241  Economy / Economics / Re: Your bitcoin experience, how did it started? on: December 06, 2017, 03:05:58 PM
For me this all started with lots of big NO, I don't want to invest into it and I always used to think that I will end up loosing my money. The was the case when I first knew about the bitcoin in 2012-13 period. I was college graduate at that period and had money that I earned from the part time job. Well, my friends went all into it without any fear but that was not my idea. So I have pretty great regrets of this events as today I could have been very rich. For clearing the facts I started investing money into bitcoin in year 2016 start and then also price was pretty low but again my mistake was that I dod not held any coins whichever I earned from the forum or online faucets. I just cashed them out and again that was second mistake of crypto. But now I understand the ultimate fate of the bitcoin and one should always hold the coin really. Thats the experience I have with my bitcoin.  Cheesy
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to mining how do I start on: December 05, 2017, 05:50:54 PM
You should get to know what it is in real and what way you can do it. There is always different type of mining hardware and you can mine different coins with them. SO with that your investment plan changes a lot and you may need to put more than what you have mentioned up here. The $600-800 USD is nothing now a days and you have to always put more than that to set up or build good rig.

Plus one to this post as this is what you should be doing in first place as I said it. Read and get to know the coins and the mining procedure of the same. :-)

In general, you should start with Google + Reading.

You will not be able to assemble a good machine for 600-800 USD. 1x card average is 200-350 USD in mid range. Like RX480 or RX570. Or 1060 6GB.
If device to assemble a mining rig, choose your cards from https://www.nicehash.com/profitability-calculator and then cheapest CPU+4 GB ram + 60 GB SDD is enough.

You can always do the rented mining where you actually rent the miners and then share the profits amongst the partners. Many ways are there you just have to get into it in dip way.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: These altcoins will skyrocket in 2018 on: December 05, 2017, 04:48:25 PM
Everyone is having their own personal choices in the crypto world and I think that is what makes it more or less decentralised currency or (well asset really).

For me somehow the IOTA is not working at all because I think its being pumped artificial these days and there is no way it can reach that 1,5 USD rates per IOTA all from few cents. That sucks really man. It will suck even more when it will be dumped by those artificial pumpers. Anyway, my investment is driving towards the only one coin and thats really sleeping at this point, called as SCL, the social coin. The devs are really working hard on this coin and they will surely pump it hard when it will be used as utility coin in the month of January. Plus the good news is the ETH is already pumped a lot and thus resulted in the increase market value for that particular project. This way I'm doing the math really and hoping that this coin will have huge investors and it is already on the verge of getting developed into higher upgrades. So hopefully SCL is the best one.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the reason behind this mass price rise? on: December 05, 2017, 04:03:02 PM
I know there has been some changes with Bitcoin, but I wouldn't think that anything big has happened (nor do I know of anything big that has happened) in the past month to justify this mass price influx. This is insane, and I really don't see a point to it.

I would expect some of you to know a bit more then me about it, so I await some more insight. Thanks!

One of the great reason for this one is futures companies investment plan into bitcoin this December month. They are supposed to come and get contract for bitcoin trading on their platform by 2nd week of December. So it might be the followers of futures investment who made the bigger moves in the market and then this also started chain reaction for the investment by other investors around the globe and thus making it grow fatter day by day. Also it was speculated already that prices will be 10K by end of 2017 and when we are nearing to the end more and more investors would love to get into the crypto before it is too late to buy.

Altogether effect? Increased market capitalism and thus very much good space for the bitcoin to spread around the world. :-)
245  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $10K? on: December 05, 2017, 03:26:16 PM
Yes I am buying bitcoin and on top of it I am trying to earn more and more bitcoins really. The benefit of earning it from the internet is that we can get 100% profits on it from there onwards when we see increased rates of the bitcoin. :-)

Well, speaking about the current rates which are hitting the price of 12K soon, yes I am buying at this rate also because I know the speculators have already spoken about the prices of the bitcoin and they are going to reach the rates of 20-25K though 2018 year. This is possible because now we have bigger and wide investor base coming from all around the glove. The fire of crypto currency has driven every nation and people into it towards the he demand and they are willing to buy it because now they want huge profits from it. This is why I'm also buying at this rate and I don't want to miss this train at all. Huge profits in the next year bro, so yes I'm buying no matter what the rate is.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: popularity of bitcoin dictates demand, means more profit on: December 05, 2017, 02:54:25 PM
in my opinion, this is what happening right now as the trend of bitcoin price has been sky rocketing.  what do you think affects the price increase of bitcoin today?

