I would like to ask you guys / girls here on Bitcointalk, what is your opinion about Ref links in our review comment section, do they bother you? Should we forbid / clean them or leave and allow them like we do now?

245  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: June 27, 2014, 08:43:14 PM
I'm not sure how a difficulty increase percentage relates to profitability decline. But I've left them at the defaults.

The most important factors in mining profitability are the cost of the equipment, the future difficulty, and the cost of electricity to a lesser extent. Future difficulty is difficult to predict, and different rates of increase can give you wildly different results.

Yes, I realize that.

But, it seems the first calculator I listed calls it profitability decline rather than difficulty increase. But, I expect they are talking about the same thing. However, when I change the number HIGHER the profit went up. So, I'm not sure what that calculator is doing with that number. The page doesn't seem to explain it.

i know witch one you are talking about, as a calc it is not useful
246  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: June 27, 2014, 08:41:33 PM
Does anyone know which of the BTC mining calculators is even close to reality. Yes, I know they all make assumptions..

I am calculating 100 GHS at $200 purchase with $0 electric cost, for 12 months.

For example, http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/

Shows $425.16 profit ($625.16 revenue). This assume BTC value doesn't change.

But, https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator

Shows a $63 loss.

I'm not sure how a difficulty increase percentage relates to profitability decline. But I've left them at the defaults.

one calculator assumes the dificulty will never increase.. it can only be used for a single instance ...the other allows you to use a more practical approach..setting the dificulty to anything less than 15% is absurd

249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: June 26, 2014, 08:48:54 AM
Ever plan on paying me?  3 weeks would sure seem like plenty of time....
Including your bitcoin address in your post would probably help speed up the support process..

I have already included it a half dozen times.   And been blown off each time.   Along with all the other people who haven't gotten paid either.  His software is obviously borked because I am not the only one having this problem; coins that were earned just stay in "waiting to be exchanged" forever.  Mine have been there for three weeks, others have had this problem longer.  He will eventually come along and promise "to fix it soon, just wait one more week please", at which point nothing will happen.

I don't know if he is intentionally stealing from his customers, too incompetent to fix his code, or just doesn't give a shit, but eventually your coins will get stuck too just like mine and some other people's, and then you can join us in waiting Smiley

Regarding old unexchanged balances.

The pool has ~20 BTC of old unexchanged balance out of over 9500 BTC mined since the pool start, which is only 0.20%. They are some post-fork blocks that got stuck somewhere and automated scripts couldn't resolve their status automatically. I need to manually check and investigate what is the status of these mined blocks. The pool has mined almost 700,000 blocks of dozens different coins since start and there were over a hundred forks which we needed to resolve through, because these new pump-and-dump coins tend to fork a lot. The unexchanged balance are leftovers from forks which couldn't be resolved automatically by our scripts. Some part of this balance are just orphaned blocks and there are no valid coins behind them, so this part will be converted to zero as is any other orphaned block. Some part of this are valid blocks which got stuck somewhere and it will be resolved, exchanged and paid as usual.

I started sorting it manually today and I hope to finish it in this week. This is time-consuming and manual work, so please be patient.

He's not stealing, nor incompetent and does actually give a shit. So don't worry, he won't run away with your precious 1,95 usd.

hey speak about your own money and dont berate forum members in matters that are not your business it doesnt matter if it was 0.000001 pennys... we all know the leaving balance gets stuck and you never get it back... and requests go un-answerred or someone tries saying its not in the "ready for payout"-ya we know,it never will be, which is what people are saying in the first place. the balances should continue to the "ready to pay out" at the same rate they move to "ready to pay out" mining or not- it is suspicious and anybody has the right to point it out that when you never pay out miners after they stop hashing it adds up- and while its adding up, the person who needs to fix it benefits, and the person that benefits just so happens to never fix the problem, but hey nothing to see here move along people. then on top of that people are rude to the guy who wants his own property...?

Just took a look at your site for the first time.  Am I reading this right that you currently have the 30MH unit(s) in stock?

dont send your money to these guys they are a joke

Ok, you are officially the first person on my ignore list. This is getting extremely irritating. You've sent 0.8BTC to a scammer pretending to be LA. It sucks, but stop spamming this thread all the time.

good, i want to be on your list- how do u think that transaction took place..i went to the website, i clicked on the skype icon on the website - that means that the connection was generated by the website and not by a search for a name( i wouldnt even know what name to search for or the product i wanted without going to the website) - they then had some person working there give out a personal wallet and have not stood behind it... your irritated, aww poor baby. i am irritated and i will be here till i get my btc back, so if thats never for jack then its forever for me- i know for a fact it has already cost jack over 16btc, i dont know what that accounts to in profit but i watched an order get switched to a different company based on a face to face i had... it will continue to cost LA ... i want it back beacuase i never did a search for a name on skype. i used the skype icon from the website. it is so slow but i am working on getting skype to verify this. if i do, i am not sure what to do with it, of course take legal action- but posting it hear if i get it wont be that helpful because how would it be authenticated- anybody associated with skype is welcome to contact me- or please put me in contact with them for matters related to this specific thread

you have never talked with us, show proof that you talked with us and lets get this closed.

PS : u keep saying that u clicked the icon from website, let me xplain that for u; we said here xxx times, scammer uses almost same id as our old one. when u clicked the skype icon, 2 names were showing off, 1 real, 1 scammer. u added the scammer ... and sent him money over skype without any security check

no i chose nothing, it generated an automatic connection- there was no choice... and people can not put skype icons on your site- if they can that is even more negligent than theft- jack knew it was real- thats why he changed them- but i still have his convo showing that.. you have admitted it was your fault by saying a scammer was on your website why not offer some compensation.i wont ever accept nothing

+1 the guy is clearly retarded and cant handle the fact that he fucked up.

a conversation generated by the actual website is not a fuck up... your generic response makes no sense- it assumes an implausible contact method
255  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: June 24, 2014, 07:21:48 PM

wow that would be amazing - it would give actual roi comparisons, that would be like the holy grail of predictions and profitability

Done, please have a look, note that the performance ist quite poor, will check this later. Also the PBMining prices might not be fully accurate but you should get an idea.

POST THE BTC address IN YOUR SIGNATURE!!!!!

uhhhh, bump

we dont take orders trough skype, only store, so there is no address to post

post the store wallet, how dumb are you? could you be any dumber, you wrote "only store, so there is no address to post" ya - that one, ya know , the one for the store  post the address in the signature- you warn people of the scammers in your signature, you warn people of skype(although you also send people to skype) just post the address in the signature- ya - the one for the store --- if u just came here to make a purchase and saw how dumb this guy is would you send him your money?? --- just post it in your sig

for security reasons, store creates a unique BTC address for every transaction, so, who is the dumb one now ?

do you know how many times you have said your wallet is in this thread- your a liar
260  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: June 24, 2014, 05:18:02 AM
Hello,

as I recently invested in a PBMining contract I've create a simple profitability calculator. It allows you to balance your investment based on your difficulty increase rate estimation. Also it allows you to take into account re-investments of your earnings at a given rate (0-100%).

Check it out & I would be happy to get some feedback on the functionality: http://pratscher.org/pbmining/

Thanks!
will it back date to past buy prices and therefore known dificulties and compare difference of dificulty increases versus current buy price

Not yet, but if somebody could provide me with the pricing evolutioin for PB mining I will add this functionality.

wow that would be amazing - it would give actual roi comparisons, that would be like the holy grail of predictions and profitability
