How can I activate the Yubikey on the MtGox website?
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What programming language to learn? on: July 19, 2011, 09:08:50 PM
PHP ... Sure it offers so much freedom that if you do not code clean your program will be a mess...

You answered the question, avoid PHP if you really want to learn clean programming ;-)
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What programming language to learn? on: July 19, 2011, 04:39:54 PM
I would start with Python, Java or C++

With PHP/Javascript you learn to write crap code, so don't start with these Smiley
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huge Television Ad for Bitcoin on All the Major Networks on: July 03, 2011, 07:57:45 AM
When the usage of bitcoin is so easy, that also non-geeks can easily join the party, and not before, I want to see a Big Bang Theory episode about Bitcoin, with their appartement full of mining rigs and a cool story around it ;-)
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open source bitcoin software development fund on: July 02, 2011, 05:29:19 PM
Why not funding the different projects directly? I think there is no need for a central organisation distributing the money, maybe they don't it distribute it the way the donators wanted.
326  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Multipool - the pool mining pool (with source code) on: July 02, 2011, 09:33:42 AM
What happened to the payment for the last days of the original MultiPool? He said he will process it according to the submitted shares in the last backup files... I hope this can be addressed soon Smiley
327  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which pool is better to mine at? on: July 01, 2011, 09:17:30 AM
I am mining with BTC guild, used multipool for some time but unfortunately it is down now Smiley
328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buy or Mine? on: July 01, 2011, 09:16:21 AM
The best is to mine AND buy ;-)
329  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: wallet vs. private key on: July 01, 2011, 09:15:04 AM
I think it would be sufficient if they introduced encryption in the bitcoin client. So a encrypted wallet with a very strong personal PW, with the possibility to move it from the computer onto multiple secured usb sticks should be enough.
330  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 500Mh/s worth trying to solo mine? on: July 01, 2011, 09:08:18 AM
I would not solo mine with 500Mh/s, why not using a pool? So you would get a regular income instead of waiting for the BIG BANG which eventually never happens.