I think its the greed of earning more money, new enthusiastic crypto investors and the old investors getting millionaires is what driving the bitcoin prices crazy now a days. I am always speculator who says that whenever there is some bad or good event is happening in the crypto world then there is always dependent bad or good chain of event curing. For example, there is fork, then everyone will think "wow we are gonna get free forked coin" and thus few starts investing money into bitcoin, the price starts rising and thus people start buying it crazy and it starts chain of buying. The similar thing happens when reverse is happening, the chain of panic sell! Now a days bitcoin is sky rocketing because of new people, merchants and miners jumping into it. Now everyone trust bitcoin and its ability to rise no matter what happens in the world and no matter what who bans it. This way we get financial revolution and hence more and more market.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: December 05, 2017, 02:30:11 PM
Just imagine selling your $259,900 house for 43BTC and 2 Months in street.

and after just 2 months sell 43BTC for $498198.

Again buying the previous also you will be in profit of $472298.

would you try this technique.

I won't do this at all. I mean have you considered a scenario where reverse things has happened?

Selling your house $259,900 that is 43 BTC and after 2 months the prices came down due to forking or may be due to panic sell attack. This driven the prices of BTC = 2K USD which we had it at the start of this year. Then the whole thing is upside down. You 43 BTC  = 86K USD which is almost equal to killing yourself!

Also, consider this scenario, BTC = banned currency in your country. So your BTC = dead investment at that period. So again its as equal as to the dead man's chest!

I feel great that you seeing it as positive opportunity but really I wouldn't try it out by selling the whole property for it. I would rather just work on campaigns and hold these satoshi's for long. Im happy with that. :-)
248  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: December 04, 2017, 04:56:35 PM
A lot of people now days jumping and investing in the cryptocurrency industry.
If you are not investing in crypto, where do you else invest?
Property ? normal crowdfunding? give your input

May be not, I will not invest anywhere now after seeing how much prices all the crypto coins has achieved after so long time. I believe that this is start of the new era for crypto coins where we will see bright market capitalism for each and every top listed coins. We already have the hype that long awaited coins like ETH, Ripple and NEO ar egging to make some giant moves in the January month of 2018. If thats true then I'm sure I would invest more into these coins rather than investing into property or crowdfunding. Those projects or investments doesn't work now a days and I'm kinda started hating the centralised system where you don't get paid what you should get paid really, but in decentralised world everything looks fine to me. :-)
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Receive BTC payments anonymously? on: December 04, 2017, 04:10:47 PM
Dude, you might be very very rich because you think that 0.0025 is very reasonable fees. Lolz With current conversion rate 0.0025~ $ 25 USD. That would be so ridiculous to pay that much fees for each transaction you make. Moreover there is nothing anonymous in the crypto world as it seems to be because every bitcoin address or wallet still can be tracked from the blockchain nodes and you can't hide it at all by using no services in the world.

Why would I use HTML linking and stuff like that to complex the situation for my customer when he can just see the checkout and pay button provided by the plug in from your host provider. Thats the safety feature actually which should really make your customers feel free form the worries.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin First Billionaire: Winklevoss Twins on: December 04, 2017, 03:30:57 PM
https://www.dmarge.com/2017/12/winklevoss-twins-bitcoin-billionaires.html

Who hold more Bitcoin, the Winklevoss twins or someone else?

News media around the world is reporting that the Winklevoss twins are the world first bitcoin billionaires, stating they own 100,000 bitcoins. Congratulations to them.

Does anyone know who the other bitcoin whales are?
Wow does it really matter now who owns the more or less bitcoin. I mean the comparison would be ridiculous after seeing 100 thousands bitcoin into one persons possesion. That’s too much money in today’s date and I’m happy that people like these do exist who believed in the ultimate fate of bitcoin and held them for so long. It’s really not a joke to even have 10K bitcoin in our possession because it’s anyway equal to billions with current rate of bitcoin. If they hold the bitcoin for more two to three years then also they will become impossible billionaires in short period of time becaus the price then would be more than 50K itself. :-0
251  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax and crypto on: December 03, 2017, 06:58:03 PM
How do you keep track of your tax in regards to crypto?

