Shame...I was gonna mine this. I rented a 1 THs rig for something else and was going to mine this in the interim. Unfortunately, I couldn't unzip the Windows client. It was giving me 'unspecified' errors.
Sigh...
download 7zip and try that. I don't know if the windows unzip will handle passwords.

If we are using the sph-sgminer with a mining pool, will we need to use the --difficulty-multiplier=0.0039062500 see the note on option below.
Important! A new option was added: --difficulty-multiplier. It allows to set stratum difficulty multiplier. For QubitCoin, Quark and Animecoin it will be usually 256. For Groestlcoin, Fuguecoin and Twecoin it will be usually 0.0039062500 (1/256). Default value is 1.0. If you have "share above target" errors then set it to 256. If difficulty required by pool is strangely large, set it to 0.0039062500 (1/256). Other values are unlikely to be used. Hopefully this will fix all remaining stratum problems.
I looked into this more and it depends on which pool you mine from. If you get too many accepts going on, you need to raise it. If you don't see any accepts, you need to lower it. I would guess you should see about 1 accept every 30 seconds would be good. You don't want the pool to get overloaded with accepting shares and you want to submit your work at least once per block.

First nothing wrong with wallet, it's the pools that gonna get a source update to fix the 10000 block issue, source is already fixxed for that but dev is asleep. I saw that on IRC. Second they have always said that source is derrived from blackcoin as every other coins lately (WC, AC, CINNI, YC etc etc .. ) and BC was a clone of MINT and MINT was a clone of ...etc etc .... SO w8 for updates on pools and when the fix is ready it's ready ... keep up doin GOOD now I second that. Wait for updates. Nothing serious.

I can't compile from source on Linux error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.0.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
There is a read me in the docs folder. For compiling with qt.... "Readme-qt.rst" You need to run qmake first. There is also notes in the file for different breeds of Linux/unix.

Any good news on the new windows wallet?
Only news is our coder ruled a lot of things out, the source is sound but still having issues during compile. I will be offering a special bounty for any who can help resolve this, and a chance to become GOOD's first non-incremental bounty whale with 10k GOODs for a good working windows compiled wallet or a solution that results in a good working wallet. Unfortunately, our coder is not awake yet. Where did you pull the initial source from before the modifications? Is it a branch off of github? Updated source is forked from blackcoin 1.0.6. Previous (the windows compile currently in circulation) is from blackcoin 1.0.5.1 It would seem that blackcoin source has a similar initial startup issue. Syncing now to see if mining is also effected.

you could have the jokes posted on facebook and see who gets the most likes.
if they are pretty "good" I'm sure the community will share them thus giving you more "good" publicity.

Hello GOOD community!!
Who is the person who had the chance to find the first block?
Maybe he can buy a GOOD car with 51000000 GOOD !!!!!
Maybe that's you Seefude !!!!! ahahah!!!
Yessir! The 51 mill is located on OP so you guys can watch it get smaller as it gets passed out. Official faucet should be online by today. Through bounties, faucets, and promotional giveaways, over 40k GOODs will be passed out today, and another 40k mined through PoW scrypt. Speaking of.. anyone have any ideas on how I should give some away that's fair? I want to give about 15k away today through promotions. Winning idea will receive 300 GOOD just for the idea! I think we need a "good" joke contest. Involving cryptocurencies... something like "Litecoin and a Bitcoin walk into a bar....etc."

is there a way to solo mine with the windows wallet? my wallet seems to crash right after the miner logs into the client and tries to retrieve work.
I think you can still mine, just don't click ok on the box (since it synchronizes) yes, it does still seem to work for solo mining so long as you don't hit OK. thanks a bunch
