Everyone is worried about the "coming dump" but I believe this is whole "pump" is being done by disillusioned Dark/Dash whales unhappy with the direction Evan is going.
It is in their best interest to send this up and maintain the price in the several dollar range for awhile to challenge Dash's dominance, they won't be able to do that if it gets real high and crashes to the ground floor then no one will trust it.

some of my Masternodes do Strange Things, because i forgot the Staking=0 in the conf file, some of them staked and stopped the MN Service.
But even after adding Staking=0 in the Config and restarting the Daemon, the Balance did not returned.

it happend to me before, you need to wait for stake to confirm (189 confirmations) then you need to setup your Adrealine node fresh.. GL For possible future reference, have you found/tried a way around setting up the node fresh in this situation? yes after confirmation is done you send whole balance to your "normal" local wallet then resend back 500 crave to masternode address and ./craved masternode start don't forget to recheck your crave.conf gen=0 so it doesn't stake again. how can i send them if the Balance does not show them? is the Parameter to stop staking gen=0 or staking=0 ? |

it happend to me before, you need to wait for stake to confirm (189 confirmations) then you need to setup your Adrealine node fresh.. GL as you can see it's already more then 800 Blocks since the stake happend, so everything should be returned as of now. |

Yesterday dev said that they already made the wallet with the masternodes. They said this is done. If this is true, why he didn't released yet? EDIT: I don't want to FUD here, but... dev...where are you? LOL even without dates this roadmap is almost complete, missing only the masternodes.

Have some easter stuff today and then want to do some more testing before I put the links out there. Your answer is in the quote pal. He said he wanted to do some more testing before throwing it into the wild to picked apart by us vultures. I'd rather he release a quality piece of work that will pump the price and keep it pumped as opposed to a half-arsed, bug ridden pre-alpha that has holes found in it within 5 minutes of being released and dumps the price back to 30,000. I heard the same a lot of times in crypto world in the last year... But i hope Crave will be successful. So,easter is over. Today what will happen? Release as stated yesterday,or post like "sorry,few more test nee to do,see you tomorrow"?. For me it's still easter Monday... |

Fact is: HashCoins is actively looking at what is being written in this board but does not react.
Fact is: HashCoins wants to get the money from buyers. However, once the money has been sent, they want the client to wave all his rights. The "Term of Sales" on their homepage doesn't show any content. But they also write: "All Sales Final. No cancellations or returns will be accepted". So once you've paid, they take the right to wait two months before they may or may not deliver.
Fact is: The first "persons" who jumped into this thread were all newbies. And guess what: Most of them were almost exclusively writing on this thread. So this smells like sock puppets.
Until now, I was lucky every time with pre-orders and was able to get my miners or my money back.
And I wish for myself that HashCoins is a legit company - let alone for this would give me the opportunity to go there and meet Tanja :-p
However, they either have a totally crappy and unprofessional marketing section (hello Tanja) or are a scam.

So yes there is ideology behind this coin : privacy, liberty, freedom, try to make the world less directed by "power" and more with the heart...
I hope that changing the name will not make the ideology behind it change too, otherwhise it will failed.
There's no ideology in something that nobody uses. The ideology's in the design, not the name. Vertoe is justified in leaving over not being consulted but less so over 'ideology'. It's not a rock song that's being built here it's electronic money. The name can easily be compromised without any loss of principle but the functionality can't. So Evan has got his priorities right in that regard. no. i left because i disagree darkcoin or however it will be called next year is not a decentralized entity. it never was but i ignored it as long as darkcoin was following the same path i was following. the path to total financial privacy. and thats why i am so upset about how this currency is lead by a single person. darkcoin is like an old conservative company with strong hierarchical comamnd structures and a single person on the top of the pyramid. evan duffield. the rebranding using a detergent name was just a step forward in creating something like apple or paypal. fuck this i tell you. what we need is a trustless, decentralized and anonymous currency. darkcoin is not decentralized as it still relies on a single person. and this reaches deep into the code base. the core devs were just a bunch of volunteers exploited for the big thing. the extended darkcoin team was the same with even a lower place to sit on that pyramid. and what was the darkcoin foundation again? right, something to reserve some rights on some names and collect money. who nominated and voted for the foundation board? who does even know who are these guys? how did we learn about the foundation? from local news papers! the team listings kept counting names of people nobody ever noticed before. and they never committed anything visible to the community or the repository. and i was spending 25 hours a day monitory everything that happened in the darkcoin community for more than a year. the things going on here are fishy, intransparent and rely on a single entity. i will get out and and will contribute to something decentralized and anonymous. i always hoped darkcoin could fill that void. i cant blame anyone to stay with this project. you are probably investors trying to win a gold donkey. or you are simply trying to exploit every possible vector of profit in the coins space. whatever. you are not here because darkcoin is something it claims to be. if you disagree with my statement above, i dont care, but answer that simple question: what if evan duffield suddenly announces he quits the project tomorrow morning? good luck wise words... +1 |
