121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are cryptocurrencies here to stay? on: August 05, 2018, 10:33:50 AM
Right now, it seems that the crypto world and block chain technology has a lot of potential, but is the crypto world here to stay? Not just bitcoins per se, but other virtual currencies as well like altcoins or litecoins and such. Do you think we will still hear about and use cryptocurrencies for the next, say 5-10 years?

Everything depends on the big investors, they will want to bury the crypto-currencies - they will do it. At the moment, people use practically nothing for crypto currency. Blame for everything - large price fluctuations.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins for hold on: August 03, 2018, 03:22:36 PM
What coins do you suggest for long-term holding? Bitcoin and Ethereum excluded.

I never choose coins for long-term storage - they choose me. If I bought a coin and it fell heavily in price, it automatically goes on long-term storage until the price starts to rise.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ⚡ Papusha Rocket Technology - New Supertechnology! ⚡ on: August 03, 2018, 03:16:16 PM

Thanks guys.
I did not expect that there will be so many responses to my question. Now the motives of Papusha's developers became clear to me.
But it is not clear why other projects do not change the date of the beginning of their ICO and at the moment there are dozens of different sales of altcoins.

I was happy to help you. I heard about this project for a long time and it is of some interest to me. That's why I regularly look at this topic.

Very pleased when the project has fans who help other people. This helps to achieve a friendly atmosphere in the project.

I also like to conduct discussions in various topics in a friendly atmosphere. This helps to understand more about the project, as well as to evaluate the development team.

125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties are STUPID on: August 01, 2018, 08:28:03 AM
With as many ICO as you can still make your self known? Bounty is a very good way to attract investors. There are companies that do not immediately give out tokens earned on the bounty. This is a very good solution to the problem of the fact that immediately merge the course.

The best solution against stalling the course is to pay bounty hunters in the Ethereums or Bitcoins. But it's much more expensive than paying with your own tokens.

I planned to invest in your project, and I thought that the ICO would start in late July. Now I see that you have postponed the start date of sales. Tell me what was the reason for this?

I could assume that the IСO was postponed for a month because of a not very good market situation. When all the coins fall in price, investors do not want to actively invest in new projects.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties are STUPID on: July 31, 2018, 05:00:20 PM
What's the point in distributing 2% towards bounties??

Those people will flip the tokens as soon as they get them, and it's usually much less people than it looks like due to multi-account.

Also the quality of the post is very low even for hero and "legendary" members.

If I had a coin I would never ever distribute part of the tokens towards bounties; I'd see that as a kick in the nuts to legit ICO participants.

Nobody prevents developers from paying bonuses to members of the bounty campaigns in the ETH or BTС. But after paying their rewards with their tokens, they do not spend anything out of their own pocket, for them tokens are worthless.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you sell your coins? on: July 31, 2018, 08:17:03 AM
Do you sell because of the rise/deep in the market, or do you sell because you actually needed the money and not because of the deep/rise of the price, or you're the type that just jumps in pick some profits and jump out?
I am a long term holder of altcoins. I sell my tokens (both alts and bitcoin) when I am broke, and when I need some money. I don't sell because there is a deep in the market, I sell because I need to. So, what about you?

Many people act silly and sell their tokens as soon as the price starts to fall. I do not understand why they do it and why they need it, because for any fall, there is necessarily a price increase.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so much hype on crypto on: July 31, 2018, 07:45:36 AM
Because most do not know what they’re investing in and would rather listen to the crowd. What happens then? Prices crash once you’ve bought into it. Taking a loan or using all your life savings can be hugely risky, especially if you do not have the prerequisite knowledge on the tech and the coins. Be informed. Ask the right people. Arm yourself with knowledge before jumping on the hype-wagon. This would significantly reduce your risk and most importantly, position you to invest in the long-term fundamentals of the technology.

You say the right things. Do not forget that most people here are present for the purpose of earning money and when they see in their eyes the money they become is not interesting to learn, they want to make money right away.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC? on: July 29, 2018, 11:57:15 AM
150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC?
Almost worth the same value now,  but which one is better for holding untill DEC 2018?

It seems to me that the cost will be higher in 150 Ethereum.
I heard that in the fall, decisions will be made to increase the scalability of the network, which will have a positive impact on the cost of ETH.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: July 28, 2018, 06:34:09 PM
The best defense against hackers is to store your money not on one purse but on several. Do not keep your money in a long time on purses tied to exchanges.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Down 80+% on: July 28, 2018, 05:39:41 PM
My portfolio fell in price by 70%. I do not know what to do anymore, it's very sad. I hope that someday the growth will start.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is dead :( on: July 28, 2018, 04:03:05 PM
While new projects will appear with IСO, new campaign targets will be launched. I believe that with each month we will receive more and more projects, unfortunately half of them will fail.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best 2FA validation App on: July 27, 2018, 12:00:07 PM
Hi guys, i recently came across this Hydrohen 2Factor Authentication app.How so you find it and your views?
https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1406519814

Use known 2FA like Google authenticator, Autty. My preferred provider is autty, it is very easy to use couple with good feature.

I also use Google Authenticator, it allows you to add many projects and accounts. In my opinion it is the most convenient.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you panic? on: July 27, 2018, 10:21:17 AM
Don't panic, sell some speculator if the project is good, it is in any case will increase in value, last year showed us how much can you earn on a good project, in this case, it will be those who panic sold him for peanuts and not wait for the pile of x's.

I also do not see the point of selling coins for the fallen price. Why trade at a loss? Or do you have no money for life? Do not invest your last money, leave a stock and then you will not have to get rid of your investments at a loss.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Market has come? on: July 26, 2018, 10:50:49 AM
Bitcoin breaks $8,000 and still increases every hour. The whole market, altcoins are also  green and solid growth. This is the best new today for crypto enthusiastic. I think that the Bull Market has come. What do you think?

You just do not frighten this price. Let's calmly wait for the development of the situation on the market. Remember, most recently Bitcoin also grew up dramatically and then fell back.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Exchange do you all recommend? on: July 26, 2018, 09:53:29 AM
I use more than 10 exchangers and here everything depends not primarily on my preferences but on the coins and tokens that I trade. Each exchange trades its crypto currency pairs.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyEtherWallet has added a new feature! on: July 25, 2018, 05:28:22 PM
MyEtherWallet has added a new feature - the ability to purchase ETH using Visa or MasterCard. What do you think about this?

This is good news, there will be an additional opportunity for transferring Fiat into crypto-currencies. It would be still good if they made it possible to output ETH to the same cards.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Exchange do you all recommend? on: July 24, 2018, 09:53:16 PM
Different coins are placed on different stock exchanges and than a coin or a token is younger than the less well-known exchanges they trade.
Therefore, you need to first look at what coins you want to trade in order to tell you the best stock exchanges.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: July 24, 2018, 08:40:52 PM
Do not in any way think to send your personal data to airdrops. Then 99% of them will be used for their own purposes, and you will not get anything.
