchain is stuck We disabled all operations for this coins due to blockchain stuck. IMO they are going to delay it for a week again. Hope to see BCN asap.

Interesting to try it.
I like that curve emission – 22 and that 50% coins will be emitted in 6 years. IMO, it provides FTC's resistance for a long time. I hope it won't change

Please, add abbreviations for coins as some people could misunderstand you. There is actually two bytecoin - one is Bytecoin (BCN) and another is BTC fork Bytecoin (BTE)

Interesting pictures. Especially BCN hashrate.
There was a boom in BCN hashrate recently. Diff is beginning to grow very fast from now.
I wonder how diagram is gonna look like in a week?!

Picture that shows how actually public key and ring signature is working! Description really helped me to understand the mechanism of using key and a signature in transactions. I've found a new section on CryptoNote website, the standard transaction generation: https://cryptonote.org/inside.php#standard-transactionA standard CryptoNote transaction is generated by the following sequence covered in the white paper. Bob decides to spend an output, which was sent to the one-time public key. He needs Extra (1), TxOutNumber (2), and his Account private key (3) to recover his one-time private key (4). When sending a transaction to Carol, Bob generates its Extra value by random (5). He uses Extra (6), TxOutNumber (7) and Carol's Account public key ( to get her Output public key (9). In the input Bob hides the link to his output among the foreign keys (10). To prevent double-spending he also packs the Key image, derived from his One-time private key (11). Finally, Bob signs the transaction, using his One-time private key (12), all the public keys (13) and Key Image (14). He appends the resulting Ring Signature to the end of the transaction (15). I'm not sure I saw it last time I visited the website. And a nice pic also: Full-size: https://cryptonote.org/img/cryptonote_transaction.png

I'm mining with minergate pool mostly. Even my shitty old Vaio laptop is making me around 100k a day. However, as they finally revealed the fees I might be switching to solo mining instead.
Dude, you'd better not to switch to solo mining if you have ''shitty old Vaio'' Cheesus is right about income provided with pool. Just think about your decision better. You can always switch to solo mining. Silly question but - have anyone with two similar cpus tried to compare solo and pool mining? Would be very interesting experiment I think.