I have not filed any tax related to crypto yet because I have not cashed out that much money from the crypto wallets to my fiat currency. In my country as long as I'm keeping the funds in the crypto form it is not of much concern but one the crypto coins are converted into fiat currency and when I withdraw it to the bank then many question might arise on it. Im still waiting for the government announcement regarding the bitcoin and its use within the country. Up until now I have only used bitcoin for purchasing online and in the international market so that I can spend the coins easily.

With only few instances I have cashed out little fiat into bank which is tolerable and does not come under any slot of income tax. So I think there won't be much caner and I will keep the withdraw limit restricted to that much per month and may not file the tax until its completely legal. :-)
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The USA officially recognized Bitcoin — what now? on: December 03, 2017, 06:39:27 PM
The United States officially recognized Bitcoin. Soon the sale of BTC on Chicago Mercantile Exchange will start. The event is planned to December, 18. I wonder, how will it affect the price of BTC? Does it mean there will be another jump of this crypto?

If thats the true news then I want to see it from where its coming really. Because the thing is there always rumours like this spreading eggs all over the board. The USA country was the one who did not like the idea of ICO and crypto in general because there Wall Street was sleeping because of it. I have heard it in confirmed way that they don't like the crypto but if you are seeing that this is official news and they are going to launch exchanger through the US then thats really great news. This will open up doors for the millions of legit investors from the US base and thus will drive more investment into. As per my knowledge US has got rich people and are willing to invest into crypto as always. So they will surely put the new hallmark of price per bitcoin after 18th of December.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 11k plus is the price of Bitcoin Now. my fear is..... on: December 03, 2017, 06:18:34 PM
Bitcoin might drastically go down deep following the sudden surge in price. If am wrong you can correct my impression thank you.

The prediction is wrong.

Bitcoin will not go down suddenly or anytime now because its in the full aggressive mode to rise with the time. Investments are all the time up now and the day trade is fully focused on the bitcoin investment only. There is no currency which is not being trades with the bitcoin because investors know very well that bitcoin is better investment than the others, so they are just trading the alts with it.

This is keeping the perfect balance of the market capitalism for the bitcoin which it has achieved by now. Plus there is complete hype of the bitcoin prices going all up towards the 15K rate in the next month or so. That is why we can keep the faith into it and the unity might just push the bitcoin rates to heavy nodes now.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PhD on a topic in blockchain on: December 02, 2017, 05:58:10 PM
I'm a Post Graduate Computer Engineering Student in India. I'm learning things about blockchain, and wish to do PhD in a topic involving Blockchain. Although, given the rate at which things are evolving, I'm not able to choose the topic in this fast changing technology. Do you have any suggestions?

Ah! Great someone from India is enthusiastic about the whole blockchain thing. I really appreciate your efforts and if you work on this thing pretty well then you will be granted with great success. I think there is wide variety of subjects or topics you can choose from.

If you are coder basically then you can workout the math on faster transaction or may be how to put the blockchain size to higher dimensions. What I mean by that is you can try to code it in a way so that the size issues will be vanished forever and we can have faster transaction with it.

Also try to grab lesson which will teach us on how to implement this tech over smartphone, digital boards etc which are trendy now a days.

I’m just telling in non technical way as I’m not related with the field of yours. But you always get the idea from the people who use that technology superficially. :-)
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018 on: December 02, 2017, 05:35:53 PM

Never mind.  Roll Eyes

Well, for any merchant to accept a payment it needs to be faster, on the spot and very stable. This is the characteristic of fiat currency which bitcoin does not have in the first place. The merchants like Mac Donald’s will work on the live payment portal where there transactions are processed immediately (almost) and goes through the visa or MasterCard services. Even the cash memo is entered immediately and updated into the system. This makes their chartered account to manage very easily.

