yes i think a sample should be evaluated by someone who has made the offer to do so - i am cautious when the only recipient is chosen by the party of interest - i know a certain number are set aside for such things and i would like the opportunity

Impressive  Shocked
lol thats quite a sum!

Anyway, I think i'll wait a week or 2-3 and see what it does, ofcourse, it seems like a nice investment, and not for a bad price.

What you mean with " and see what it does" . My Guess is there will nothing much change (besides btc price and ghs price ) in 1,2,3 weeks or even in 1,2,3 Months/Years.

So far, i am happy i choosed PB Mining, was really thinking hard where to place my hard earned btc.

because of the high electric cost here, this was really the only option. There are many cloud hashing services out there but my feeling says this is legit.

I am mining for fun also, this is my mega gridseed farm  ( profis and hardcore miners will laugh now, 2.5 MH/s scrypt mining lol, but i am happy with little things in life and this is one of my hobbies Cheesy)

no laughs here,,, your mine rocks- good for you

There are also nice other machines around, cheaper and faster shipping.

I wonder why we stick to the non-professional sellers.
It seems they are so busy filing orders from people, they have no time to prove they are legit.

Hi All,

We are now liaise with some senior member in this forum to have a product review regarding Beeminer's products. Those people who you trusted will tell you whether we are legit or scam.

Please wait and see.

and IF you really have the ambition to invest in the Bitcoin or Litecoin mining, You all welcome to come to China our factory to have a look for the real production.

Just drop me your contact details and we will arrange the time

Thanks

jbcheng

i would pay shipping for a sample ... this would also show that you handled some btc well ... also this is not a pre-arranged transaction... this would be a transaction initiated by a member towards yourself... i look forward to your reply

On edit: I guess the sarcasm was too thick on this.  I thought the address would be instantly recognizable (at least for Americans) but maybe I give the education system too much credit.  Please don't send anything to the address above (just google it).

dont be a puss, it was a good post

FWIW i have just invested some money in PBMining.

I brought 5GH for around £5 (high roller).  According to their stats that gives around 0.00135259 btc per week pay out.  Extrapolate that for 5 years and you get 0.3516734 btc which equals £93.5 GBP at todays exchange rate.  That is a lot of ifs (whether btc or PBMining will be here in 5 years time and what the exchange rate would be), but a nice return if it panned out.  And it is more than I am getting from my Antminer U2.

They seem to be currently sold out of Hashing which may explain why i had to give them a nudge to get my order processed.  I looked at CloudHashing but they want $300 up front for 30 GHs.

I will report back on how things go.

what do you mean out of hashing power? it still looks like contracts are for sale
456  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: May 16, 2014, 05:04:39 AM
It's not even close to that cheap for an S1.  Bitmain has them for $2.59 per GH as of right now.  PBMining is mining at $2.20 per GH.  You're saying that PBMining worked out some kind of deal that got them a price lower than that, that factored in the 1100watts per unit power charge and somehow gives them a profit that pays for the management of this operation for a bunch of full time workers?

Use your head.  It's a scam.

You're entitled to your opinion and I won't try to change it. I will correct your facts though.

The S1 is BTC0.484 per 180gh/s. 0.484/180=BTC.002688888/gh/s
.00268*439=$1.17/gh/s

Draw of the unit is 360 W at the wall - not 1100.

If we were to assume their whole facility were antminers, that would put their total electric consumption per hour as follows:

((TotalHashrate/HashratePerUnit)*WattsPerUnit)/1000

((375500/180)*360)/1000=751

So in a given month thats ((30*24)*751)=540720

I think they said they were in canada: the average electric price in canada (1) for an industrial facility is $.0732/KWh CAD or $.07USD

540720*$.07=$37,850.4 Monthly Power Cost

Per GH that's 37850.4/375500=$0.1008 Cost per month.

Over 5 years that's $0.1008*(12*5)=$6

So - we can deduce that in order to maintain profit, they'll have to upgrade their hardware after a year assuming they are running S1's. But, customers have paid up front. So they have the capital to get new hardware.

Furthermore, since they are charging double the hardware cost, they could buy double the hardware, basically using the customer as a loan for them to build a huge mining farm half of which is mining for them.

Power consumption aside - baseline - they are basically doubling their money on hardware. Further profit can be derived from merged mining. Even further profit can be derived from the fact that their fixed payment calculator accounts for avg 10 minute blocks. As difficulty increase approaches blocks are solved faster, and then when difficulty increase arrives they pay out less. They are mining more than they are paying out. Users, like me, are okay with this because of their guaranteed fixed payout rate.

At 375TH/s they are making about $4,423.36 per month just in NAMECOIN. There's room for profit. Could it be a scam? Sure. Does it scream scam from the hilltops? Nah.

There's a risk involved. There's a risk in pre-ordering hardware.

But if you're going to say it has to be a scam - at least try to back that point up with correct figures.

wow  nice job well put - alot of people jump to the  the easiest hate its human nature but you put the facts for all to see and you were nice about it - i agree the capital is there to be a legit operation, there is even enough capital to be half ponz and in the process of legitimizing - there is way more money in keeping this alive then letting it fail

$4,000 in name? is that this number 1x1099999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999

so did the ponzi sceam thing ever get worked out, was pb ever visited or proof of coins generated ever posted
458  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: May 15, 2014, 07:47:41 AM
i did the calc a couple months ago when i got into this... the btc per ghz paid worked out accurately then, by formula.
where miners are pointed makes no difference btc/ghz is the same.
idk the merged mining advantage though, i imagine pb will eventually do that if people are concerned about it....
what is a merge namecoin yield worth per btc mined? anyone tell me?
i think ozcoin merges and converts, but im not sure.
their payout system is a little screwy, so i quit mining there.

on a personal level, the pools where I mine, do make a difference in many ways.
and if I had 400GH/s and was able to dictate where it was pointed, I could also mine SHA256 altcoins. there are lots of options, some of which can sometimes be more profitable than mining btc. anyway, that's on a personal level, and more control over the contracts would be good, but not essential.

1300 gh/ 5 year contract or 25mh/s script 1 year contract then you get the machine - what would you pick?

did that ponzi sceam thing around page 33 ever come to a conclusion? did they ever post a pic or blockchain?
460  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: May 15, 2014, 07:17:34 AM
the first contract i bought in february is just about to break even.
come payday on sunday, my first contract will then be in profit.

same question for you?

would you say that the btc earned per gh/s is the same as what the btc calculators say you should be earning?

No, because those calculators are just an estimation, there is variance.

Me too! Cheers to reaching the break even point!

would you say that the btc earned per gh/s is the same as what the btc calculators say you should be earning?

you'd be as well using a crystal ball, as using the calculators.

well would you say it is as good as the pool of your choice would be? and over the long  run variance typicaly would work itself out? i guess i am just trying to get a feal for the performance of the pool since you cant point your hash where you want?

also whats this recommendation commission? can you open 1 account and then buy more and get commission from yourself ? or is that frowned upon... what happens if you keep buying more hash here and there, does it all run together or is it seperate contracts and viewed as seperate results?
