The questions raised about Qatar weren't really about their ability to host a World Cup in general, but the methods used and the policies implemented to build the infrastructure for the World Cup. Money isn't a problem, human rights are a problem. Human dignity is a problem. When a country can or regime can build infrastructure for hundreds of billions of dollars, why can't the people building that infrastructure be paid reasonably and be treated fairly and with respect? Even if you hypothetically cancel out the two own goals in Manchester, Sevilla would have still won result-wise. Yes you could say that the game would have gone differently if they started with a two goal advantage, but still Sevilla was so convincing in the second leg that I thought they are the deserved winner and nobody else. There achievements in the Europa League are unique for a reason.