The question is why would they choose bitcoin as payment mode.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Already lost 50% of my capital on: November 30, 2017, 07:05:19 PM
Hello guys. I just want to ask for your opinion or an advice.
I started trading since May 2017. I calculated all my loss, I already lost 50% of my capital  Sad. Some coins are still in hold.
I just want to ask what can you give to me an advice or any learnings  about trading. I'm using bittrex.

Hm, Im still wondering how you got that much loss after seeing the coins going upward this month. This month its like all the coins are 20%+ more than the month of may and until today. How can you say that you have lost that much money over the course of this period. You should triple check the math you did.

Honestly, this is ATH for each and every coin that is top listed on the coinmarketcap. It might be the case that you have invested your money into wrong coin and at the wrong time off course. Because 50% decrease in the coin value can not be seen at this market cap and dominance.

Also, what about the bitcoin? I you had some satoshi then also you could have made couple of 100 $ by now if you had invested back in may month. Hopefully you are still in profit.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: This time it is different on: November 30, 2017, 02:13:05 PM
Quote
With Bitcoin and the blockchain the old rules of economy no longer applies

And I like it that way only. We have to change as the time is changing and its better way to capture the good economic condition. Im more or less liking this idea of blockchain and running everything the way we want and without the ruling of government or some sort of authorities. I mean this gives freedom, freedom that people use to have earlier on how much wealth they can earn and keep it for themselves. I believe in all these things now, and hope that it works the same way as it is working right now.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Witnessing BTC going down, and all alts, directly at same time, again. on: November 30, 2017, 07:22:17 AM
China FUD, Fork, 10k psych,
I am witnessing, IMO, an unnatural drop across board, to the minute, when BTC drops.
Please explain to me why all others drop in value directly due to BTC value, to the minute...

The thing is bitcoin is dropping due to the market correction and nothing else. Altcoins are dropping because it is being invested into bitcoin after seeing it in the red zone. Or there could be another possibility that altcoisn are now being traded for the fiat first as they are getting profitable investment now. One thing is sure whenever there is fall of bitcoin there is rise of alt coins where we speculate that bitcoin is getting traded for the alt coins but somehow we are not in that position today. The market corrections are the reason for bitcoin but not for the alt coins itself. Whatever it is, it looks to me completely temporary because after all the catching up the market cap is not gonna break so severely. So just wait and watch for the bitcoin to rise again and behind that alt coins will gain the dominance too.
259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy Entry on: November 30, 2017, 06:48:30 AM
New here and cryptos are crazy!!!

Looks like 10K is holding up as resistance after the correction.

Do you think its time to buy?
Or it will still correct to 9600 level.

Sure it will hold and won't fall below this point. But as good investor we always think in both ways that is negative side as well positive side of the bitcoin. For me, I have seen big dominance of the bitcoin earlier in the year 2017 but also have seen those noob panic selling events. This has led to disturbed investment and it makes us think whether to invest money or not. At this point bitcoin looks good and I think the market correction was done with full confidence and it did not affect the bitcoin price at all. Now if we are able to see it stable at this rate then I'm sure its not falling below 8K mark for sure. That would huge dip and it could only possible if more than 20-30% of the investors starts selling in mega amounts of bitcoin. Hope the market depth of buy side keeps the dominance and everything stays on the top of it.
260  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is so much special than others currency ? on: November 30, 2017, 06:16:57 AM
This is so really hard to say special cause its difficult to explain specialty in short word
Some of them  are given below:

It’s a type of currency which know as peer to peer currency and this permit to send and receive money without help of broker or third party involvement
Every bitcoin holder can review their account information after sending money or receiving money from their account.
After all kind of transection bitcoin recorded sufficient proof of every client and account holder through different facilities.
Buying and selling process is so much easier than other currency
I think above mention quotation is sufficient for proving that how much special the bitcoin is.

Indeed. The difference of crypto currency and the fiat currency is what making people to think about the crypto more or less on higher fronts. They know very well the concept of self banking now. Here they can store the money as and when they want and they can send it to anyone in the world without providing much of the details, identity and all can be done with single algorithmic address that runs the train ob blockchain.

People and merchants are finding different ways of using it as smart contract and make the fund raising for the product and services development. This way they are able to generate revenue also and hence it is becoming very favourite currency of the era.
