121  Economy / Goods / For Sale 1987 Toyota Cressida MX73 and 1991 Toyota Cressida MX83 on: November 25, 2013, 02:47:46 AM
Ive seen crazier things for sale on here, so I figured I would throw my Cressidas up here to see if anyone would be interested. Motivated to sell, prices are OBO, and willing to make BTC. Also just a FYI, cars are located in Dacula, GA about 2 miles away from Mall of Georgia.

First up is the 1991

What I have here is a 1991 Toyota Cressida with a 1JZGTE swap in it with a 2JZ auto transmission and a 2800 stall. Here is the history about the car:

I purchased the car 3 years ago. The car was said to only need a few wires run and that was it. I purchased the car and sent it over to Garage Zero. John over at GZ got the wiring done and when I went over to hear it start up for the first time the car just turned over and that was it.

After a few days of swapping out parts and checking everything we could we found out that the ECU had some blown caps so we ordered a new ECU. Once the ECU came in the car started up just fine and ran great. I went over to pick the car up and put it in reverse and guess what, there was no click. We pushed the car back and then I put it into drive to at least get it out of the shop. It clicked into drive but it was 2nd gear. I got the car out of the shop and home, with only 2nd gear and a slipping 3rd, and the car sat.

After a few weeks I found a 2JZ tranny that was built with a 2800 stall for sale. The transmission was still in the car so I went over and tested it out and told the guy I wanted it. He pulled the transmission out and I was on my way to swapping mine out.

After figuring out that I needed a LOT more than just the transmission, tail shaft, flywheel, ect, I finally was able to swap everything out. I put the new transmission in and not thinking went to hook the drive shaft up and nope, need something else. Custom drive shaft.

I got the drive shaft made, but am having trouble getting the correct pitch from the engine/transmission to the rear end. This is where the car is right now. I am tired and done with this car and with school tuition approaching again I am just going to cut my losses and say goodbye. Here is a list of what I know need to be done to the car to get it back on the road:

Get correct pitch from transmission to drive shaft
Hook drive shaft up
modify shift linkage (bend it) so it clears drive shaft
fill transmission with fluid
purchase intake filter
tires are dry rotten and shot so get tires
build exhaust
DRIVE!!!

The car drove great that one time I was able to bring it home from the shop, only in 2nd gear at least. Per the previous owner the engine had between 60k-65k miles, not sure if I believe him but thats what I was told. The new transmission had less than 10k on the rebuild.

Inside the car everything is there. The glove compartment is pulled out on the passenger side at the moment so we could get to the ECU, but it should only take a few moments to get that all put back together.

One final note. I know what the engine/transmission costs in this car. Do not try to low ball me on this. If I have to I will take the engine and transmission out and sell them separately and junk the shell. For more information or pictures or to view the car email me or call me. Also you can talk to John over at Garage Zero in Norcross about the car, he is very familiar with it.

Title in hand

125  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Group Buy ASICMiner Blade (mini or full) on: July 30, 2013, 09:55:36 PM
I'm thrilled to see new ASIC products but I'm unsure about the merits of the blades over the Eruptors.

a 10GH/s = 32 Eruptors

So basically buying a blade is more expensice than the same hash power bought with Eruptors.

What are the benefits of the blade

Power consumption? stand alone solution?

we don't yet know how much the blades will be...

Just an FYI for comparison:
15 Block Erupters = 7.2BTC, 5.04 GH/s (plus USB hubs)

30 Block Erupters = 14.4BTC, 10.08 GH/s (plus USB hubs)

+ computer
or
+ Rpi and compatible USB hubs

GD MtGox is pissing me off... first it took them over 2 weeks to recognize my wire deposit, and now I still haven't received my bitcoins...  Been over 24 hours since my withdrawal.  MG Tech support says they are having some bitcoin delivery problems... ??  Really?  Didn't have any problem giving my money away...

Anybody want to work on a decentralized bitcoin/fiat trading hub?  Something that you build an anonymous reputation in, allowing you to trade larger and larger sums as your trust level increases.  You'd just communicate anonymously through BitMessage and exchange coins for fiat (e.g. as a PayPal gift to a friend).  For sure this would crush the last iota of govt oppression that stymies full bitcoin adoption

I have had GREAT luck with CampBX if you can stand the horribly slow site they are great as far as getting cash to your account quickly. Canary ITM can vogue, I have purchased over 160 units and did all my money transfers through CampBX with no longer than 24 hours waits once they received the money orders in the mail.

128  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Best USB hub for Block Erupters + Raspberry Pi? on: July 21, 2013, 04:41:09 AM
Here are what I am using:

Anker Uspeed 10-port
You need to find the older model w/o the 9+1 charging port on it

If you need something quick with only 5 usable ports the Cyber Power CP-H720P. Although its 7 ports you can only use 5 at a time without usb extensions. Like I said if you only need 5 ports, or need something TODAY you can get these at Frys, Micro Center and other computer stores for $29
129  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Group Buy #11 1119 ASICMiner Erupter USB (YOU WANTED NEW PRICE?) on: July 18, 2013, 04:06:04 AM
Received 2nd batch. now shipping...  you won't find me for a bit...

you are the man! Now I just need a 50A 150port USB hub!

you can get a 49 port hub, but it costs an arm and a leg

Found a few for 800. Still better to get the ankers if running on a computer. If I was only running a raspberry pi this would be the best option
Where did you find it for 800?

You are right, i should say :

I've visited your website, and it looks sketchy, confused and deceptive. Probably just a scam operation.

HAHAHA

So...how does one get on the list to be a tester of the USB device you will be giving out in August? Would love to be one of the few, have lots of video equipment and am willing to document everything. Smiley
139  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: BFL ASIC Single 60GH/s [Low Start Auction - Buy Now Price adjust!] on: June 21, 2013, 01:31:38 PM
Why does your Ebay profile say you are located in the Netherlands, yet in your auction you state it will ship from Florida?

Also why such a long gap in your history on Ebay? Sort of odd that you dont sell anything on Ebay for 2 years, then you sell a $18,000 item to a guy who also has a strange history as well.

Just say'n...
