From my understanding is someone could make an application using the JSON files to split up a file (ex .zip) across multiple nodes.  So someone should in theory be able to make a dropbox like application when it's released.  I'm not sure if the files are going to be encrypted but I bet someone could write a program to encrypt the data.

Catching up on this thread was a very nice hour of free entertainment but I do agree that we should be talking about the tech instead of price but it is hard to talk about the tech without being able to get our hands on it.  Otherwise its just speculation about the tech.

We can, however talk about how PlumeDB and SCDP work together to accomplish the end goal.

I'm excited to have the first(?) decentralized database that is easily accessible by anybody.  The possibilities for medical advancement is through the roof.

I was honestly expecting a data cap of 100 MB to start with so the 1 GB cap was very nice to see.  I'm not a coder so uploading JSON files isn't very useful for me at this moment but it in my opinion is an amazing first step to adoption and usability.

I also tossed out an idea to make apps easily accessible on the Sapience Network.  I'm kind of hoping we will keep it a total surprise if we decide to implement it in future updates.  It's good to give surprise gifts.

Our ANN needs to be updated.  XAI while will be able to be used as a smart trading application it will be able to do far more than just that.    We are currently testing our core data platform and decentralized database before releasing the next update. 
Some possible use cases for xai are:

Large Data Storage
AWS like services
Data cycle rentals
Torrent services
web hosting (which you already have covered)
Blockchain Operating System (BOS)

The best way to think of XAI is a smart Etherum that distributes data over the blockchain and is able to learn.

Quotient XQN is set to be our trading platform and is planned to be the first application for Sapience to run.  XQN currently has aggravated data analysis to assist with trading.

XAI and XQN are still very young so we do have a little trek to go because we are coding nearly every function and algorithm from scratch.

I apologize about the confusion and will speak with our main dev so I can gain access to the thread to update it with the necessary information.

New to this community but very impressed with the development with this coin.  Have you had a chance to take a look at Sapience XAI?  I think these two coins would benefit a lot from a joint venture.  Sapience would do the routing and VPNCoin would provide the DNS services. 

Sapience is an Artificial Intelligence Platform that when fully developed will be able to have a very wide variety of uses.  We are just now finishing up on our decentralized database PlumeDB and the Sapience Core Data Platform.  As of right now SCDP with PlumeDB is able to store JSON datasets with sizes upwards of 1 GB.

Very active development, our coins value is on the rise and people are just now starting to find out about it.  I believe a joint venture would be very beneficial to both coins in terms of adoption and use cases.

It will be a truly decentralized dropbox (unlike MaidSafe).  But that's not even close to where we will end with this

Note this is still in alpha/prebeta I would expect some files to have difficulty uploading and there is a data cap of 1 GB (I've been corrected ) or less.  (Please correct me if the datacap is less or more)

We did run into a few issues last night when trying to get the release out on time for the giveaway.  Unfortunately we were unable to get it fully functioning by that time.  Cedric pulled an all nighter (thank you!) to make sure this release gets out ASAP.  My understanding is the issues have been fixed and he is running a 12 hour test on both his phone and computer to assure stability.  I will announce it via twitter as soon as I get the OK.

As I start to step up into a more active role in the promotion of XAI I will be providing all the ups and downs we experience with the project.  Luckily with this being crypto people usually understand that unexpected delays happen.  I will do everything in my ability to make that updates get released on time or if they can not be released on time as expected that our investors are aware of what is going on.

That being said.

We had a very long conversation last night about how best to manage Sapience in terms of it being Open Source or not.  We have decided to take a Etherum/DarkCoin like route where we will make certain pieces of the Sapience platform open to the public.  We feel this is the best route to not only protect the shared interests of our investors but to also make sure no third rate Artificial Intelligence clones get chucked out into the fray. 

We want to do this right the first time around!

Being an early adopter does have its benefits.  It's nice to know exactly what is in development at what time.  I took a huge risk here and it's looking to me like it's about to pay off.
