Bought Borderlands 2.

It was very fast and had the game a few minutes after purchase! Great service.

Thanks for the heads ups.

....I'm running the similar command on x64 Linux, we'll see after 2 more hours or so if that works vs windows.
I just got finished doing an import of the bootstrap.dat file on ubuntu 12.04 with 1.7.0 PPA Bitcoin install, and it had the same problem - the import stopped at block 189205. It looks like this problem is platform-independent.

I started seeding Wink

Will this also work with web seeds?
What's a "web seed"? If you are seeding, that's better than a torrent hit-it-and-quit-it. If you are using Azureus/Vuze, you should also install the Mainline DHT plugin so your seeding is more easily discoverable.

webseeds are dedicated or VPS seeds Wink

I use uTorrent and I'm seeding. What would be the point of downloading bootstrap.dat and then remove it after? Tongue

A web seed is a file you can link directly to. like, domain.com/downloads/bootstrap.dat - You can add that to the torrent and it will also download from that link.

If you haven't already, put it on Bitmit as well.

Let's settle this once and for all.

Irrelevant and pointless. I mean name a single good reason why it would matter?

Jobs?

I'm very interested in some the chopsticks carved from bamboo and a Hanko.

What about those fancy beds you use on the floor? What's the name?

What exactly does the "class #" mean?

I'm using MultiBit, but I would probably use Armory if it wasn't depending on the original client.

What is the most "Japanese" thing you can offer?

How does one get your BTC back from GLBSE?

Annoying bug:
the "Items from <country>" probably uses the IP address to detect the country instead of the one in the user settings.
Not good for people traveling or using a VPN hosted in a foreign country...

It should show the country according to the IP when it's non-registered users.

For users logged in, it should simply overwrite and use the info from the users profile.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meanwhile in Denmark..... on: October 08, 2012, 08:42:39 PM
Here in Sweden we'll get a service called swish from Q4 2012 and onward. This should open up possibilities for instantaneous payments p2p, possibly even allow for decentralized exchanges and a host of other improvements (think everything mintchip would allow).

Not sure about developments in Denmark, or the rest of Scandinavia.

https://www.getswish.se/

This should be on all Danes radar too. Danske Bank is one of the providers who have signed up. It might be that it's easier to implement in Sweden due to the fact that we only have 4-5 big banks whereas you Danes have an incalculable amount of different banks.

Interesting. Will keep an eye on it.

Nice to see some Bitcoin activity in your own home country Cheesy
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin is illegal on: October 07, 2012, 11:36:17 AM
There is only one reason for a normal person to want a Bitcoin - to break rules, laws, and regulations.

You're suggesting only terrorists & criminals use bitcoin?

What a thing to say.   Huh

There are plenty of legit reasons to support and use bitcoins.

1.  Economic stability.  Bitcoins are more stable than currency printed by central banks.

2.  Low transfer costs.
So far...

3.  Independence from banks, credit cards and others who have near to a monopoly on money exchanges.
MTGox?

4.  Protection from inflation.

I'm thinking of buying the UG802, but I'm unsure about something.

I want to use it with Netflix.

How do I "control" the interface? I don't see any remote with it?

It says yes to Android Market. Is this the same as Google Play?

Is it possible to setup a VPN on Andriod?

(Total noob when it comes to Andriod Tongue)

Support Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, etc. Remote Control not included, but can be ordered separately.
google play this that the same android market after the rebranding.
VPN on Andriod? Yes, there is.

Thanks for the info.

I went with the UG802+ Elite instead. It's better and cheaper.

Now I just need an iPhone app that function as a remote for UG802+ Cheesy

60  Economy / Service Discussion / An alternative VPS service for BTC? on: September 05, 2012, 04:15:48 PM
Hi guys.

I have been using these guys (http://domvps.com) for a while now because they are pretty cheap and their service works without complaint.

However, I have several times tried to get them to accept BTC with no luck, but I would really like to pay with BTC if possible.

I'm therefore wondering if there's any VPS services out there, within the same price-range and quality, that accepts BTC?
The services I've found so far are much more expensive compared to what I get at domvps.com

I strongly prefer a server in Netherlands or as close to Denmark as possible!

Edit: I currently pay $21.5 a month for ->
Quote
2 cores
40GB HDD space
2GB guaranteed RAM
4GB burstable RAM
1TB traffic (1Gbit burst)
1 IP addresses
10 IPv6 addresses

Best regards
