Faucet must have bigger timeout, 1 minute is so low as there are 100 members that will claim all the coins from faucet, also this way faucet kills the need of mining the coin, i have 450+kh and i get 10x less from mining than from faucet so based on that i don't have a need to mine this coin as i get more without spending anything from faucet, so please reconsider the claim time again

It was just a fun idea I had and the dev actually implemented it !  It's only for a limited time and it's awesome get to the clickin' and a typin' !

that is good idea but only if there were more people claiming it, and the site counter says about 100 users all the time so that is not much

I find that the altcoin community has a lot of ideas, and a lot of talkers, but very few people actually doing the work required to bring those ideas to fruition. Dogecoin and Vertcoin are probably the best communities I've seen, but outside of them, I see a lot of greed, a lot of talk just for bounties. Indeed, we should think big, but we should also start. Even a small start is a start. The issue I see today is lots of thinking big, and nothing else.

@gts476: It'd be great if you could take the action needed and let us know what the detailed steps are in order for your idea to happen.

Just my two cents GOODs.

You are not wrong in that assessment Shuxy, and that is exactly what I wanted the human mining portion to enable. Whatever the coin needs more in order to grow, it will be easier to gain GOODs by performing those services, whether its promotion, hashpower, coding, events, or just about anything that would add value to the coin, the ones who take action will reap the biggest bounties. In turn, those actions will also add value to the bounties that they are paid.

This will also make it the most fairly distributed coin, even faircoin! No matter your skillset or assets, as long as you have computer and internet, you can get your share!

It's good to have lots of ideas, but just with everything else in life, following through is where the payoff is at.

@gts476: If you'd like to host an impromptu tourney in any game you play on say twitch.tv or something, I think it'd be a great start. Gotta start somewhere, then learn from the mistakes  Wink

The current value is promotional as we grow things will adjust. It also asks the question, what's worth more, your miner's time or your clicking time? In the end, this balances and gives value in itself. Sure you can sit there for 8 hours clicking away, but then that means you can't go to work.

I am also considering lowering the amount paid out daily from human mining to keep hashrates higher. Community input would be appreciated.

Hey guys, how do you know how many coins you got coins from stake?
In the transactions tab, is the type "Stake" or something? Or does it come in like any other transaction?
Thanks a lot and have a GOOD day!

Breaking NEWS, GOOD news, we will sponsor the F1 team Ferrari for the rest of the season:

You made this in photoshop, right?
I'm slightly new to photoshop so I was wondering what tool you used to distort the logo?
Thanks for the help

PoS gains show up with a cross pickaxe symbol for transaction, meaning it was mined. Looks like symbol when you solo mine or mine at p2pool

is there a new wallet to update?

That's the new windows wallet. Shouldn't crash anymore, with some added features.

Yeah, its "edit-transform" than I usually choose warp and scale, rotate of course and add a little lensflere at the right spots so it seems more "original" , and always work with layers so you can go back and forth

I think GOOD will have a bright future, but please don't rush exchanges and such. Keep talking and spread the word (GOOD's) and it will be fine. And please help out with the mining, diff is low atm.

Absolutely. There is no need to rush to an exchange at all.

As said, exams till 29th on May (Physics). Then I'll get creative.

yeah he asked our opinion a couple of post ago, as coin is new it's a GOOD promote, then of course balance vs mining must be priority, mybe some days still with high promote value then make it harder to "human" mine after we go up in popularity ...

Any issues with the network?

I was mining last night and got 100 percent rejected blocks.  Weird.

Correct, faucet is largely for promotion currently and to distribute to as many different people as possible, so enjoy it while you still can. I would much prefer to have the human mined part all bounties, but we are not there yet. Could use more blogs and game that isnt gambling but actually just pays out, or gamble against other players no a simple probability against computer. Would pay very large bounty for something like that. Also if someone wants to hold their own promotion or giveaway campaign let me know. It's all too much work for 1 person, but together, we can make it good.

In other news, we have 2 new devs that will be building the official site and branding. More details on that later.
