1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Bitcoin Supreme - Free Distribution - Bounties- Low Transaction Fees on: April 05, 2018, 02:08:50 PM

Distribution will be fair and simple. Everyone will be given coins for free through airdrops and bounties. You do not need to have BTC to receive BTCS, this way it will be easier to welcome new people into cryptocurrencies. There will be no ICO.

15% for team
25% for network stability (Will be kept in a wallet temporarily until network is fully stable, once stable, the coins will be rewarded to top 25% wallet holders)
30% for Airdrops
10% in bounties
20% for help with Marketing, PR, Development help, Moderators, etc.

This is actually a 35-60% pre-mine. Depending on whether the "network stability" coins are distributed to the "team members" which would obviously be the top wallet holders. That is ridiculous. I think you should rethink the distribution, if not this coin will be dead before it starts.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Network Attack on XVG / VERGE on: April 05, 2018, 01:56:07 PM
so, do I understand it correctly: attacker keeps all his coins? 15.600.000+?

Yes ...

It is 'his' chain that is now the main chain,so all the coins created in that chain are the 'legit' ones.

VERY rich MF now!

#crysx

but ocminer said here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3256693.msg33973629#msg33973629 that coins could be removed. The devs just don't care?

The devs CARE that is why they are doing what they can to protect the network.

They cannot control everything though so to roll back a blockchain to before the attack and exclude the attackers blocks (which I think is what OCMiner was alluding to - and he is correct) ... if that is the case, well - they may as well rename the coin to ETH then!

What has been done, has been done. Only my opinion of course, which isn't worth a pinch of salt if the Verge dev decides otherwise.

#crysx

That is almost $1,000,000 worth. But I also see that in the ling range, it is less than 1% of market cap. It could go either way really. If they all get dumped it will definitely hurt things. But also rolling back may hurt things worse? Someone should be quick to release Verge Classic if a rollback happens.

ETH Asic Miner Released, Decentralized Mining in Jeopardy, Bitmain Likely Been Mining and Selling ETH for Months

https://twitter.com/BITMAINtech/status/981169456411021312?s=19

Ethereum is supposed to be ASIC resistant, or at least ASICs shouldn't be able to mine ETH better than normal hardware. Bitmain is putting an ETH ASIC miner out anyway.
https://coincodex.com/article/1473/bitmain-introduces-ethereum-asic-miner-how-will-the-ethereum-community-respond/

I saw this also. It really makes me wonder what has been going on that we are unaware of. If they were mining with these for months it could very well be responsible for some of the huge value lost in that time. I hope that more info will be available soon about this.

I think they are pretty active on social media. I agree though, it would be much better if they were active here and gave us updates on how much sold, and other real time stats. There is not much time left, so I guess we will just see soon.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Sphere - Decentralized Social Networking >200,000 users on: April 04, 2018, 06:02:43 AM
There is only 5 days left for this ICO. The team really should be in this thread promoting and answering questions. But maybe it will be better for us investors if they dont. Less money in should mean more will be burnt, so out portions will be a larger chunk right?
less money in, means less fund for development and marketing, gone are the days where you make your token scars to increase value now we need a lot of investors to hold and trade a token to create volume in an exchange.

Oh ok thanks, I understand better now. Well in that case, I hope the team has plans for last minute promotions. It has been a while since I was involved in ICOs, but before a lot of times at the last minute, a bunch more money flowed in. I guess I will just hope for that.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Primalbase - Distributed Workspace for Tech Community on: April 02, 2018, 09:43:43 PM
To me, this project is one of the few successful real world projects so far. In 1-2 years, the demand for the token will increase so much. By the way, since the gateway released, the new question be like:

I agree that there is a lot of potential here, and possibly will be added to larger exchanges soon(even if the Primalbase account is not allowed to acknowledge this). But I do not see a chance of getting listed on poloniex anytime soon. Not because it does not "deserve" to be there, but because poloniex has not been adding any coins at all this year. It seems they just stopped listing new projects completely. Maybe Bittrex though, that would be good.

I am very pleased with the Ethereum gateway. I never was happy with the waves platform, and then after the online waves wallet said it was shutting down, I got a little worried. But now everything should be golden. I hope this opens doors for more exchanges, I guess we will see soon.

