face palm ! Actually it is true that is cheap. Just 0.6btc marketcap  You know, if this coin one day achieve 50btc or even 100btc markecap, it's a 100x or 200x increase. So my 0.1btc could be 10 or 20 btc. Just could be. Not bad ROI for a small investment, where 20-33% will be donated to Sierra Leone Liberty Group. |

So, I just went through the web page, and read through twenty+ pages of this thread, and can not figure out what sdc is promising in terms of "zk". If you could excuse me for my laziness for not digging deeper, could someone respond to three quick questions?
1. With the beta that is being tested now, are the devs planning on implementing Zerocash, Zerocoin, or something else?
2. If Zerocash, how do you set up the security parameters? This requires trusted third parties.
3. If Zerocoin, how do you set up the security parameters? Do you use RSA UFOs? If so, how where these generated, and what is their bit length?

I'm with you! Can someone give a decent explanation of how this anon system is unique as opposed to hyping it up like every other coin in the universe? This hasnt been hyped, its been worked on for months now, you just only followed hype coins while this was developing its obvious because you are just now checking out shadow and its tech due to high volume. Shadow has never been about hype its been about tech, and shadow has delivered many Crypto 1st, just go back and read yourself. To many people have question that can simply be answered by reading, very lazy people here in cryptoland The guy says he has read 20+ pages and doesn't understand still - why can't anyone explain? You cannot expect people to adopt something when they do not understand why it is unique/what the benefits are. I was talking more to you then lunokhod2,( as its fairly obvious he has done his homework and actually understands the material that we are dealing with) as for his questions I believe the white paper will answer those with its coming release. Your posts are insulting. I don't think my questions are unreasonable - I am trying to work out the difference between this anon system and BTC/DarkCoin/ZeroCoin but all I got was hype responses. Well, they need to at least think about burning the Bergstake. They can't let one entity control that much Bergstake, which is what will happen if a VC scoops up the remaining coins. Maybe you are right, it depends on how many coins will remain after second phase. |

It saddens me to see BitBay coin ICO raise 1300+ Bitcoins in just 48 hours, a coin with a couple of anonymous Devs who contracted a known programmer (David Zimbeck): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=850267.0Running the ICO on Bter.com must be the reason why so many people are throwing their money to that ICO, because BitBay is still nothing more than a marketplace idea with non-existing user base. OTOH, ICOs that swallowed too much funds like Ethereum, tend to make development become stagnant while Devs sit on ICO money forever, to the point that other coins like CounterParty recreated the entire Ethereum, making it obsolete and giving their ICO investors heart-attacks. BitBay? Lol Just another "dev" team buying their own ICO to attract some more "investors"... Call that 80% premine owned by the that team alone. Don't mind that...that's the reason why big ICO which have been sold fast are going down unde ICO price so fast and never recover... Take SuperNet for example. Price is going down so fast for "no reason". Seems like it's owned mostly by inside "investors" Anyway, it's an old game Agreed... My point is that hosting a coin sale on an internationally well known exchange like Bter.com has allowed BidBay to attract investors from all around the world. Breakout team is certainly much more trustworthy than most exchanges, however, Bro Devs should probably start a coin sale on Bter for the remainder of funds needed and to attract more attention from media and investors, before launching the BRO coin. Hosting the ICO on an exchange probably prevents the distribution of Bergstake. Maybe they can create the genesis block and distribute to us our coins w/Bergstake. Burn the remainder of the Bergstake from the 10mm ICO as a reward for being early investors then sell the remainder of the 10mm coins without Berstake on BTER for like a 5 day period or so. But, only do this after beta software is released. Whatever coins aren't sold on BTER get burned. It is just a very poor, unfortunate decision by the dev team that, obviously, will not work. It has ZERO chance to work.
The dev team simply tried the impossible, which is to please everyone instead of doing the proper thing which was the initial plan of letting the market itself determine the price. This is going to be a mess in the end, I'm afraid.
What does working mean? You are assuming that Breakoutcoin is like all the other scam alternative projects that need bitcointalk to stay alive. Breakoutcoin should be less reliant on Bitcointalk then just about any other alternative crypto project. People always complain even with 30BTC marketcap and 10 for donation... The fact is that I earned money with all ICOs I invested before (except one). So for me.. they can keep complaining if they are happy with that.
