324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin the reason for world hunger? on: May 29, 2014, 01:20:50 PM
You could end world hunger with a lot of things.  You could probably end world hunger by allocating 1 day per year out of the United States Military budget.

The idea that world hunger can be ended is a pipe dream.

Sadly, you are right.  This is despite every Miss Universe trying to stop world hunger also...

Yeah but a few of the Miss Universes could satisfy certain hungers that I have.

oh wait

strike that

 Grin Grin

I swear this is one of the dumbest threads around here.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: May 29, 2014, 01:16:18 PM
Wish i was a part of this thread early long before the boom..

I would have been happy realizing that i am also a new wealthy elite....

We are still early adapters of bitcoins, most people here doesn't think about it but we are all owners of a big potential richness.
There will be more 4-5 bubbles before the value will reach its place in my opinion.

I hope that day comes quick, always wondered about this thread, how was the OP able to make this thread as a guest?  Huh
326  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: May 29, 2014, 01:00:24 PM
Am sure the OP will show up but what about the users who haven't been confirmed yet?
327  Other / Off-topic / Re: Favourite Bitcointalk member on: May 29, 2014, 07:32:40 AM
For me its this guy https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=224 because of his immense contribution towards the development of BTCitcoin both as a currency and a technology.

Thank you sir!

I wouldn't trust this sort of news till i see a post by Bruce schneier on the matter. Now why would the devs tell us to switch to bitlocker which is not open source? Doesn't make sense.

The Flaming Lips have an album that is four discs long and you're meant to play them all at the same time haha:   http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zaireeka

And I love Incubus. The Morning View album that that song is from is one of my favourites.

My second favorite song in that album is Aqueous transmission, makes me feel like am in Japan

333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on-the-street today on: May 28, 2014, 03:25:41 PM
I't s just confirmation of my thougt, that Bitcoin is too complicated for ordinary person to handle. My mum would get lost if she would had to make transactions alone.

Well i tried introducing bitcoins to one of my family members (female), first thing she asked me is how it can help her. I explained to her the advantages of bitcoin over fiat and her response was that am mad Huh
334  Other / Politics & Society / Re: China cites US for “unscrupulous” spying, wants IBM out of banks on: May 28, 2014, 03:07:23 PM
I think they just want to boost their local tech companies after all they do have the capability why continue using foreign companies. Plus it also make things cheaper for their government.
335  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US trains Syrian rebels in Qatar on: May 28, 2014, 02:47:29 PM
What happened in Afghanistan is going to be repeated in Syria.

True its only a matter of time.

i don't know what's going on in syria anymore either.. our news/media outlets don't really do a good job keeping up with it. probably because they want to cover the things that people truly care about, like what new hairstyle jennifer lawrence has.

Thats why i stick with RT dont expect cnn or bbc to post anything about the syrian war.
336  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Favorite political figure? on: May 28, 2014, 01:58:13 PM
Here is my favorite. I don't agree with him on policies such as international immigration, but definitely he is one of the best politicians right now.

As strong as a bear  Cheesy. Best politician of our time no puppet "BS"

339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CoinUrl on: May 28, 2014, 11:37:43 AM
It would be pointless having an entire forum just to post and click each others links. Don't you only get dust from them anyway? I'm sure there are some forums out there that allow ref spam, but this one doesn't.

True, they pay very little so i don't see you pulling such a huge profit even if you were to start your own forum.
340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CoinUrl on: May 28, 2014, 11:00:18 AM
Well why dont you start a thread where everyone will post their coinurl links and everyone clicks on each others link. But i dont know if such a thread is allowed.

It's not, but we can create a forum and everyone who wants can come. BUT what about coinurl? would they not ban an accounts if they see that views come from the same adresses or they don't give a f?
I don't think they would ban accounts because what you will be doing is sort of a link exchange
Here read their FAQ:  http://coinurl.com/faq.php