I have not done the switch yet, is it pretty easy and secure?

sidenote: Why does it say the Primalbase account has invested in 61 different coins?  Huh
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: April 01, 2018, 05:32:27 AM
What makes you think the alt coins like this are going back up?  They are all falling in price right now because in this nutty system when bitcoin tanks...everything tanks with it.  Four months ago FOMO around Thanksgiving and Christmas had tons of stupid money pour into Bitcoin and alt coins.  Now all those who poured in at 15-20k are burnt and out for good.  Or HODLing the bag as whales pump and dump 24/7.

Bottom line is almost all the altcoins are 1. scam or 2.  a horrible actual investment as you are essentially crowd funding ideas with no responsibility to you.

As for Bitcoin...it is not a future currency.  Currency cannot have the volatility nor should it be investable.

What do you think the discussions will be like around the Easter meal?  All negative.  Don't fool yourself and quit hodling.

Every time there is a (large)correction in market, new users come out and say this stuff. While it is true that a lot of value has disappeared from ETC, I am pretty confident prices will go back up. Corrections never seem to go lower than previous ATH's, so it is logical to think that after the next huge surge, we will see ETC "recover" back to $45 and there will be a lot of new people yelling how $45 is the end of the world. It is just the natural process of things.

I may be wrong though, so do not take my rambling as investment advice. Only you are responsible for your wins or losses.

price is not going very well, but , all of news looks to be good. I am not really sure why it is like this. Maybe we are still not past the haters dumping, they will regret it soon though(or i will regret holding, one or other i guess).

Our aim is to use our network to help the  little farmers who are crushed by the enormous producers. We wan't to support them in their development.

I do not think I understand this. How will creating an ERC20 token help small farmers? What country are the farmers you are targeting? Do you plan to earn profits and somehow share the proceeds with small farmers? Please elaborate on this more because I do not understand.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGS]🚀 Dragonglass - Mine Crypto While Playing a Mobile Game [ICO][Bounty] on: February 27, 2018, 08:29:41 PM
This is a neat idea. The thing I dont like as an investor is, if I do not play the game, My purchase is only worth 10% of what it could be right? It seems like the inflationary nature of this is pretty huge.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][STEEM]STEEMIT.COM THE REDDIT OF CRYPTOCURRENCY-BLOGGING IS THE NEW MINING on: February 25, 2018, 08:21:28 PM
This coin's market is really like a roller coaster, if your heart is not good ,you should better not buy this coin, from 30K sat pump to 600K sat just in one week on JUL 2016, and later soon , it dumped for almost 1 year that looks like dead. i even never trust this coin still alive 2018 Grin

With Steem, there has just been a large transfer of wealth. This actually happened on more than one occasion. But going forward I think current holders are here to hold.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: AUGMENTORS GAME Augmented Reality Mobile Gaming iOS Android Token DTB Databits on: February 24, 2018, 08:57:18 PM
Their retarded updates (I hear about pre-alpha since the end of ICO) worth nothing. They can't fix a zero volume problem. After delist on shittrex this bullshit game will be done, a dead on arrival. Glad to see that my erc token proposal was taken by bazaar and he put in into moronic heads, finally.

It will be bad if Bittrex drops DTB yes, but it will not be the ed of the world for the coin. When and if a valuable product gets released, other exchanges will pick it up, and bittrex may even relist it.

It is still only on exchange that most of us refuse to use. I would not put too much basis on prices and volume based of that. If it goes to bigger exchanges than you can make a better judgement. I have not even bothered yet as there is no where to send.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]⚡️TITAN COIN⚡️The first ICO project based on Byteball platform. 🚀 on: February 24, 2018, 06:58:30 PM
This is interesting to see something based on byteball. I have not seen that before. I will have to read more before giving more opinion. I see at first glance it based on real world application, which is always good.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ThoreCOIN on: February 24, 2018, 06:47:12 PM
I do not see any information about coin except how to buy? What is the purpose of buying? How will this coin add value to the money if I decide to invest it into it?  Looking forward to your responses.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] VIO: The future of money transfers on: February 24, 2018, 06:25:30 PM
These never work out. There are way too much red tape for verification with crypto to credit cards. The only way it could work would be for a small company with tiny user base..so it would have no interest for an investor here
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Need co-founders or an investor (PRE-ICO) on: February 24, 2018, 06:09:58 PM
What is your coin offering? Why do you need funds before even the beginning of development? Do you have any background in this type of project? These are just some of the many questions that should be answered before asking for investments.

Hi, this looks like an interesting project. I am looking into the details on it now. It is still early, but I see there is more than a month until the ICO which is good because we will be able to hear more info by then.
